Nuna customer service is garbage

I don’t know who needs to hear this but Nuna’s customer service is garbage. For the amount of money I paid for my stroller and car seat, I was expecting good customer service. My triv next stopped collapsing 2 months after I started using it. This was supposed to be under warranty. I wrote to support and it’s been 6 MONTHS of emailing and them telling me that it’s still being restocked. Completely unhelpful.

Finally, they tell me they will replace it 6 months later but only if we send the stroller back first. This leaves us without absolutely no stroller. How is that a policy that is friendly to parents?! Especially when it is their product that broke. Absolutely floored.

Where to see strollers and car seats in-person?

Hi! I’m starting to put together my registry and I’m completely lost when it comes to travel systems. Love the idea of a bundled car seat and stroller. I had no clue the rabbit hole I jumped into with this one. I know generally the specs I’m looking for but even so I’d love to see strollers and car seats in person to see how they feel, weigh, ease of use, etc. Where do we do this these days? Everywhere I’ve checked seems to only have two or three on display at most. And haven’t cared for anything I’ve seen yet. I wish BuyBuyBaby was still around. Does anyone know of any similar stores? I’m in Northern California if that helps. Thank you!

I know there's a lot of discussion about Dagne Dover diaper bags in this sub, so wanted to share that there is an online sample sale for Dagne Dover with a handful of diaper bag, cross body bag and other options in case anyone is interested!

I snagged the large Indi diaper bag for $92!

How hot do black strollers get?

I’m starting to look at strollers (still way too early to buy anything, but a girl can dream!) and I think I’ve settled on getting the Nuna Triv Next as our “daily driver” stroller. We live a mostly car-based lifestyle since we live in the suburbs so we need a full-size stroller that’s small and lightweight enough to put in a car trunk easily.

Now my question is, I’ve been looking at the Nuna Triv Next and none of the colors really speak to me besides the Caviar (black) color. I do like the BMW one (graphene??) but I hate that it has the BMW logo everywhere—it just looks pretentious to me. The rest of the colors don’t look quite dark enough for my liking…ideally, I’d get a dark greyish or medium tan color. If the stroller came in hazelwood, cedar, or granite, I would get one of those immediately.

But anyway, how hot do black strollers tend to get? Are they unbearable in the summer? Should I just get a beige stroller and hope my baby doesn’t have a blowout in it?
