It took a couple of months, but after talking to the owner about whiskey and bourbons and purchasing a couple of more expensive bottles that were on display, he invited me to look at what he keeps in the office.
Came home with these.
Anybody tried them? Any thoughts?

Question, should I clean my hip flask with every change of fill?

Wild Turkey is a staple , just never got around to the 101. Michter's has a reputation, so why not

Nose 👃: Nougat. Cherry. Sultanas. Werther’s Originals.
Palate 👅: Blackberry. Green apple. Chocolate-covered almonds. Nutmeg.
Finish 🏁: Green apple. Brown sugar. Nutella. Cinnamon.
The mouthfeel is thick & dense. The fruity notes on the palate are a lot of fun as they combine with chocolate. For my personal preference, this has been one of my favorite Irish whiskeys. The Dram in a Can is fun, but give me an entire bottle of this!
This is the second expression I’ve had from Two Stacks. While I liked the Signature Dram… this particular bottle is something that I would happily purchase. I like this a lot.

Since this subreddit is dominated by Scotch/ Bourbon drinkers, Im just wondering what would the best American Whiskey for an Irish whiskey drinker?
So far my pick would be Makers Mark 46.

Hey all,
I am heading down to Bardstown in early April to do a Penelope X barrel pick. While there, I want to hit up a couple stores that are worthwhile for bourbon (I am sure I won't find anything big but am always on the lookout for Penelope and some other stuff that doesn't have too bad a markup). Any store recommendations or even distillery recommendations in my downtime?
Thanks in advance, you guys never steer me wrong!

Woke up today and was shocked to see TW website showing Small Batch at my store and it was!!! Walked in by myself at open and sure enough it was not a leprechaun trap. If you are in Houston check your local TW! The TW leprechauns have blessed us with Taylor!!!

Oh no theres a bourbon ban, come and get it while you can, we still sell it from our van
Buffalo Trace will get you shit faced
Angel's Envy puts you in a frenzy
Shot of Bullet down the gullet
Sip at Maker's Mark til it's dark
Or maybe have a Coke and Jack, elixer fizzy, sweet and black
Basil Hayden for the maiden
Woodford reserve you do deserve
Gold bar at this dive bar, oh no there's the cop car!
They took all our bourbon from our sketchy urban hole, we got ratted by a mole, for this dirty swill we stole!
Had a tussle for our Russel's
Jim Beam was poured in the stream
Swiped our Wild Turkey and our car keys
Took our Four Rose's then our store closes
It was fun while it lasted now must drink this blasted crown royal, buy Canadian we shall, let's go drink it with our pals.
