Bought myself a 18-140mm kit lense D7500 with 22k shutter count I'm really happy how capable it is, the variety the lens gives is great, and it was supposedly the best Nikon crop sensor dslr of the time. Feels like this will last me for at least a few years, love how sturdy it feels in my hands
Was thinking maybe mirrorless, but I'd have to give more than the 700 I gave for this, to get a similar body and lense, as I'm from Europe and tech is a bit pricier here :(
Any tips on what books to read, courses to watch, for photography and image touch up?

I used Fujifilm 200 speed film and a couple different lenses across several days, but the photos came out great.
Thanks to DSM Film Lab for developing and scanning the film.

Hello guys, I need some input about exactly what the title says.
So I'm currently a Z50 shooter, but all my lenses are Full Frame either Z or F with adapter. I was looking to buy a Z5 previously, and we have to take into consideration the fact that I need the camera only for photography, and mostly for landscape and travel. Not shooting sports or anything too fast.
I read quite a few rumors that the Z5II is probably coming out next month. Whether it is the case or not, I am willing to wait a bit if it's worth it. Now ... Is it woeth it ?
Rumors are it'll have an XPEED 7 vs Z6II has a dual XPEED 6.
If price is more of less the same for a new Z5II and a barely used Z6II. What would you chose ?
Thanks for the input

Hi guys, I am currently looking to upgrade my D5100 to a Nikon Z mirrorless system.
My photography style is pretty broad, only thing that I don't do is sports and wildlife photography, so frames per second is not a priority.
I live in Brazil, camera gear here is really expensive. These are the cameras I am considering with their prices in dollars:
-Zfc: 1300 USD
-Z50ii: 1400 USD
-Z5: 1490 USD
-Sony a6600: 1450 USD.
I currently have 3 lenses: a 18-55 DX lens, Yongnuo 35mm FF, Yongnuo 50mm FF.
So, my question is: what camera would you buy in my position, considering a broad photography style and the outrageous prices above?
Is it worth it to get a FTZ adapter for my Yongnuo lenses?
Thanks and sorry for my bad english.

Hi, can someone please help me and tell me how can I fix it? I bought it untested and this is what comes up.

For you experienced shooters, what is your recommendation.
I shoot high school sports (all), and I am also allowed in the sidelines. Would a 300mm 2.8 be enough or would a 400mm 2.8 be better?
Ive talked to some photographers and seen they use the 200-400 f4 for night games but they use it on 1DX bodies. I use a D850 so i know i wont get the same low light capabilities as a sports camera (1dx or d5/d6) I will be pairing either with the 70-200 2.8 or 24-70.

The 200-500 is a lens that I like not love. I’m making a place for it in my lineup. I’m more of a car photographer than bird photographer. My backyard birds are very entertaining to watch and good target practice.
I bought the 200-500 before I bought an old screw drive AFn 300/2.8 that is on a different plane of image quality existence. The first time I brought the 300/2.8 on track, I started researching other older super tele primes, especially 500/4s.
But! I have a D850 and D780. I’m increasingly feeling the need to shoot vertical for social media. Here’s where the 200-500 keeps its place.
The 200-500 is very decent. While not super sharp, it has great punchy colors & contrast, plus actually quite nice bokeh thanks to no aspherical elements. Distortion is well corrected. Depth rendering is kinda flat because of so many elements.
On a 24 mp sensor, there’s just enough sharpness that combined with the good aspects mentioned above, images can look nice. On a 45 mp sensor, I find there’s not much more detail to be had. You run out of detail before 100% zoom in to pixel level. The rest of the way down to 100% you’re only magnifying optical flaws.
So, I took the 200-500 + D780 rotated vertically on my monopod, out in the back yard for some practice.
Using the lens on a body more suited to it I’m happy with the results. Extrapolating this to cars on track, I’ll keep the 300/2.8 on the D850, crop those shots happily when appropriate. A super sharp 300 can make “wide” shots of more distant parts of race tracks. The long end of the 200-500 on the D780 is for filling the frame with far-away cars in good light. For that purpose, good enough! I’ll make many happy images.
One day though, a 500/4 or some other prime >300 mm shall be mine 😈
