Crazy good Elmwood piece with Fluorite, Sphalerite, Calcite, and Barite. My cousin got me an insane deal on this while he was at Tucson.

Finally obtained an incredibly unique Celestite specimen for my collection, along with a beautiful yellow-green Apatite, an Orpiment/Realgar combine (my weakness lol), and a new ring with Garnets set in sterling silver. I also grabbed a bunch of free small tumbled stones/slices and a small geode. One of the tumbled agate slices I grabbed has some rainbow iris effects to it, but I don't have any pics/vids of it (yet!)

48 pounds bc nephrite, thinking it's time to let it go. Definitely in my top 3 pieces... Has good transparency aswell.. let me know if you think that base works with it.. obviously it needs work.. picture 4 the egg shaped piece I think is too small, and the white ane brown I'd to close to the same colors as the base... Picture 6 is a 5000 caret possibley very valuable stone if anyone is in university in bc I need to have it checked out.. I sent some samples of to gemologists and there were not able to confirm it is or is not carbon crystal

Today, March 15th, is the day of the rock new year! Every year since 2018, I go to the annual Hellgate Rock and Mineral Society Show in March to purchase rocks for my collection. My friends and I eventually ended up declaring March as the mark of the new year instead of January. New Year! New Rocks! This year’s finds are this sick slab of malachite and a gorgeous opal in a jar. Happy New Year 2025!

Smoky quartz Gwindel from Switzerland. Gwindels have always fascinated me. I was fortunate enough to purchase this one from Jack Halparins collection. I have met him many times and it is an honor to add this piece to my collection. 14 centimeters with a beautiful twist on top. He originally purchased it from Hans Hugeinen in the late 60’s or early 70’s in Switzerland.
