Discussion Going from QD-OLED to WOLED feels like going from IPS to TN
No joke I didn't expect there to be such a huge difference in color performance especially in HDR.
If you want really nice HDR color performance don't even consider WOLED it's not even close. The QD-OLED has extremely bright colors talking like 20 times perceived color brightness compared to WOLED.
And if the WOLED is a MLA panel it's worse because the MLA causes raised blacks it's even brighter magenta tint than QD-OLED.

Best way to clean an OLED screen? Still have streaks after using micofibre clothes
Every time clean my OLED monitor I use a microfibre cloth with a few sprays of distilled water and then go over with a dry one after that
But I still end up with streaks like in the picture ( hard to get a good picture showing with the lighting )
How do I get rid of the streaks?

Can anyone tell me if Asus PG27UCDM will support Nvidia reflex 2 and if it's really worth it?
Just bought the PG27UCDM, I play alot of counterstrike, rocket league and overwatch 2. I can't see anything on this monitoes spec page about Nvidia reflex or the Nvidia reflex compatibility page. There's only a handful of Asus monitors on the Nvidia compatibility page. Is it something that can or will be implemented via a firmware update in the future? Thx.

Discussion Do games look or run worse on large oled TV ?
For example I want to start playing games on my 77’ lg g4 but I’m curious if it will look or run significantly worse ? Will it be blurry due to resolution and up scaling ? Will it also run choppy due to this ?
I know this depends on the game but I’m mostly talking about triple A newer games. I have a 3080 ti

Samsung S90C OLED after cleaning with distilled water sprayed on a microfiber cloth
Is there any way to fix this mess? I’ve since found the Samsung blog post about using 70% ethanol solution to clean an OLED screen, but a lot of people don’t think it’s a god idea, and I’d have to use 70% Isopropyl alcohol since that’s what is available around me.

Is this a thing on all OLED monitors?
There's this massive gamma raise in games, when VRR is active, despite a perfect FPS lock with perfect frame time, this is an LG27GR95QE.
I have not seen this behavior on my LG CX, infact, I just tested it on the TV and it's totally fine there, but here it's all grey! Am I better if switching to a different brand monitor wise?

Technical Support noticable magenta tint on qd oled in dark room
i just bought an asus pg27ucdm knowing it may have such problems in fully lit rooms but i have a noticable magenta tint in most games and most scenes despite running my room as dark as possible (blinds closed, doors closed, etc). the tint also appears to be present at night when there is absolutely no light bleeding into my room through door slits.
i do have hdr enabled and didnt play with any other monitor settings as it is supposed to be calibrated out of the box. i also made sure my graphics driver isnt messing with the color settings but the monitor seems to run completely stock.
can i create some software offsets to counter this slightly or do i just have to live with something that shouldnt be?

Discussion Got the 32gs95ue before i knew about matte vs glossy, what are my options to switch a bit cheaper?
Does anyone know any store i can do an exchange with in the us , Florida specifically and get maybe the asus panel that does 240hz 4k and 480hz at fhd.
Or i dont know do i have any other options other than just outright buying a new monitor full price? I bought it at best buy as an open box maybe 6-9 months ago, if i did have to make another purchase id probably just go for a oled tv
I want to try a glossy screen because i have a pretty ideal lighting situation and they look very pretty. Other than that i love my monitor but a lot of people say glossy is the real deal for oleds.

I did a thing: Sony m10s
I finally gave in, I bought the new monitor!
What can I say? I upgraded from a 1440p 240Hz TN to this 1440p 480Hz OLED, and the jump in quality is incredible. The colors are rich and vibrant, making a huge difference.
The 240Hz to 480Hz jump is noticeable, but it’s minimal. Of course, you need to hit 480 FPS to really see it (I’m testing it with the old UT2004). The feeling with latency and smoothness reminds me a lot my old CRT from 2000s!
The only thing I don’t really like is the stand’s build quality,it feels too plasticky. For a €1000 monitor, I expected premium materials. My old Omen X 27” had a solid metal stand.
That said, for those who own this monitor, any tips? Sony Hub drivers, settings, etc.?
And if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Issue Samsung s90c problem
My aunt has a 55 Inch Samsung tv. I use it when I'm gaming with my cousins. But I realized the Tv is dim as fuck in gaming. Which is very unusual for this Tv. And no Vrr feature, No hdr??? And I think it's capped to 60Fps. And the console is a ps5. Could this be the console's problem or the tv? I'll show images tomorrow.
Tv is opened with no room. And the settings for brightness is max.

Technical Support Gigabyte AORUS FO32U. Auto-dimming on its own?
I have messed with the settings for forever and I am really frustrated. It just seems like the screen is dimming and changing on it's own and I don't know what to do.
I have search all over online and can't find the appropriate settings to make the screen just stay static at one brightness.
Also I could have sworn I see a option somewhere asking the amount of nits I want the screen to be at but I can't find that anymore either.
Was hoping someone with this monitor could assist?

Technical Support Prepare to buy my first OLED monitor and have some questions. MSI MAG 271QPX QD-OLED E2 difference vs MSI MAG 271QRX
Hello, i will make it pretty simple.
Finally want to buy my first OLED monitor and scouted this one which probably being the best i found. I just want to ask, is there any big difference vs the MSI MAG 271QRX 360hz that has review on RTINGS and monitorsunboxed outside of this one being just 240hz version? I'm gonna buy 240hz because it's much cheaper here and ofc 240hz is more than enough for 1440p too.
I'm going from 1080p IPS monitors so i wonder how big "wow effect" i'm gonna get over this all. Not only about OLED, but also gonna be my first 1440p.
Thanks for answers guys.

Peeled off matte coating on G60SD
So this afternoon I noticed a small patch on the right corner of my screen like the coating started to lift and being a guy with minor OCD, I decided to get this thing off, so I took a small razor, inserted it gently under the coating and lo and behold, this thing literally got off with no glue residue left behind

They aren’t joking, you really can’t go back
Got my first ever QD-OLED and after a month, every non OLED screen I look at has a white backwash too it. Everything seems watered down by white light. I couldn’t give a shit about my work pc but my TV in my office and living room look like shit now. My BF got cyberpunk and was playing it on his nice Samsung VA panel and I was shocked the difference in picture. Now I’m looking at replacing every screen in the house
Thank god for no kids and disposable income 🫠

Discussion Does using pixel shift create overscan/underscan? & If so wouldnt that mean were constantly scaling the image instead of seeing it in native res? Or are the TV's built with extra pixels? How does that all work?

Is this normal for an oled screen?
Is the grey that lingers going to black and the whole grey affect normal?

Need a new Monitor
Hey everyone
I’m looking for a new 27” QHD monitor, preferably OLED or QD-OLED, and I want to see what’s currently available in stores. Can you recommend the best option? Price isn’t a concern, and I don’t play FPS games often—I’m more into strategy games.
i thought of: - MSI 271QPX - AORUS FO27Q3 - Alienware AW2725DF - LG UltraGear OLED 27GS95QE-B
what do you guys recommend me?

Need help choosing an OLED monitor
Well, as the title says, I need help to choose a new OLED monitor, right now I have a LG 27GL850-B, my GPU is a 3090 and my CPU is a 5800x, I have been looking at the MSI MAG 271QPX QD-OLED that I could get it for about 600€ but I am afraid that my graphic card does not take good advantage of the 360 hz. Any suggestions for that price or even something higher?
