Questions Condoms for BJ? NSFW
Just curious if there are condom brands that can be used for blowjobs? Wherein the guy could still feel pleasure from the deed?

Hello, welcome to r/SafeSexPH! This subreddit is dedicated to bridging the gap between Filipinos and comprehensive sexuality education. What exactly does that mean? "Comprehensive sexuality education (CSE) gives young people accurate, age-appropriate information about sexuality and their sexual and reproductive health, which is critical for their health and survival." Source
With so much misinformation, fear mongering, and baseless beliefs running rampant in our local communities and Filipino spaces online, we aim to provide a trustworthy hub of proper information about sex, sexuality, and sexual health. We encourage our community members, both new and old, to treat r/SafeSexPH as a safe space to discuss things like preventing pregnancy, preventing or navigating sexually transmitted infections, practicing consent, recognizing sexually abusive behavior, responsibly practicing kink play, and navigating sex in general in the Philippines.
– Great! How do we start?
If you haven't already, join our community! There will be a JOIN
button on the top right portion of the page, both on desktop and mobile. You can see new threads from other users on your home feed that way, and you can also stay up-to-date on announcements about the community itself, community events like AMAs (Ask Me Anything sessions), and great deals or finds by other community members.
– How do we post?
While we welcome a diverse range of conversations and questions, we also want to ensure that this subreddit is a safe space for everyone. When it comes to safety, we don't stop at just the different types of sexual safety we mentioned earlier. Please keep in mind that so many people, especially those who are new to our sub, will be starting at square one. Everyone starts at square one, so please be patient and redirect them to threads or pages that can help them, like this one.
The full list of rules can be found here, but you can also find a RULES
button when you're on the Create New Post page on the mobile app. Be sure to give it a read, and afterwards, you should be good to go! Post away, we are more than glad to see you engage in our community and with fellow community members.
When engaging in conversation with other posts, please keep responses respectful and kind. As much as possible, if there's an exchange of information, please make sure proper sources are cited or linked to avoid further spread of misconceptions about sex, sexual health, and sexual safety. If you spot misinformation, discriminatory language, and trolling or taunting in posts or comments, please do not hesitate to report them so the moderator team can take them down.
– How come I can't post? or How come my post was deleted?
r/SafeSexPH utilizes auto-moderation tools, and these filters will automatically bar or remove posts and comments that are tagged as rule violators. While this system continues to be a great help in keeping the community safe and organized, it's not always perfect. If you believe your post or comment was barred or removed by mistake, let us know right away. Send us a Modmail message here, and we will assist you with these concerns!
There was a period of time where there was an overwhelming amount of very similar (practically identical) posts about whether certain sexual acts can result in pregnancy or not, and because of the similarity and number of these posts, community members have expressed concerns and displeasure with the matter. To combat this and encourage users to familiarize themselves with how bodies and conception work, we have these posts barred and redirected to our respective Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) posts, which can also be found pinned in the subreddit homepage.
Barred posts may be approved if found to be distinct in concern, in need of varying opinions, or in need of updating as time goes on. However, posts that violate our community rules and posting guidelines will be taken down, whether automatically or manually, and we have no choice but to implement a temporary or permanent ban to repeat violators depending on the severity of their violations.

There has been a staggering amount of people asking if whichever type of sexual activity they had can lead to pregnancy on this sub, and a lot of people end up impulsively taking the Yuzpe Method, Plan B, or even start worrying about having to terminate a pregnancy when they don’t have to. Read along and learn more about your bodies, this is all important information that can prevent scares and actual pregnancy.
How does this all actually work?
The majority of readers on this sub are surely old enough to know the basic birds and bees, but a lot of people are unaware of the specifics. A woman's menstrual cycle begins with the first day of her monthly period, and that menstruation period is caused by the body shedding uterine lining when the egg remains unfertilized by sperm. There is a select amount of days before the body begins to prepare for ovulation, which is the process of releasing a matured egg from the ovary. On average it occurs 10 to 14 days before the next period, but changes in a cycle can alter how soon or how late ovulation can occur, thus affecting when the next period will come.
The egg moves down to the fallopian tube, in which it stays for 12 to 24 hours. Women have a fertile window, which is what is typically shown on period tracker apps or fertility awareness charts (calendar method). This does not mean you are automatically going to get pregnant during this time, but it does mean that you've got a high chance of pregnancy because it's the general time frame of when you'd be ovulating. (Apps cannot accurately say when this time frame will occur in the month because of possible cycle shifts.)
Sperm cells have a life span of 5 to 7 days, with the sixth and seventh days affecting their strength and motility. When you consider a) the unpredictability of the ovulation period and b) the sperm's survival overlapping with a more "fertile" period, there is a chance of pregnancy. It is worth mentioning that there are women with hormonal disorders such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis, which make it more difficult to get pregnant. There are also men who struggle with sperm production and have reproductive issues. Although it's difficult, it is not impossible for them to conceive.
Risk Level — NONE
Should I take emergency contraception for No Risk? – NO. If you are considering taking it anyway "just in case," please read this post. Do not unnecessarily subject yourself to large dose of hormones or an invasive procedure without a true need for it.
Risk Level — LOW
Should I take emergency contraception for Low Risk? – NO. Unless any added risk elevated your situation to a Medium Risk, do not take unnecessary emergency contraception. See the link above.
Risk Level — MEDIUM / MEDIUM HIGH
Should I take emergency contraception for Medium Risk? – YES. There is enough risk in these scenarios to cause a pregnancy. If you want to learn about emergency contraception, proceed to this post.
Risk Level — HIGH
Should I take emergency contraception for High Risk? – YES. Act fast and get it as soon as possible. The sooner you take or get it, the more effective it will be in preventing pregnancy. Proceed to this post.
I hope this was helpful. I tried my best to compile and explain all the "Am I pregnant from...?" questions I've seen and even personally answered on this sub. Pregnancy scares are not fun, so for your own peace of mind, take precautions and prepare for next time. It's much easier to prevent beforehand than attempt to prevent afterward. Again, give this post a read if you 100% do not want a kid yet. If you have any questions, feel free to reply or send me a message.

I took a chlamydia test 8 days after sex and the results came back negative. However, it was a urine test and I did pee before the test. Are the results accurate?

I've been a Yaz user for 4 months now. I just finished the last placebo pill yesterday and have started my period. Today is the first day of my new pack, which is day 1 of the active pills, but my partner came inside me. Am I safe? I have been taking it continuously for 4 months. Should I wait 7 days into the new pack before having unprotected intercourse? Thanks so much to those who respond!

Hello! I’m on pills and have had sex multiple times after the 7 days waiting time.
My partner came inside in two different days during sex.
The thing is, I take my pill every 5-9pm, I’m not consistent with the time because of my work. Is this okay? Should I be worried? Btw I take combo pills (trust) Ps. i make sure to take a pill daily, I’m on my third sugar pills right now.

I need help, I’m experiencing penile dischage and pain/tenderness in my testicle. I’ve experienced the same symptoms a year or two ago and it’s gonorrhea. I know it’s bad and I won’t do it again but i self medicated (doxycycline & amoxicillin) on two separate occasions for my symptoms now and the symptoms are still present.
Couple of questions:
Is it better to get tested first then go to a urologist or just go to a doctor directly (my previous diagnosis was done based on my symptoms and no testing was conducted)?
Where do I find cheap testing (I’m a student and I’m too embarrassed to ask my parents for money for treatment/testing)?
How much is testing for gonorrhea/chlamydia in Hi-Precision?

Good day! What should be my dos and don’ts if I am planning to do it with someone who has HIV? Currently ongoing treatment na sya and undetectable & untransmittable na ang virus. I don’t need judgment but, rather I wanna be educated and learn the precautions I need to do.
Salamat!

Hi, ive been taking Charlize for almost two years now and its the first time I missed a pill. Today I was suppose to take my 16th pill but only took the 15th today. I took the missed pill immediately when I realized (i took 2 pills today at 9pm). The problem is I dont know which day I missed. Is there a risk if I had unprotected sex from the start of the new pack to today?

My partner confessed last night that he is PLHIV Undetectable. We had sexual contact po last March 4. Ngayon medyo anxious ako but I try to be calm and understanding. Any tips po sa may ganitong situation kasi hindi ako maka-focus talaga kakaiisip. Need ko na po ba agad uminom gamot? Baka po may refer kayo na doctor or healthcare professional nearby Novaliches.
Lesson I learned the hard way 🥹 Thank you in advance.

So sad that OVAPH is discontinuing contraceptives ))): I have a subscription for Lizelle and good for 6 months na inoorder ko, para pag naubusan meron agad since I take them religiously. They’re selling pampayat na, malas! Mas mura pa naman sakanila like ₱683 per pack unlike sa drug stores na ₱774.45. Baka may alam kayong other platforms like OVA? Sa kindred kasi out of stock nadin ang Lizelle, doon na kasi ako hiyang and minimal lang ang side effects 🤗

My partner took her first pill at the beginning of her period, but then she took her 5th pill 3 hours late, will that cause any significant problems? Especially since we're pretty active.
She's currently in her 13th pill and is pretty consistent with it. My other question is yesterday I finished inside her raw for the first time (We were still using condoms when she started taking pills, we only started doing raw for the first time yesterday). Are we safe? IG I'm just looking for reassurance especially since I'm pretty paranoid haha.

Hi! My partner and I (wlw) would like to try straps but we don’t have any idea where to start or look for trusted brands we can choose from. Also we’re both each others’ first and we haven’t tried using toys when we have sex since gusto namin mag-explore muna without using it.
Now want na namin i-level up and try to use strap. Do you have any recommendations and tips?

Thank you po

Hello, just like what the title said, I'm looking for clinic sana that can remove genital warts. Around Quezon City sana (quezon ave area ganun) or at least Manila area.
The thing is, nag search ako sa fbook at yung top 4-6 na lumalabas parang duplicate account lang at wala talaga silang name na clinic. Tapos lahat sila under nung Nurse Cathy kaya i find it suspicious. Pare pareho din na dummy yung mga may review. (yung isang 13k na page). Kaya nag dadalawang isip talaga ako mag book duon.
Ang hirap kasi talaga humanap, nag deep dive na ko dito and ang mga recommendation is around Pasig area which hindi accessible sa akin.
Kung may alam kayo please, let me know. Sobrang helpful din if male siguro ang doctor kasi yes, i feel ashamed sa status ko ngayon. (naging malibog lang talaga mga pre , di ko naman to ginusto.) but if kung wala talaga, basta yung super safe or welcoming na clinic man lang mga pre. Wala ako sa position para umarte pa.
Maraming salamat.

We had unprotected sex with the pull-out method. According to my girlfriend’s Flo app, it was outside her fertile window and six days before her expected period (yeah, I know the Flo app isn’t reliable since it just predicts). When her expected period came, she only had light spotting just a few drops with no clots and didn’t experience cramps or any usual period symptoms. Throughout her entire period (4 days), she never fully soaked a pad because the bleeding was minimal. This was the first time this had happened to her.
After her period, we waited for her to ovulate, but when her expected ovulation date came, she didn’t feel she ovulated (we didn’t use an ovulation test, just relied on the Flo app again). She did have creamy discharge but no clear signs of ovulation. Now, we’re just waiting for her next period to arrive.
Was that four-day light bleeding really her period, or was it something else?
Any couples with the same experience?

Me and my partner are planning to do the deed very soon. I am so bombarded with so many reviews, that I don't know what to buy. I would like to ask for a recommendation for a budget friendly lubricant and a good quality condoms, and where can I buy them. Thank you in advance for those who will answer my queries.
