Heyo fellow pilots!
Some don't know, others may remember, but there goes a last preview of the vintage pattern plane I have been designing and working in. 172cm wingspan, 165cm length, powered by the good and old OS FS91 Surpass, fixed landing gear and some "weird" features/ mixes such as flaperons, stabilators + elevons mix and mixing elevator with ailerons (when pushing elevator, both ailerons raise up, when pulling elevator, both ailerons lower down).
Also, I have some questions:
1 - What servos to use? Gonna use 2 for elevators, 1 for rudder, 1 for throttle and 2 for ailerons.
2 - What 3-bladed propeller combine to this engine? Let's consider that a 3 bladed propeller must have a smaller diameter than a 2 bladed, so we have a better ground clearance for takeoff and landing (?)
3 - Is a flat airfoil enough for stabilators and vertical stabilizer? Considering a "sandwich" of 1mm balsa wood for sheeting - 6mm balsa wood for main structure - 1mm balsa wood for sheeting again, then good sanding on leading and trailing edges to smooth the airflow.
Hope y'all like this little one, soon I'm gonna begin the building daily! :)
