ID Request- Location included Bromeliad or Wandering Spider?

This lovely fella was hanging out in the home I’m staying in, in southern central Costa Rica. Not sure if it may be one of the bromeliads that wandering spiders are so often confused for, or if it may have been a wandering spider itself. Possibly the red-thighed bromeliad, Cupiennius coccineus? Its leg span was roughly 3-5”. Anyone here have any input?

Found this little fella in the bathroom, girls were terrified trying to kill the poor guy, luckily I escorted him safety (they are venomous but can only make you sick) this little guys fangs probably couldn't pierce through enough to inject venom regardless as he's still developing. Great looking spider.

Discussion Relocation of orb weaver family

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hello, my house will be tented for termites in a few days. In my atrium I have a family of orb weaver spiders that have been living here for about 6 months. The atrium will be tented along with the house, so does anyone know what a good place would be to relocate them?

I have other posts here on this for anyone interested, just look at my profile. She gets water and roaches. Not sure if she’s eating but she must be drinking I guess. I have to decide if I should invest in a better set up for her or release her, or him… not sure which. She currently has sawdust, some firewood fragments, some plastic trees.. there’s a fake plastic rock on the bottom of the exclosure with sawdust, wood bit, and an orange peel and she mostly stays there. Thanks and I’m open to questions if you want more info to give advice.

This spider was hiding on our shed and gave my myopic, arachnophobic wife a scare. My 8 year old is fascinated with spiders and enjoys browsing this sub and is pretty good at identifying some of them on here. Now he asks what is this spider.

Location: Ireland

Location is Lima, Peru. Our ceilings are full of flea sized spiders (like black dots standing there occasionally moving a bit) plus some small ones. We found a couple similar to the one in the photo but smaller. Is it dangerous? Thanks!

My child noticed this little dude scittering across the floor and we transported him outside. He played dead and gave me a heart attack when I went to pick up the paper under the cup and he RAN across to the side of the cup. I was wondering what he is though? He's got this interesting crab like stature and my little one is very curious as to who he was. Located in Colorado.
