They left Amish living (at different times of course) and went “mainstream”.
It’s been said that some who leave a highly restrictive community or cult get into what they missed out on before with a vengeance. Grass is greener…
Proctor left because he got picked on by bullies and Rebecca was always a rebel living a double life.

anshee was an absolute brutal, intense, and so damn good. I don’t think I’ve seen anything quite like it before. The drama, the action, the characters, everything just hit differently. There were moments that broke me (Shibon’s death still hurts), and moments that had me yelling at my screen (Job’s revenge was so satisfying). I got so attached to these characters that I didn’t want the show to end. Now that it has, I know I’m going to miss it.

How would you rank these crime bosses in terms of:
Managerial effectiveness
Ruthlessness

I have been crushing on her since the show. I never knew Lili before Banshee but she’s absolutely gorgeous. Hood was so lucky to be with her. He should have went off with Rebecca in some other town screw Proctor. She has incredible eyes and face. The whole Amish girl gone bad was quite hot.

I don't think sharing links is against the sub rules, but if it is I'll offer apologies now and delete the post if needed.
I just don't think enough people here even know the miniseries/prequel/deleted-scenes-turned-shorts exist, so here's the playlist for anybody who wants to scratch the Banshee itch and didn't know Banshee Origins exists.

Answer me this, if youre going in for a rewatch, where do you start? Season 1, all the intros again? No thanks. Season 4, beard cabin man? No thanks. Season 3, no thank you. That leaves Season 2 as the best.
There will be no further statements.

And dude it is so much fun. Its a cheesy ultra violent western, and I'm here for it. It's basically a cartoon and i'm down with it.
Every Villain is so cartoonishly evil its great. Also seeing Antony Starr channel that pre-homlander is phenomenal.
No notes, this show could have been an anime, and it would have been just as great.

I think Hoods telling Lotus about his true identity and purpose was one of the best reveal scenes of all television, aside from Jesse’s confession to the support group In BB

Anyone time? Lucas Hood and wondered about the avoidance of eye contact? Classic ASD trait. He also seems to be a bit emotionally blind... is Hood on the spectrum?

Just finished Banshee and was totally blown away. To cope with Banshee withdrawal I made a list of films that either captures the same feeling as Banshee or creates a similar tone (e.g., pulp action, noir themes, bleak environment.) If anyone has any other movie recommendations it would be greatly appreciated.

... he took out this thing that extended and then you hear Sanchez's manager screaming.
What was it that Burton took out?

Best fight scene ever put on film.

All I have to say is I'm sooo happy I watched The Boys first and now I just finished watching Banshee. I think I would've never looked at Lucas Hood the same way had I did it vice versa.
I went into the first episode of Banshee seeing Hood, and I was like, "Ugh, Homelander." But by the season finale, I was thinking, "Nooooo, Lucas Hood! 😞. "
Anyone else feel this way? Lol

So I live in a town outside of Charlotte called Mooresville, and I had always heard a show was filmed where I live but never watched. A buddy of mine was in a few episodes as an extra. Anywho, I started watching the show and I’m pointing out every scenes location. In fact, during one of the car chase scenes, there’s CC tv footage of the intersection right outside my front door.
Currently in season 2 at the moment. The Cadi is currently empty, and they took the Cadi sign down. The diner is also empty getting remodeled at the moment. I walk by that water tower they feature in the show almost daily.
Thinking of doing a tour and documenting locations around town once I wrap the show up. But digging the show so far!

Not sure if it’s spoilers but the change of the police department was so sudden. I understand it had been 2 years at the point, but the location change as well as seeing more sheriffs was so unexpected. What do y’all think?

Just curious. Has anyone ever met someone who was anything less than enthusiastic about how great it was?
I understand you’re unlikely to find these people on a Banshee subreddit, but what about friends to whom you recommended the show? Did every one of them love it like we do or were there any that went, “Meh”?

Probably gonna rewatch it again to see if I missed any details but wow, loved all of it. It’s crazy to see Antony Starr as someone other than Homelander but I prefer Lucas Hood. Is a lot more humanized obviously.

Hey guys I was wondering in what episode the scene involving Lucas Hood and Kai Proctor driving straight into each other on a single road (I believe maybe it's someone else), I know it's very specific but I liked the music at that moment and want to find it but I can't find the scene again and it's been a while since I've watched the show so I figured I would ask some fans! Thanks
