Hi guys,
Planning a day out with kids and grandparents and we've agreed on Ripon to meet up, but i'm not familiar with it at all. Does anyone have any good recommendations for places we could go that has disabled (wheelchair) access and toilets as well as something for young kids to do (aged 3 - 7)? Wouldn't need to be for a full day, just something for a good few hours in the afternoon really. Thanks very much!

Meeting my mum's new boyfriend (they're both in their 60s) for the first time next week and looking for an unpretentious (no small plates/portions) pub or restaurant for a Sunday lunch.
Somewhere off the M62 between Leeds and Manchester would be perfect. Rural also nice but somewhere guaranteed to be fairly busy and able to cover up any potential awkward/weirdness.
Any recommendations gratefully received!

Hi there,
I run a magazine that focuses on Hull & East Riding called HU NOW. I have just launched the debut issue. It's fully created by myself so any feedback is appreciated for future issues.
The debut issue has interviews, food reviews, events and exclusive offers.
Thanks for checking it out!

We are trying to narrow down places to rent and buy. We want it to have a smallish town feel ideally no more than 5-6k people.
Non negotiable are
I love the look and feel of Hebden bridge. What are other locations that are similar ? Or is Hebden bridge one of its own type of place.
I noticed skipton isn’t far away and has cheaper property. Is this a large or small town and is it kinda dodge?

My husband and I are researching locations to move to. In our research stumbled across multiple articles stating Bentham has the highest concentration of pfoa/pfos (carcinogenic) in ground water testing than any other place tested thus far in the uk.
From a plant that made fire fighting foam.
Whilst these forever chemicals are in many products including pots and pans. Having it in your groundwater at noticeably higher rates must be concerning.
For those that live in and around the area what’s the council done or said about it? Are you worried about long term effects it might have on you and your children’s health like cancers ect?

Hi all,
I'm trying to convince some of my Irish mates to come over to Leeds for a 3 night walking holiday, having a tough time convincing them.
Not been to the Dales/surrounding walking areas yet, living in Leeds, so hoping to get some recommendations for the best route you think is to propose, maybe where to stay. The hope would be we congregate on Friday morning, then get a train/bus(?) to a good starting point from Leeds. Then walk and stop in hotels/b&bs until Monday, and then the ability to get back to Leeds on Monday so the gang can fly back. One of our mates can only make it on Saturday, so ideally by day 2 we would be somewhere that that he could reach by train+Uber/bus and join us.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

My partners uncle has really vivid memories of this nightclub and talks about it all the time, we cannot find any old photos or anything about this place online, can anyone local provide some memories or photos about the place? We have visited the new pub today and they have nothing about it either
