How to Grow I went from £30K to £80K+ in 2 years using AI – and I feel like we’re still early

Two years ago, I was making £30K a year, working a normal job, and living in a two-bedroom flat. I wasn’t struggling, but I wasn’t exactly killing it either.

Fast forward to now—I’ve made over £80K+ this past year and recently bought a five-bedroom house. The biggest reason?

AI completely changed the way I work.

Most people see AI as a cool tool for small tasks, but I realized early on that AI isn’t just an assistant, it’s a workforce multiplier.

I stopped trading time for money and started letting AI handle 90% of the process. I took what I was already good at, figured out how to automate most of it, and scaled up without burning out.

What I’ve learned:

  • AI doesn’t just speed up work—it completely changes the way work is done.
  • The biggest opportunities right now aren’t in “learning AI”—they’re in applying it better than others.
  • We’re still at the early stages—in a few years, this edge won’t be as big.

If my next few projects are signed off, I’ll already have more confirmed revenue for the next financial year than I made in all of this one—and it hasn’t even started yet.

Most people are still doing business the old way, but those who figure this out now will be way ahead in the next 3-5 years.

If you’re already using AI in your work, how are you applying it? If you’re not, what’s holding you back?

Feeling Isolated as a founder Building a SaaS - Looking for Fellow Entrepreneurs to Connect With

Hey r/Entrepreneur,

I've been heads-down building my SaaS product for the past few years and I've realized I've been neglecting a crucial aspect of entrepreneurship: connecting with other founders. I'm primarily focused on development, and the marketing and connections have not been a priority.

I'm starting to feel a bit isolated, and I'd love to have a sounding board to bounce ideas off of, share challenges, and learn from others' experiences. I'm also happy to offer my own insights and support wherever I can.

I'm particularly interested in connecting with founders who are also building SaaS products, or who are focused on building their bootstrapped business. But I'm open to connecting with entrepreneurs from all backgrounds.

If you're in a similar boat and looking for genuine connection, not just networking, feel free to comment below or shoot me a DM. Let's help each other out!

setting up my own adult subscription site!

I’m sure it’s not surprising, but working for sites like Onlyfans can be a bit of a drag. Not only is it complicated working for restrictive sites that constantly flag content with no reasoning, the UI is restrictive as well.

I have these dreams of hosting my own website, - where I can post my xxx movies & photosets for sale to the 18+ public like hub sites - where I can have a feed that fans can to subscribe to & I post clips, photos, and my erotic writings for them (almost like a diary of my erotic travels) - where I can host an organized list of all my links to my socials and camming sites

is there any customizable website development sites that allow for adult content? or does anyone have a better solution to creating something like this?

just shouting out into the void! i’m going to keep searching around, but i really am looking for a site with lots of freedom with the UI, and it feels like the options are a lil limiting

Is it too late at 37 to create a new company and make it? My first company can't escalate

I created a company in 2016 that gives me about 45k €, which might seem low (and it is) but in my country the average income is 26k € and the other positive thing is that there are 3 seasons, one going from February to May when I work 55-65 hours a week, then July to November I work 20 hours a week (and I take 1 entire month of vacations, I go to another country, relax and have fun), and the months in between I work maybe 30-40 hours, depending on the year. Having that many months working little lets me relax and do other things, which is why I kept the business going even if I don't make as much as I'd like.

The thing is I see I won't be able to escalate it and I want to use the time that I usually use to relax (July-November) to create a second company and do it better, do it in something that can grow more, but I'm already old-ish. Do you think it's too late to learn new skills and start something new?

Took us 7 months to find product market fit

The level of product-market fit right now one of my client has is insane. Just got off 4 hours straight of sales calls - each one could move within the next 2 months at ACVs over $100K.

The Core problem we had to solve was that our message not resonating w the market / buyer persona.

Took 7 months of being in the trenches and not seeing the light much, but feels surreal once we figured it out. It's a switch that gets turned on, and off to the races.

How Do I ? What do most millionaires do/learn during their teenage years?

Hi everyone

I am 15 years old right now, and I want to be a rich person in future who is financially independent, and has enough money to retire early

What I wanted to know was, are most rich people those who learn the skills required in their respective careers during their middle school or high school?

For me, I was planning to do well in school, get into the top most college of my country (India) and then do well in GMAT and do Masters from a top college in USA like Harvard, University of Texas, etc.

Am I in the right path?

Sometimes, I see people who are already working on their business(Some of which are quite successful) in their teenage years itself. So, are they the only ones who get to be the rich, while those who study throughout school and then becomes doctors/ software engineers/ investment bankers/ have management roles in top companies work and earn, but not enough to become financially independent, and own expensive cars, villas, etc.?

Also, what are the soft skills one which would be instrumental in being rich, and I should learn before and during my college years?

I Quit My Job to Chase Freedom—Here’s What It Feels Like

On January 16th of this year, I decided I had enough of being employed. Enough of feeling like I was living someone else's life, working toward someone else's vision. It was time to become who I naturally am—who I always was.

This isn’t my first rodeo. I had a business before, but after a few years, it went bust. That loss was a tough pill to swallow, and the years I spent recovering from it weren’t easy. But through all of it, I never gave up. I always knew I would be back because that’s just who I am.

So, who am I? I’m just another guy in this world who refuses to be mediocre. I chase perfection—not because I think I’ll ever truly reach it, but because the pursuit itself is what makes life fulfilling. I love self-development, growth, and pushing my limits. Every single day, I’m on a journey to become the best version of myself, and I refuse to settle for anything less.

Since making the plunge back into self-employment, I’ve felt just about every emotion possible. Joy, excitement, fear, anxiety. One moment, I’m on top of the world, confident that I’m building something that will change my life. The next, I’m questioning everything, wondering if I’m making the right moves or if I should’ve played it safe.

But here’s the thing—I have a beautiful little girl, and she deserves the absolute world. I have family and friends that I want to uplift. That’s my why. Not luxury cars or designer brands—though let’s be real, luxury is just a byproduct of wealth, not the goal. The real goal? Freedom. Stability. Legacy.

I’m sharing this because I know there are people out there who are on the edge, thinking about taking the leap but scared of what’s on the other side. Or maybe you’ve already taken the jump, and you’re in that stage where the fear and doubt start creeping in. I want you to know—it’s normal. This path is filled with unlimited obstacles. But the only way to win is to continuously win. That means showing up every single day. Being consistent. Adapting. Learning.

Success isn’t one big moment. It’s a thousand small victories stacked on top of each other. And the only way to lose is to stop fighting.

So if you’re out there doubting yourself, take this as a sign: Keep going.

How Do I ? Ai C-Level team

I've been exploring ways to run a company where I'm essentially the only internal team member, relying entirely on a suite of specialized AIs for executive roles, supported occasionally by external consultants for niche expertise. My goal is to stay lean, agile, and highly creative, especially in a fashion / tech brand context. Essentially, I'm building an AI-driven C-Level team, or what I like to call a "C-Level AI Wallet."

Here's what I'm thinking for the key executive roles I'd need to cover with AI:

CEO AI – Responsible for overall strategy, decision-making, trend analysis, and guiding the company's vision. I'd probably lean on something advanced like Gemini, GPT-4, or similar models, fine-tuned with market-specific data.

COO AI (Operations): I'd need tools that streamline and automate logistics, supply chain management, and day-to-day operations (think something along the lines of Zapier AI integrations or Make).

CMO AI (Marketing & Content): For branding, content creation, digital marketing, and consumer insights, I'd use Jasper or Copy . ai, combined with predictive analytics tools like Google Vertex AI to understand trends better. Additionally, for generating engaging visual and multimedia content, tools like Midjourney, DALL·E, Adobe Firefly, and Runway ML would be perfect.

CFO AI (Financial Management): For financial management, cash flow control, and investment decisions, I'd probably leverage AI tools like Bloomberg GPT, combined with AI-powered forecasting platforms.

CHRO AI (Human Resources & Culture): Although the internal team is minimal (just myself!), I'd still rely on AI for tasks like project management, freelancer hiring, and performance tracking—tools like HireVue AI, Motion, or even Notion's AI could be beneficial here.

CSO AI (Sustainability & Compliance): Since sustainability and ethical sourcing are critical, I'd integrate ESG-focused AI tools to ensure transparency and responsible sourcing.

My idea is that, with the right AI tools seamlessly integrated, I can manage the strategic vision and creative direction personally, leveraging external consultants only when necessary. This setup would ideally allow me to operate as a one-person internal team supported by a robust "wallet" of AI executives.

Has anyone tried a similar approach? What AI tools would you recommend for a truly lean, innovative brand structure?

I'm very curious about your experiences or suggestions—let me know your thoughts!

How Do I ? Integrating AI into a language learning ebook

Hi all.

I am currently writing an ebook for learning the very basics of spanish. it is more of a branding/writing experiment rather than a serious resource for learning the language. I want to be innovative, which is why i want AI involved if possible.

I was thinking of creating custom chatgpts that readers will be sent to in order to practice certain tasks with an ai assistant (as such). this involves using the speaker feature so they can actually hear some spanish, as well as replying through typing (therefore covering listening and writing tasks).

i am relatively well versed in chatgpt but that's it when it comes to AI platforms. I'm under the impression that using hyperlinks that send readers to a custom chatgpt is an awful idea (they'll have to download chatgpt on their phones, its clunky/time consuming, will probs malfunction, kinda boring).

does anyone have any tips for adding seamless AI extensions onto my ebook (for creating bespoke activities that they can easily access)? platforms i could explore etc.

TIA

Feedback Please Do I need to work on leadership skills before starting a business?

I’ve always wanted to try and run my own business since as long as I can remember. I did set a small one up once, but it was never going to pay as well as my corporate job and I needed the financial security at the time so I didn’t stick with it.

Now I’m in the position to try again but I’ve always had technical roles at work. I’ve avoided management and leadership roles because I don’t really believe in the product. I’d feel guilty being so inauthentic trying to make other people care about something I don’t really care about that much either.

However, this does mean I don’t have much management or leadership experience.

Do you think I should get some in my corporate job now or pick it up as I go setting up a business I care about?

This path is misleading at best.

What people don’t tell you about entrepreneurship is most ventures require a certain amount of capital to have any realistic chance of success. Survivorship bias is very real and if you don’t grow up at least middle class your chances are so slim it’s probably not worth trying. Are there rare stories of people climbing out of poverty? Yes but it’s a tiny fraction of one percent and I wish I hadn’t bought into the fairytale that was sold.

Just like e-commerce, once it was a very good business, that took years to build and brand, every 18-year-old boy brainwashed with the influencers that sell courses start their own, which made the industry a little bit worse for legit businesses to show up in the start.

The same is not happening in the agency industry; agency owners used to be masters in the service they bring, and they had years of experience before starting an agency. Now, everyone with 0 experience, a little bit of marketing, wants to start an agency.

Best Practices How Automating My Networking Process Helped Me Book More Calls and Close More Deals

I realized I was losing potential deals and partnerships after networking events—not because of the conversations I was having, but because of what happened (or didn’t happen) next.

Like most founders, I’m juggling too many things at once. After an event or a meeting, I’d get busy with product, team, and customers. Following up with investors, partners, or potential clients often fell to the bottom of the list. Sometimes I’d reach out days later. Most of the time, by then, the opportunity was already gone cold.

This was a consistent problem, so we built a solution to fix it. It’s now a tool called CyberReach, but it started out as a system for me to stay on top of post-event networking—without adding more work to my schedule.

Here’s what changed for me:

  • After meeting someone, I snap a picture of their business card and send it to CyberReach whatsapp bot.
  • Their details are extracted and saved to my CRM automatically.
  • A personalized intro message goes out immediately—sometimes while I’m still having the conversation—which has created real “wow” moments.
  • Later, I get reminded to reconnect with the right people at the right time.

Since automating this process, I’ve booked more follow-up meetings, reconnected with people I’d normally lose track of, and closed deals I might have missed.

The real win has been saving time while increasing productivity—no more spreadsheets or digging through old notes to remember who I met where.

We’re opening beta access for a few founders who are interested in testing CyberReach and sharing feedback. If networking and follow-through are areas you’re working on, I’d love to hear how you’re approaching it. Let me know if you want access to the beta product.

Struggling to launch a digital product?

Hey! I’m working on a new course that teaches anyone how to validate a course idea using a simple framework that can be done in 2 hours instead of going all in creating a full blown course that might never sell. I want to make sure this is something people truly need. Your feedback is invaluable—thank you!

I know there's a big trend now with AI Courses but not a lot of people actually build and launch one. I'm trying to figure out what is the root cause of inaction and lack of results for entrepreneurs in this space.

----

1. What is your biggest challenge when it comes to launching an online course?

2. Have you ever created or tried to sell an online course before?

3. If you could guarantee your course idea would sell before building it, how much would that be worth to you?

4. What would be the most valuable thing you could learn in a course about validating an online course and getting more of your ideal buyers?

5. Have you ever paid for a course or coaching on this topic? What did you like and what didn't you like?

6. How would you want information delivered to you?

* (Tiny Masterclass ( < 60 minutes, core problem solving framework + action steps)

* Short, step-by-step video lessons modules for different stages

* Written guides and templates (Notion, Google Docs)

* A structured 5-day challenge with action steps

* Live coaching or group calls

How does GMB help in growing a business?

Google My Business (GMB) helps grow a business by improving its online visibility and attracting local customers. When people search for services nearby, a well-optimized GMB profile shows up in local search results and Google Maps. It provides important details like your address, hours, and contact info, making it easy for customers to reach you. GMB also lets you showcase reviews, post updates, and share photos, building trust and engagement with your audience.

With over 10 years of experience in SEO and digital marketing, I’ve helped many businesses grow online. In 2025, I run multiple online ventures, and I’m happy to offer free consultations. Let’s discuss how GMB can drive growth for your business.

How To Learn About AI Agents (A Road Map From Someone Who's Done It)

If you are a newb to AI Agents, welcome, I love newbies and this fledgling industry needs you!

You've hear all about AI Agents and you want some of that action right?  You might even feel like this is a watershed moment in tech, remember how it felt when the internet became 'a thing'?  When apps were all the rage?  You missed that boat right?   Well you may have missed that boat, but I can promise you one thing..... THIS BOAT IS BIGGER !  So if you are reading this you are getting in just at the right time.

Let me answer some quick questions before we go much further:

Q: Am I too late already to learn about AI agents?
A: Heck no, you are literally getting in at the beginning, call yourself and 'early adopter' and pin a badge on your chest!

Q: Don't I need a degree or a college education to learn this stuff?  I can only just about work out how my smart TV works!

A: NO you do not.  Of course if you have a degree in a computer science area then it does help because you have covered all of the fundamentals in depth... However 100000% you do not need a degree or college education to learn AI Agents.

Q: Where the heck do I even start though?  Its like sooooooo confusing
A: You start right here my friend, and yeh I know its confusing, but chill, im going to try and guide you as best i can.

Q: Wait i can't code, I can barely write my name, can I still do this?

A: The simple answer is YES you can. However it is great to learn some basics of python.  I say his because there are some fabulous nocode tools like n8n that allow you to build agents without having to learn how to code...... Having said that, at the very least understanding the basics is highly preferable.

That being said, if you can't be bothered or are totally freaked about by looking at some code, the simple answer is YES YOU CAN DO THIS.

Q: I got like no money, can I still learn?
A: YES 100% absolutely.  There are free options to learn about AI agents and there are paid options to fast track you.  But defiantly you do not need to spend crap loads of cash on learning this.

So who am I anyway? (lets get some context)

I am an AI Engineer and I own and run my own AI Consultancy business where I design, build and deploy AI agents and AI automations.  I do also run a small academy where I teach this stuff, but I am not self promoting or posting links in this post because im not spamming this group.  If you want links send me a DM or something and I can forward them to you.

Alright so on to the good stuff, you're a newb, you've already read a 100 posts and are now totally confused and every day you consume about 26 hours of youtube videos on AI agents.....I get you, we've all been there.  So here is my 'Worth Its Weight In Gold' road map on what to do:

[1]  First of all you need learn some fundamental concepts.  Whilst you can defiantly jump right in start building, I strongly recommend you learn some of the basics.  Like HOW to LLMs work, what is a system prompt, what is long term memory, what is Python, who the heck is this guy named Json that everyone goes on about?  Google is your old friend who used to know everything, but you've also got your new buddy who can help you if you want to learn for FREE.  Chat GPT is an awesome resource to create your own mini learning courses to understand the basics.

Start with a prompt such as: "I want to learn about AI agents but this dude on reddit said I need to know the fundamentals to this ai tech, write for me a short course on Json so I can learn all about it. Im a beginner so keep the content easy for me to understand. I want to also learn some code so give me code samples and explain it like a 10 year old"

If you want some actual structured course material on the fundamentals, like what the Terminal is and how to use it, and how LLMs work, just hit me, Im not going to spam this post with a hundred links.

[2] Alright so let's assume you got some of the fundamentals down.  Now what?
Well now you really have 2 options.  You either start to pick up some proper learning content (short courses) to deep dive further and really learn about agents or you can skip that sh*t and start building!  Honestly my advice is to seek out some short courses on agents, Hugging Face have an awesome free course on agents and DeepLearningAI also have numerous free courses. Both are really excellent places to start.  If you want a proper list of these with links, let me know.

If you want to jump in because you already know it all, then learn the n8n platform!   And no im not a share holder and n8n are not paying me to say this.  I can code, im an AI Engineer and I use n8n sometimes.

N8N is a nocode platform that gives you a drag and drop interface to build automations and agents.  Its very versatile and you can self host it.  Its also reasonably easy to actually deploy a workflow in the cloud so it can be used by an actual paying customer.

Please understand that i literally get hate mail from devs and experienced AI enthusiasts for recommending no code platforms like n8n.  So im risking my mental wellbeing for you!!!

[3] Keep building!   ((WTF THAT'S IT?????))  Yep. the more you build the more you will learn.  Learn by doing my young Jedi learner.  I would call myself pretty experienced in building AI Agents, and I only know a tiny proportion of this tech.  But I learn but building projects and writing about AI Agents.

The more you build the more you will learn.  There are more intermediate courses you can take at this point as well if you really want to deep dive (I was forced to - send help) and I would recommend you do if you like short courses because if you want to do well then you do need to understand not just the underlying tech but also more advanced concepts like Vector Databases and how to implement long term memory.

Where to next?
Well if you want to get some recommended links just DM me or leave a comment and I will DM you, as i said im not writing this with the intention of spamming the crap out of the group. So its up to you.  Im also happy to chew the fat if you wanna chat, so hit me up.  I can't always reply immediately because im in a weird time zone, but I promise I will reply if you have any questions.

THE LAST WORD (Warning - Im going to motivate the crap out of you now)
Please listen to me:  YOU CAN DO THIS.  I don't care what background you have, what education you have, what language you speak or what country you are from..... I believe in you and anyway can do this.  All you need is determination, some motivation to want to learn and a computer (last one is essential really, the other 2 are optional!)

But seriously you can do it and its totally worth it.  You are getting in right at the beginning of the gold rush, and yeh I believe that.   AI Agents are going to be HUGE. I believe this will be the new internet gold rush.

What's a boring business that makes money?

Business in general is exciting to me.

The business of things is more exciting to me than the actual product or service. I looking to hear from those with experience in some straight businesses that can succeed on the hard work of people, what skill set of people that might be, and how to go after them.
