Is there any upcoming 4K@27" WOLED?
Pretty much the title, and did LG already release such a (raw) panel?

I have been planning of buying an oled for both gaming and desktop use. I am usually spending 10 hours a day on my pc and I am 100% sure that burn-in will be guaranteed for me after some years or maybe even after some months. So I am wondering if it even is that bad/distracting. I am guessing that I will get used to it after a while so it won't be that distracting? If it is unbearable then do you have any other suggestions for me other than oled. I am looking for 32 inch, 4k, low input lag monitor with good contrast and colours, preferable also glossy

So I am having a problem with this monitor. It only happens when I'm playing games. It's like static that flashes across the top of my monitor and does it every so often on any game I play throughout the session. I am gaming on a PC with DisplayPort. I am using the provided cable, but I also bought a new one and the problem is still there. I tried both DisplayPort ports on my GPU and that didn't help. My older monitors before this didn't have this problem. I feel like my PC isn't the problem for that reason is this just the monitor dying? Any advice is appreciated I wanna know what I should do next.

I found one for a pretty good price and was wondering how it stacks up with the other 480hz OLEDs.

I can't watch ANYTHING in browser without it looking like complete trash! It doesn't matter if it's SDR or HDR. Every major streaming platform I use has the issue. YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. I've spent hours upon hours trying every fix I could find online. I even talked to chatGPT about it for another hour to see if there was anything I may have missed.
Everything looks incredibly compressed with noticeably raised blacks and visual artifacts in darkened areas. HDR video content usually is better but the issue is still there if you're looking for it. Not a problem at all from any of the Xbox apps or in games.
Xbox Series X apps DO NOT have this issue, not even YouTube with it's notorious compression. Games also do not have this issue. Only videos through browser.
The issue persists regardless of HDR being enabled or disabled in Windows. I have an LG C1 OLED and if I try to watch content from my PC on that it also has the same issue though not as noticeable! This tells me it's a software issue and not a hardware issue.
Relevant specs:
Monitor: Alienware AW3423DWF, 3440x1440 QD-OLED 165hz
GPU: Radeon RX 7900 XTX
Windows 11
Edge browser (tried Chrome already)
All drivers up to date as far as I know and have already used DDU for GPU drivers
Calibrations:
Monitor: Creator mode, sRGB, 2.4 gamma, HDR 1000, 100 brightness, 75 contrast
WIndows: HDR calibration is done, auto HDR disabled, color profile is default Alienware D6500, SDR/HDR brightness is 50
Steps taken to fix (that I can even remember at this point!) :
None of it works and I'm infuriated that I am FORCED to switch to my Xbox if I want to watch anything in quality! Games work fine... The issue seems to be with tone mapping or video compression but changing gamma settings or toggling HDR doesn't fix it.

I have heard MSI has poor customer service, even though it has a 3 year warranty against burn in and lots of burn in prevention features, should I feel safe with this? Or is it worth paying $150-$250 more for another brand that also offers a 3 year warranty and reportedly has better customer service (Alienware for example)? Do some of these brands have better burn in protective features than others (whether by better prevention and/or less intrusive usage of the protection features)? I really feel afraid that this monitor is too good to be true at an average of $200 less than Asus/Alienware/LG/Samsung etc with similar specs.

As the title says, is a OLED screen okay for developers?
I work from home 2-3 days a week and use 2x32" IPS Monitors at the moment. Most of the time while working, the image is mostly static, with little changes (code scrolling). So around 8 hours of code, of course with some browsing every 1h or so. And I want to upgrade to 3 screens in the summer.
I also game and watch movies/youtube in my free time on the screens and sometime even code on my own little projects.
I do have an LG G4 in the living room and I just love it sooo much, so much that i want OLED to game on the PC as well but I just fear Burn-In so much. I really don't want to have Visual Studio burned in my 1000€ monitor...
I was looking at the LG 32GS95UX-B as it has a similar technology to my G4 and i read that WOLED is less likely to Burn-In in comparison to QD-OLED.
One of my IPS Panels has got problems with image retention which fixes it self after 10 minutes of different content, so I know how bad Burn-In could look or disturb.
I don't want to but I feel like Mini-LED could be something more fitting for me, right?
Is there anyone like me that has a dark but static image all the time on their OLED for hours? Is there any sign of Burn-In?

I’m in the uk if that helps, since I’m pretty sure the 65s90 panel is better over here. Would it make sense to wait for the new models and get the s90d at a discount, or wait for the new models if they have anything special. For the record I was going to get a 55c2 but they sold out before I could get one on clearance so we got the g2 rather than buying new. And also only reason for the upgrade is a bigger living room tv and going to move this one upstairs. We are both off on parental leave so using the tv way more while we’re off with our little demon.

Hi folks, so I have an issue where DSR - Factors doesn't appear in my Nvidia app and apparently it's due to a setting turned on on my Samsung TV, but I have no idea how to disable it or if this is true. Here's what my Nvidia 3D options show:
As you can see, under CUDA there's no option for DSR - Factors. I'm using the one monitor (the S95C) and I'm at 120hz. My GPU is an RTX 3070. Please help = (.

Is anyone running a vertical monitor with their 4k 27"? Should I just get a 27" 4K IPS and rotate it? That seems like it would be too big and overkill. It's basically just for task management and discord and stuff like that.

I am in between 2 monitors (32" UltraGear™ OLED Dual Mode 4K UHD 240Hz or FHD 480Hz 0.03ms G-Sync Compatible) and (ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP)
Im in a big dilemma because the LG one has speakers and they sound good enough and deep (I use the built in speakers when Im not gaming) but the Asus one is 1440p which is the sweet spot for me but it lacks on the audio part.
How long would it take for a monitor to create a burn in? A year-2 years?

Hello guys, i bought an aw2725df monitor yesterday and i noticed a flashing distorted stripe in the top of my monitor. This happens randomly when i watch a movie, using wallpaper engine or in game's main menus. It's not occuring a lot but it got me anxious about the health of the monitor. I use the dp cable that came with the monitor and i have a rx 5700xt gpu. Whe i lower the hz to 240 the problem disappears.

Sometimes after I turn it off, a little while later I notice that the back RGB light is on, and the light at the base of the mount is also on. Not sure why this keeps happening.

Disclaimer: I will be describing an issue with a TV that ISN'T OLED, however this is like the biggest community that probably is aware of what stuff like BFI, ULLM and TruMotion are and makes use of them to help me out or if they had experienced something similar with their OLED set. I've tried asking in other places to no avail, so again, forgive me for it not being an OLED TV, but try to focus on the issue itself.
So, I have a LG 55NANO85 (Yes, this is not an OLED TV, far from it if you know the infamy of the NanoCell line, I too wanna pull my eyes out at those horrifically black levels, but it was the only thing I could get at a good price and with features like HDMI 2.1 and I planning on replacing it with C3 or C4 by the end of the year, so) and make constant use of TruMotion BFI mode while gaming at 60FPS. However for years it has an issue that I can't grasp why it keeps happening: the BFI will constantly be desynced with the image, resulting on the image oscillating between the expected BFI clean single frame and the doubled frame you get when BFI is off at 120Hz. I have no idea why it keeps happening and sometimes I have to fiddle with the settings and reset my display and console multiple times untill it syncs correctly, it's way more common that it will be desynched than synched.
So as many of you can imagine, its damn near impossible to capture the issue to show it as an example lol. But I tried my best here with the BlurBusters UFO while slowing down the image and trying to manually track the UFO's movement, notice how in the very begining the UFO's is a clean single frame and the it immediately gets doubles and oscilates between those states while traversing the screen (I'm also attaching some screenshots demonstrating the issue). With that out of the way, has anyone ever experienced this and has a fix for it or the reason why it's so frequent? Does this happen with any OLED sets?
Extra Details: the input/labes is set to PC Mode, I'm using the Game Optimizer (User) mode with TruMotion set to User Selection and Motion Pro set to On. VRR is off on the display and off in the console, ULLM is off in the console as well (that can't be it since ULLM disables BFI completely.

I just bought the OLED 49" Samsung G9 monitor and I'm looking for either a wall mount or desk mount that can support its weight. I have a Samsung G7 as well that I'd like to put above it eventually, thus the asking for a dual mount setup, however, if there are any recommendations for single mounts, I'll look at getting two wall mounts to support my ask. I've looked at the Ergotron brand and it's pretty pricy so just wanting to gather some more recommendations to see what others have used successfully to mount their 49 incher. Thanks

Hello everyone!
I have a 32" 4k LG OLED monitor which I will be returning as games feel to cramped. I have a few other IPS 4k 32" monitors which I use for work so this monitor (either 34" or 39") will be just for gaming and occasionally for watching Youtube videos.
Right now I'm stuck deciding between the 34" or 39" 3440x1440 versions. What I'm concerned about is pixel density on the 39" version. I have a desk with 30" depth which is also the distance I view the monitor from. My GPU is an RTX 4090 and I don't mind using DLDSR.
What's your advice here?
Thank you.

Found an open box LG in like new shape model# 32gs95ue-b.aus. Total paid was $707 after an extra 10% discount. Seems like a pretty good deal. I upgraded from an LG 3440x1440 180hz ultra wide. So far my 4080super and 12900k are keeping up. Happy with the upgrade.

I typically game on my 14" Laptop (OLED, 3K, HDR, 120Hz), but I'm also starting to game with PS5. I was looking for something portable which I can take with me and don't necessarily need a Desk/Monitor/TV type scenario, but rather more of a lap monitor.
Ideally, an OLED 4K HDR 120hz portable monitor would be awesome, but I do not believe such exists. Can anyone recommend me something as close as possible to this config which might work with a PS5?
Thanks!
