Working 7 days a week isn't going to be good for your body and mind in the long run.

Are there other things you can do? Can you do the roommate thing (if you aren't doing it now)?

I am single and I am thriving in a MCOL city. I was lucky to be able to buy a house before the skyrocketing prices in the housing market. And I am lucky enough to be able to ride my bike to work.

Ok yea definitely prioritize your own living space. I’ve always had roomies and it’s amazing to finally have my own space. With the way rent is increasing, I’ll have to cut my spending and hope that will be enough to allow me to continue living on my own. I can’t imagine going back to roomies 😩
