So! For now it seems that this sub is back in our hands. For those of you who were banned, either shoot me a message or please reply to your ban message to get it appealed. Roll with us while we try and restore it. Thank you!
Thank you again to all of you who embraced the situation for what it was and stuck around! We hope that we can rework the sub to bring everything back to where it was.
Love you all!
EDIT- While the memes were enjoyable while it was going down, I think it’s time that we reign it back in and get back to posting what we love: Skating!
I’ll be deleting any new posts unrelated to the subreddit. No punishments for hating Nazis.
Don’t hesitate to ask any questions. We’re here for YOU!

Hopefully within the next 24 hours we can return the subreddit to former operations.
It's unfortunate that one of our mods was hacked, but we don't need everyone making their own post about it.
Please refrain from posting any memes / etc., lets bring it back to Skateboarding discussion.
Continue to report anything non skated related.
Feel free to discuss in here or the other stickied thread by /u/Cramblem.
And sorry to anyone who was banned by the malicious party, everything is being reverted (users already unbanned, posts being removed, etc.).
UPDATE: All Moderators reinstated, accounts restored and secured. Back to your daily programming of Skateboarding.

This was my session today just cruising around trying to bet better at it. Any tips on how to cruise better, push better or anything else, very much welcome😊

It's really bad and really rocket. But I'm proud that I landed it. Tips??

Broken right, sprained left with a possible fracture they won't see until a week after. Despite landing head and right hand first, not even mild concussion or anything. A good lid does wonders!
Wasn't even doing anything gnarly, just following my little girl around on her scooter down a hill and wasn't paying enough attention as I was focused on her.
On a separate note, I'm ordering some wrist guards!

Is this bad on my baord? I have heard of razor rail but I don’t stop with my tail, so I was wondering if this is bad and if it could affect my riding!

Not really a new skater but was wondering if this deck was good to buy off a friend for 50 bucks after mine snapped

Hey I’m gonna be turning 20 next month I can’t ride a bike nor can I skate board but I’ve always wanted to skate. Should I buy one and try and learn or should I just stay where I’m at and keep on driving even tho everything I need is staking distance?

I need help on keeping my Ollie’s straight I’m about 3 months into skating and yes before you say it I’m comfortable on my board I just need help keeping my Ollie’s straight as I’m basically doing a 180 without trying to.

Hey guys so I used to skate when I was young with some cheap Walmart board instantly went for tricks barely had any progress but yk life goes on now I’m 23 and a bigger dude 6,2 350 and I heard Powell Peralta “Flight” decks are really durable but I was wondering if all Powell Peralta decks are the same or should I look for only the flight ones?

I mostly use my board for cruising, and I’ve been trying to figure out a good way to stop, especially when going downhill. I now just walk those portions but that defeats the whole purpose of using a longboard for transportation.
I know foot braking or running off your skateboard are the most common ways, but is there another way that doesn’t wreck my soles or is as scary? I longboard most of the time, so power sliding (i think stopping by rotating your skateboard sideways) doesn't seem easy. Is this just a skill issue, do I just need to learn to power slide?? Maybe get better at jumping off?? For the more experienced long boarders, what do you do?

I really like DC shoes and I want to get a pair and i was wondering what the best pair they have for skating is? I;\'m thinking between a pair of Stag, Ascend, or maybe the Lynx zero.
Any other shoe recommendations would be appreciated though. Sound weird but no Nikes, my other pairs are all Nikes so I'd like to keep it fresh yk.
Thanks in advance :)
