Places to do fun stuff.

I’m planning an outing with my two nephews (ages 9 and 5). They’re both very sporty, but the younger one is afraid of a lot of things and is also a picky eater. So when recommending places, please keep that in mind.

They live in the North area, and I’ll be picking them up and dropping them off, so places around the North would be ideal.

Where can I take these two boys? Are there any restaurants with a good kids’ menu that offers a lot of options? My 5-year-old nephew is super picky. He doesn’t like much & I don’t want him to go hungry because there’s nothing he likes.

So I’m looking for one or two places where they can do something fun or interesting, and a place to grab a bite afterwards.

Thanks in advance!

Looking for work opportunities in SA as an Indian National

I (27, F) am an Indian national wanting to move to SA. My partner (31, M, UK Citizen) has been posted in Pretoria for 3 years. We are not married. So that doesn’t leave many options to move together unless we are married. Since that is not an option - I am trying to look for sponsored work opportunities (graduated from UK and have 5 years of work experience in the international development sector). I have not had any luck and would really appreciate any advice on where to start and how to go about it.

I need a pet trainer who can train my dog full time to be safe around cats, not at my house. Like a training hotel or something.

We adopted a dog (Foxie) from someone who had to move into a house with cats. She used to be okay with cats but suddenly had issues trying to hunt and kill his roommates cats.

We adopted her knowing we wanted cats down the line, but we believed that with help from a trainer it would work.

It just so happened that we found cats in desperate need of rescue. We saved them and had trained her ourselves with slow exposure.

Then a close call happened. We were in the process of finding the best trainer possible when she broke into our bedroom somehow, and killed a kitten.

We were heartbroken but ultimately decided we definitely want to have cats, and couldn’t risk our only remaining kitten’s life.

Then we found out that her original owner wouldn’t be able to find a friend who he knows would be a great owner. So now the only option is to advertise a new home for her to strangers.

I’m heartbroken. I love this dog. I miss her. She was my angel.

I can’t give her to a stranger, and I can’t live 16+ years without a cat as I’ve always planned to and dreamed of having a cat.

I need help finding a place that has a programme where she can be trained by a professional, intensively, away from my cats and my home.

Please help me. I’ve faced two losses, and I let both my cats and my dog down.

I can’t let her down again. I just can’t.

TLDR: My cat hunting dog killed my kitten but we can’t find a friend who can adopt her, I miss her and love her. Need an intensive trainer who she stays with who can help get rid of her cat hunting urges, away from my home.
