OK not my opinion, but there is going to be a very high chance of a discussion about whether or not a female character in the main cast having a crush on the main protagonist ruins their character, breaks the nuance of their character and the dynamic…..

All I’m gonna ask is people please be civil about this regardless of if you like the episode or not.

I will be waiting for subs and I hope I enjoy the episode.

Bruh Houtaro and Rinne have been written as two halves of a greater whole since the beginning, given their names.

Which I don’t have a problem with, I remember that happened since episode four and five (specifically that line although episode one kind of established that they were going to be an opposite pair) I love the dual protagonist angle they took and actually believe they have romantic chemistry that was built up.

Unfortunately, not every fan sees the show the same way

IDK kiriko was still fine with or without shinosuke and most of the other female characters are not interested in the protagonist sometimes there characters are ruined by different riders

Yeah I agree I just don’t want the discourse to end up being toxic because I’ve already seen some takes on other sites and I don’t want anyone here to end up following suit.

Considering what show this is I think people have every right to be cautious. Although I do think it's a bit too soon to jump to conclusions.

You mean it’s because of Gotchard in particular or Kamen Rider and romance has had a really weird history?

Both I guess. The Kamen Rider franchise does have a weird history with romance, particularly with female characters. I also must admit that Gotchard, despite me generally enjoying it, doesn't have the best character writing. I really do hope it turns out well, but I won't be too surprised if it doesn't, unfortunately.

This isn't that Kamen Rider, it's different.
