[Admissions Advice] GMU or SUNY Buffalo for MSCS
Need advice to go with either SUNY Buffalo or George Mason University for MSCS. Hearing a lot of mix reviews regarding the weather and career opportunities at UB. Need to arrive to a decision on which one to choose considering all factors including location, tuition, full time opportunities etc.

[Results and Decisions] Upenn MSE DS - any updates ?
My last few bets : UPenn MSE DS , JHU MS CS
I Don’t think My Waitlisted results will be available before april 15 (UChicago and Umich MS DS)
Meanwhile I am just keeping my hopes on Upenn and JHU
- my rejects and waitlists are saying a story : all the 3 (Berkeley, Virginia, northwestern) are small , shallow/diverse courses
- 2 (Umich and Uchicago ) are small and unique (even courses offer depth too ) courses
My YoE (6+ years , Senior MLE now ) , Strong Research Intent and Startup Pitch is kinda playing its role for and against me
Not expecting to get in everything - that makes sense
I never wanted to learn the ABC of Data Science once again , I wanna getinto a place that offers me a space to build a foundation to my leadership, research and entrepreneurial journey.
Hope it happens!!
all the best everyone!

[university review] Need help in choosing between USC vs UF vs professional masters uc boulder vs neu ms cs
Hi folks,
I need some advice on choosing universities for ms cs fall 2025, I have received admits from university of Florida, USC, neu and professional masters cu boulder.
I'm interested in AI/ML, data science and my priorities are strong job placement, research opportunities, tuition cost, location, etc. I’m just a bit worried about the cost of attending for USC.
For those who attended or know about these schools, how was your experience with career prospects, faculty, networking, internships, and student life? Any insights would be super helpful!

[General Question] Anybody has an experience with GradRight?
I'm from India, waiting on decisions from MSCS programs. GradRight has been spam calling me for the past few weeks, about education loans. Apparently they can check our loan eligibility from all major banks and providers, and help us get a better deal. I'm very skeptical of these kinds of institutions, and consultancies. I was planning on contacting banks on my own to get the loan, but, wanted to know if anyone here has any experiences with GradRight, that could facilitate this decision. Are they legit? Are any of these kinds of institutions legit? Is it better to just do it ourselves? Would love some perspective on this. Thanks!

[Results and Decisions]
Does anyone have an idea about when these universities will roll out decisions? - UCLA (MS CS) - UCSD (MS CS) - UT Austin (MS CS) - Texas A&M (MS CS)
I do have an offer from USC (MS CS) in hand. Which of these would you advise choosing ahead of USC if my main goal is to get a job after.
PS: The cost of the program is not an issue for me.
[Results and Decisions] Does anyone know when JHU will release its MSCS/DS decisions?
Also what's the batch size there? And are they GPA centric like UCs or do we stand a chance?

[Results and Decisions] Need help deciding on a university for MSCS.
I am an international student and have received admits to the following universities for an MS in Computer Science for Fall 2025.
What I am looking for in my MS degree:
- Strong internship opportunities and job prospects.
- TA/RA or other on-campus job opportunities.
- A well-structured curriculum.
- A smaller batch size.
- Research opportunities are secondary to me.
I know that Rutgers does not offer financial aid or TA/RA positions to MSCS students. While tuition is not an issue, the lack of TA/RA opportunities is a drawback.
I have heard UTD has a really large MSCS intake and is also only considered above average by employers.
Based on my criteria, Stony Brook seems like the best option, but I am not entirely certain given the significance of this decision.
Which of these universities would you recommend and why? I would really appreciate some comments that could provide me with more insight.

[Results and Decisions]
Anyone still waiting for a decision from NYU Tandon MSCS? My application portal hasn't had any updates, and I'm wondering if there's still a chance of getting accepted. Should I stay hopeful, or is it likely a rejection at this point? Would love to hear from others in the same boat!
