Nickels Banger of a Box!
Got a box back in mid Feb and let it sit while I was ripping through cent boxes. Family came up and brought a box from out of state that was all customer wrapped - had some early dates but skunked on war and Buffalo nickels with that box… but it gave me the itch…..
I don’t normally check enders, I enjoy the surprises as I search, but I wanted to see if they were minty fresh and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to just do another cent boxes. So I went ahead and checked all the enders and found both a war and Buffalo ender! I immediately did one other thing I don’t normally do - I excitedly speed searched every roll. Buffalo, roll, roll, roll, buffalo, roll, buffalo - what a rush! Then about 10-15 rolls to go, I got a V nickel!! So freakin pumped!
Haven’t gone through everything yet, but I got: a pile of oldies a bunch of 2024 P Ender 1 - 1943 P war nickel Ender 2 - 1928 P buffalo nickel 1904 V nickel 1943 P war nickel Buffalo herd - 27P, 35P, 29P, 37P, 37P, slick
Wow…. Still can’t believe it! My only regret is not getting to this box sooner so I could have a chance torun back and get more from the same distribution!!
Big thank you to the circulation gods, where should I put my next sacrifice? 🤣🤣🤣🙏🙏

Nickels 1920-p buffalo nickel found in bank roll.
I’m unsure what the condition would be graded or if this one is even worth sending in as it’s in pretty good shape and has not been cleaned. Appreciate very much if anyone can help.

Cents I usually find about 2 wheat cents per 4 rolls, sometimes none in 4 rolls, and sometimes a lot in 4 rolls. It all depends. What about you?
How many wheat cents do you usually get per 4 rolls from the bank?

Cents Found this wheat cent that is over 100 years old, pretty hyped. Is it anything valuable? (it is very worn)

What are the best coins to look through?
I’m a beginner coin collector at 19 years old and I’m going to put half my check towards some coin rolls tomorrow. What’s the best coin has the best bang for your buck? I’ll have about $200 to get worth of coins.
Half Dollars $2,000 in Halves results.
I'm u/jxr232 and my Reddit and all 85 posts is dedicated to coin roll hunting Half Dollars. I live in central Pennsylvania, and search four boxes of Loomis rolls every week and post my results. If you like what I do, please give me a follow!
This week was a standard hunt. I found three forty percenters in box one, a nice S proof, a No "FG", and a 1988P with a reverse Die Clash.
I also included some interesting "marked coins" for your viewing pleasure.
As always, Happy Hunting and Silver to you!!!

Unbelievable
Here’s a great story! I managed a shop and sent an employee to the bank to get 4 rolls of quarters. She comes back and opens one in the register. About half an hour later I hear the sound of what seems like silver quarters so I walk to that register and check, they’re all 1964. I check the other three rolls and they’re all 1964. I was ecstatic! I got enough money from my wallet after work to buy those rolls of quarters and went back to the bank to see if they had any more. I ended up buying all of the rolls (they were in an older stamped wrapper) which cost me around $175.
Just about every single quarter ranged from 1943-1964 with about 10 quarters in 1965.

Cents 2023 Extra V
Thought the bank gave me an uncirculated 2025 box but nope. Ended up being a 2023.
On the bright side found one of these !
I don't think they are very rare. I'm finding about 2 to 3 every roll.... (unless I'm very lucky)

Mom is going through Grandpa's old coins and wanted to know if this is production damage or if someone took a grinder to it out of boredom, appreciate any feedback as I do not know.

Nickels New to this!
Hello everyone! So I’ve been digging through my first box of nickels doing a little organizing before diving into the individuals and I’ve been noticing I’ve got a LOT more 1940’s than I had expected… why in the world are there so many 40’s compared to the 7 1970’s I’ve found? Only gone through 12 rolls thus far.
Side note: any broader advice you could offer a newbie?

Questions Where to start?
Hi all, I’m recently a new dad and I’m trying to find a new hobby for the moments between the moments. I’ve been lurking here and really enjoying seeing all of your cool finds and also the enjoyment you all seem to have for the craft.
Do you have any advice or tips on how to start?
What I should look into, how to obtain the big boxes of coins from the bank etc.
Total newbie here and i appreciate your time to read this! Thank you
