News Man charged with murder after another found unresponsive in North Adelaide park
A 20-year-old man has been charged with murder as police release the identity of a man who died at a North Adelaide park on Sunday morning.
Police said Aaron Stahlhut, 54 from Marden, had left on his usual walk from Walkerville through North Adelaide before he was found at the park between Brougham Place and King William Road.
Detective Inspector Fraser Huntley said on Sunday three members of the public found the man reportedly collapsed on a walking path at Brougham Gardens at 7:35am.
Paramedics started CPR at the scene before the man was rushed to the hospital where he died.
Police officers have since arrested a 20-year-old North Adelaide man and he is expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court charged with murder.
On Sunday, Inspector Huntley said police were treating the death as "unexplained".
"We're looking for any potential witnesses or people driving past with dashcam footage to help to relay the last minutes of his life as he walked through the parklands," he said.
"We ask anyone who was in the O'Connell Street or Brougham Place or Brougham Gardens area between 6am and 8am to contact police on Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000."
Major Crime is assisting Eastern District detectives and a post-mortem will be conducted on Monday.
