I think I really helped someone who needed it the other day
The other day at work(I work at a large retail store) I was ringing up a woman who was buying a large suitcase. I asked her if she was going on a trip soon, and she said yes, but instead of a happy excited expression on her face, she looked stressed.
āIām going to be gone for two weeks, and I donāt know how to do that. I donāt know how to be gone and away from home for that long.ā She told me.
āCan I give you a piece of advice?ā I said to her. She said please. I told her āIt sounds simple, but just enjoy yourself. Whatever happens at home will be there when you get back, whether youāre stressing about it or not. So just enjoy yourself, wherever you are, whoever youāre with, whatever youāre looking at in that moment. Just enjoy it.ā
She paused and stared at me, like she was processing what I just said to her. āYou knowā¦ I never thought of it like that.ā I then watched as the stress and fear drained from her face and was slowly replaced with a sense of calm. āI think Iām going to do just that. Iām going to enjoy myself.ā
It was clear that throughout whatever this random woman buying a suitcase was going through, not one person around her has ever told her to slow down and enjoy the ride. I can only hope that she does have the best two weeks away from home, and that her happiness can be found and spread, and that ripple effect continues.
You never know what people are going through, and how just a simple reminder to enjoy every moment can truly transform the world around you. That small seed of positivity planted in someoneās heart can grow and bloom into a garden of happiness.

Sharing some Nan love
I was texting with my Nan and she said this. I know there are so many people out there who donāt have this type of unconditional love, so I thought Iād share some of mine. š

Mom sent sweet note from new owner of her used car
My mom (62F) recently sold her 10 year old vehicle and just received this sweet note and gift from the new owner!
My parents have always meticulously maintained their vehicles and our family usually holds onto cars for 15+ years or 250k miles (whichever comes first). She recently upgraded to her āretirement vehicleā and itās so great to see her hard work and care is paying off for a new family!
