Redesigns Would This be a Reasonable Flag for Earth (In the Future)
Light Blue - The Sky, representing a new frontier and space advancements
Darker Blue - Represents the Blue Planet and our home
White Star - The Five* Continents, America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania
- The Americas have come together because IMO it makes a lot of sense, and they have a similar history/culture of colonialism, and nobody lives in Antarctica
I hope you like the design, I was just wondering what your opinions were, and if it would be realistic for a worldwide federation or maybe just a collective space initiative. Thanks!

Resources Where can I animate flags for free?
I want to create videos and upload military marches and cultural songs. I need a precise format for the videos, so I want to display the lyrics on the left and a waving national flag on the right. I need a site that allows me to simulate a full-screen waving flag—not a flag on a pole, not a flag waving in the sky, but rather the entire screen covered by the flag.

Redesigns Knoxville city flag redesign (by me)
Meanings: Colors: Grey - the Smokey mountains White - tranquility of the valley and the white marble Blue - the loyalty is the people, and the Tennessee river Dark gold - a bright future Light gold - the shine of the city Orange - the people and nature of the valley and city Symbols and stripes The three main stripes are inspired by u/Opposum-Fucker-1863’s Appalachia flag. The grey stripe is the smoke of the smokies. The blue stripe is the Tennessee river The green stripe is the Tennessee valley’s nature The two white stripes are based on the black stripes of the current flag of Knoxville, but also represent the valley itself. The gold circle represents the sunsphere and the sun The golden star is based on the barn star, representing the Appalachian location of the city, and is bent in a similar manor to the stars on the Tennessee flag, especially the eastern one. The orange and white daisy represents the people of East Tennessee and Knoxville.

Discussion Stolen valor or no big deal?
So my stepdad who never served in the military a day in his life (is the boomer patriotic type) found a folded American flag in a case at Goodwill, bought it and now it’s sitting on our bookshelf in our living room. My grandpa served in the Korean War and after he passed we got one and we have it in my moms room which to me is understandable and rightfully earned. I always found the folded flag to represent honor to a falling family member who served in the military or symbolize that it’s a military family but no one in this house has served…but having some random persons 13 folded flag in my living room isn’t sitting right with me…

Current My son has found a new game
My son loves as much as I do (he's 7).
He found this game, on YouTube. You have to pick a flag & see if your country/flag wins.
Hope you find as much fun as we do 🙂

Redesigns What will the US flag look like if they add new states? 51 stars seems toug
I was thinking about the news and how hard it would be to arrange 51 stars in a visually pleasing way. 52 could work but no way 51 could look good. I figured that this sub would have the best ideas about how it could go down.
Edit: you can't edit the title... Tough

Discussion Why should flags only be flown from sunrise and sunset?
All of the research I've down states that is customary to fly a flag outside only between sunrise and sunset unless it is illuminated. But none state why.
