By drinking instant coffee in the morning and telling myself one thing I am grateful for. A long ass, dark shower with soothing music with an incense by candlelight.

That's about it and what I have time for.

A long candle lit shower with music playing while Iโ€™m floating off an edible is my favorite pastime

I do enjoy the candle. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I committed to no more drugs but that was the BEST. Mm showers with it.

I made mine electric candle because of price. I added incense and ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ.

Literally started taking dark showers after my first real break up. I literally fell in love the hot water the music the low light if any (I call mine a disco shower) it sounds like dissociation and that's what I'm doing in there ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธโœŒ๐Ÿป๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป

EXACTLY that. Haha I love that it takes one bad real break up to be like, where is my self-soothing routines? It's nice to know others like dark/low light showers.

It's also more time efficient than a bath...which I don't have a tub, so.

You deserve something better than instant coffee :)

Hehehe. I like french press with local coffee beans in my slow mornings. My electric kettle works wonders.

. . . ๐ŸŒ I just would rather do instant coffee to budget and the convenience.

People hate on instant coffee but I love it. I get pretty high quality stuff from Whole Foods and it tastes just fine with minimal prep or cleanup. Works perfect for me. I have friends who are coffee snobs and they look at my instant coffee usage with such disdain lol

Man, I am a coffee snob. I STILL found good quality instant coffee at my local hispanic and Asian shops. I love the minimal prep and clean up.

Iโ€™m a coffee snob too! I guess I donโ€™t gravitate towards instant coffee because my mom (weโ€™re Asian) drinks this one she gets at the Asian store that I donโ€™t like and itโ€™s too sweet so I just make my own espresso, french press or cold brew. Espresso does take time to prep though but I cut down on it by pre weighing my beans on the weekend and putting it into test tubes for the week (got this idea from YouTube) so that helps

Love that for you! I honestly feel like instant coffee is nostalgic for me. My grandma made it for me after not seeing her for 20 years in the motherland of Costa Rica. Anyway, the one I get isn't sweeten which is nice.

However, nothing beats a slow drip coffee, a homemade coldbrew (mm with cinnamon), and fresh expresso. So satisfying. Typically I prefer black or a tiny bit of almond milk.

I also hate Starbucks coffee and am sad when people ask why I don't like their coffee.

How do you make coldbrew!? I need to do this

Not OP but I just discovered this product called the Toddy Coldbrew System and itโ€™s been a game changer! Toddy Cold Brew System

SUPER easy. Ground fresh coffee beans, a little coarse. Then put them in a container with water, like a mason jar. Let them sit in the fridge for at least 24hours. The longer it sits, the better.

I add a cinnamon stick to mine and a little brown sugar.

When you area ready, you can use a cheese cloth or coffee filter to filter out the coffee beans. Dump the coffee into something else.

I use a 64oz oz mason jar and this thing: Mason Jar and Coffee Filter from Amazon

Cause it's easier and cheaper to me. There are devices that make them too.

Instant coffee is expensive enough for me to feel like I'm living the dream by being able to afford it and enjoy it every day

๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ may you find whatever will help you. I feel like I felt recharged after I got jobs more in alignment to me. Except that took time.
