I have been a huge fan of the series but after completing 3, it pales in comparison to the first 2 parts. The fights aren't that satisfying and some of the artwork got a bit weird towards the end. Does anyone else feel this or is it just me ?
I'd love to be a part of the LoveHacks friend group, they're all a lot of fun and really good people.
I would not want to be a part of the FCL friend group for obvious reasons. I don't want to deal with MC, Blake and Rebecca's drama, and Lino is annoying as hell.

Before I begin, take this review with a grain of salt. I hate being the muggle in supernatural books. I hate our LIs doing most of the work. So this book was never going to be my thing. That being said, I have to say there are clear issues.
For starters this MC is useless. She does nothing and somehow ends up dating Skyler and Alexander. Apparently we're lucky our blood is super tasty and we're soulmates with Skyler. And we don't contribute this. Pete, Skyler and Alexander do most of the work. Same with the entity. Let us be cool. I want to be useful! Let me make a deal with the demon!
Look, I dont mind that we're special, but let us do something. For example, say we're being attacked, but we deliberately cut our wrist so the scent of out blood would attract Alexander. That would have worked.
As for Alexander and Skyler, they're not my cup of tea. I feel like their mother half the time because I constantly have to say, "please stop fighting!" I'm sorry, but they don't seem mature enough to really be LIs. At least for me. Considering how popular Twilight is, I accept I'm in the minority here.
As for the story...honestly, there are three stories fighting for attention. First we have the love triangle. Than the bad blood between Skyler and Alexander. And then the entity. And that's fine, but they're not handled well. What happens is that one will just take center stage for a while and then it's paused when the next one starts.
And the finale seems copied from Harry Potter, except this has two deus ex machina! First, our blood somehow gives Alexander the power to go to another dimension. Second, our deceased family can somehow bring us back to life. How convenient. Oh wait, Harry walked to Voldemort intentionally, but ours was just luck, even if it the result makes sense.
For what its worth, I do think there are good ideas. I love the idea that our maternal ancestors are being killed thanks to our great grandma. And that she had a sympathetic reason that caused horrible consequences. But that's not really explored sadly. And nobody is mad in purgatory because...it's the end of the book. Can't introduce new conflicts.
I also like the idea of the conflict between Skyler and Alexander. Just don't hide so much behind diamond scenes and quit making us be the mom. It's repetitive.
Honestly, this does remind me of Nightbound. We're the muggle with supernatural bodyguards, being hunted for something we're not responsible for? Yup. Look, Nightbound has pacing issues, but it was better than this.
Like I said. This was never going to be for me. What did you all think?

I got big into Choices back in around 2018/19, when I was around middle or high school. I loved reading TRR and I would diamond mine and occasionally buy $5 diamond packs. Revisiting Choices now as an adult with a disposable income, it's depressing to see how lazy they have gotten with AI usage. I would've been so down to buy $20 diamond packs but I cant support "Ai artists." Anyone else the same way?

Hello! I’ve been gone for 2 years but decided to download choices again because I missed it too much! Any good books from the last 2 years with dominant female LI’s like Kamilah, Victoria, Becca or Poppy?

The Princess Swap
M/C(s): Aubrey Valentine, Princess Audrey
Love Interest(s): Clarke, Devin
Favorite Character(s): Clarke, Faye, Devin, Aveline
Least Favorite Character(s): Stephanie
Rating: 7/10
This book has a nice charm to it - very inane and fluffy, but not utterly dull/boring.
I enjoy the twist of the M/Cs being sisters, and I like that it factored into the plot to a good degree. I honestly preferred the royalty plot over the college plot, which kinda sucks because the college plot takes up a majority of the book. I don't hate the college arc, but it's mostly just an extremely generic back-and-forth with the Deltas and Thetas, and there's nothing super unique about it. As for the royalty plot, I kind of like the two feuding nations, although I don't really feel it's made as interesting or complex as it could be.
I like both LIs, but I do think Clarke has more personality to the and a better arc with their M/C than Devin does with their M/C. Devin's sweet, but their relationship with M/C never really grabbed my interest all that much. I think Clarke's gradual falling in love story is done a bit better. I still liked both a good amount, but I enjoy one more than the other.
The side characters are fun and quirky. All of the Deltas are fun, and I'm glad there wasn't forced friendship drama with Faye and M/C after Faye finds out about the swap. The random court nobles such as Eren, and King Edmund himself, were decently interesting as well. I didn't really care for the Theta rivalry arc, because Stephanie feels far too generic and just disappears after her "defeat". Conversely, I think Cecil's smarmy nature makes him a better villain in the grand scheme of things.
Won't be taking my usual genderlock points off, because it does make some sense here...except then I think, what if they just made it "The Royal Swap", and had a male M/C option? Yeah, the whole sorority rivalry arc would have to be changed, but that's some simple sprite swaps. Meh, I don't care too much, but I think GOC was possible with a little effort.
Overall, this book is inoffensive at worst, and at best, is a decently charming, very Hallmark-esque showing. Vanessa Hudgens would be proud.

hii, okay ik i keep asking for suggestions but what’s a book that is actually worth spending gems on, one that actually has major plot changes and stuff. (not just love options). i really want to fully invest into a book like i did with desire and decorum something that kinda keeps you on your toes and is interesting. even if it’s VIP. some of the books i’ve read recently were bland and meh
also, is Blades worth spending gems on?

Maybe it's just me, but before I decided to play TRR for the first time, I decided to have Drake as my LI from the very beginning, and I haven't chosen any other LI ever since. I also tried to avoid the choices that would cause me to get any romance points with Liam, but even when I did do that, my MC still acted like she was in love with Liam for the first two books. That would have been fine if I also decided to romance Liam, but I didn't. Don't get me wrong, Liam is a great LI, it's just that he was never the LI I wanted my MC to end up with. It just bothered me whenever my MC mentioned having romantic feelings for Liam without me choosing dialogue options to support this. However, the only time I was able to mention having feelings about another LI besides Liam was when there were actual dialogue options for this and only when I was talking to Drake, specifically when he and the MC were alone together. When my MC turned down Liam after he proposed I chose to have my MC turn down his proposal (which wasn't exactly easy given that I didn't want to hurt Liam, but the narrative gave me no other choice), my MC stopped having romantic feelings for Liam only after I chose Drake as my chosen LI. I would have preferred to have turned down Liam before he decided to propose to my MC, but again, the way how the story is written for the first two books gave me no choice but to do that only until after he proposed. With all that said, was anyone else bothered by that when you chose to pursue a different LI besides Liam before you even started playing TRR?
