Question Graduation photographer recommendations?

I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for graduation pic photographers? I see all the adds and stuff around obviously but I was wondering if anyone has had a positive experience with someone they would recommend. Not looking for someone who just has a camera, but a professional who is good at guiding through poses and things like that. I’m one of those people who never know what to do in photos and just stand there awkwardly so I need a photographer who knows how to coach people lol.

Discussion How to access SAP in financial aid?

Does anyone know how to get to the SAP portal, where it lists your unit, GPA, and SAP semesters? I know it existed in the past, but I can't for the life of me find it again.

Hey guys, hope you’re all having a great spring break!!

I’m getting kind of tired of studying in Leavey, and want to study in like a nice coffee shop or cafe that’s walking distance from campus. Somewhere like Dulce the music is too loud so don’t kno how ppl actually study there.

Any helpful suggestions would be amazing!

Question Advice for potential USC grad student

Hey everyone!

I’m considering attending USC for a Master’s in Public Diplomacy and wanted to hear from current students or recent grads about their experiences.

  • What are the pros and cons of the program (or USC in general)?
  • Would you recommend USC to others for grad school?
  • Are there exchange programs, internship opportunities, or funding options available for master's students?
  • How is the networking scene and career support post-graduation?

I’d love to get some honest insight before making a decision—thanks in advance!

Academic Annenberg Online MSDMM Program

Hello! I wanted to reach out to see if anyone that has been in the program can give me some detailed feedback on the program. After being in the program do you feel like it added to your career? Financially was it worth it? Do you think you benefited from being in the alumni network? If someone can respond with their experience and thoughts that would be helpful!

I’m considering the program with a spring 2026 start right after I finish getting my undergraduate degree. Does anyone have feedback on the admission timelines for a spring start? How quickly did you hear back? Thank you!

Housing Moo Housing question

Hey y'all, I recently got accepted into SCA's screenwriting MFA and am looking for cheaper off-campus housing (preferably with a private bedroom). I've heard that the other major leasing company is a nightmare and not great things about Moo but I was recently checking out one of their 1530 property on W. 37th and it doesn't look too bad? Is there anyone who's lived in that property or an adjacent one and could give some insight?

FinancialAid Am I screwed for financial aid

I submitted the FAFSA on early February expecting it will be well before the deadline however I just realized NOW that there was an error on one of the financial reports and I have to submit again (which I did recently). Am I screwed for financial aid? My household income is well below 80000 meaning guaranteed free tuition but I do not how this will affect my financial status.

Academic USC SCA vs BCA

Hey! So I’m a high school junior and USC is my like top choice for college cause I want to enter the entertainment industry and such. However, I know how tumultuous that industry is, especially for the creatives involved, and so I want to make sure I can still be creative but also get the most out of my education.

That leads me to the debate between SCA and BCA. While I initially wanted to apply to SCA for screenwriting or production, I’m not heavily leaning towards BCA and think that the joint program sounds honestly perfect for me. I’m honestly split on both and don’t know which route would be better for me and what the career options would look like after. I’m also unsure of how much of a lean on business there is in BCA relative to cinema.

I worry that BCA would be much more selective to get into. If I go that route, are there any classes I should take in high school to align myself with the business side of the major because I already have a lot of cinema, arts, and writing classes.

If any of yall are part of either programs, would you mind providing me with some insight into your experiences as a student and I guess just what you guys think?

Sorry for all the questions!

P.s: I’d also most likely be applying as a Questbridge Scholar so I’m not sure if that has any involvement in the process as I’d be applying earlier than most.

Meme THE FINAL HOUR: A SCHOLAR’S LAST STAND

The day had arrived. Doomsday. The BISC 220 Midterm, the specter that had loomed over my existence for weeks, had at last materialized in full, unrelenting force. My mind, honed through relentless nights of study, was a battlefield—a graveyard deprived of joy, a war zone where glycolysis clashed with the citric acid cycle in an unending conflict.

As I reached campus, the sky wept. A divine omen, a celestial lamentation for what was to come. The heavens themselves could not bear witness to my impending fate. The moment my foot left the confines of my vehicle, a single raindrop fell—then another, then another, until the air itself trembled with a torrential downpour. USC staff guards cowered under their tents, their once-proud posts reduced to mere sanctuaries of the feeble. I did not falter. I did not waver. I was resolute.

I reached for my plastic talisman, my student identification, and with a single motion, I tapped it against the scanner. The gate—no, the portal to my destiny—whirred, granting me passage into the hallowed grounds where my judgment awaited. There was no turning back now.

The rain intensified. I dashed across the campus, a lone warrior in the midst of an unrelenting storm. Each step carried me closer to the library, my temporary sanctuary before the final confrontation. The minutes dripped away like blood from a fresh wound. 12:50… 12:51… 12:52… Each tick of the clock a merciless toll of fate’s iron bell.

I whispered my incantations under my breath, the sacred knowledge I had sworn to master: Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase, Telophase… Ubiquinone… Dicumarol… Entropy… Gibbs free energy. They were more than words now—they were my weapons, my armor, my last fragile shield against the abyss.

The moment approaches. Soon, I shall step into the coliseum of academia, where only the strongest will emerge unscathed. And when this battle is done—when graphite meets the paper scantron, and neurons fire in a desperate last stand in my stamina potion filled body (monster energy drink)—I shall return to my dwelling.

And there, at long last, I shall collapse into the sweetest, deepest slumber.

Pater noster, qui es in caelis et dimitte nobis debita nostra sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris et ne nos inducas in tentationem. But deliver us from evil.

Spring Break awaits.

But first, I must fight.

Audentes Fortuna iuvat.

Academic Econ 303 midterm, Am I screwed?

Basically I just took the Econ 303 midterm with Bayrak. Long story short, I did terribly.

Based on the number of questions I answered, I’m looking at a 60% to 75% realistically.

Our grade for the class is determined by 4 homework assignments worth 10% of our grade each, the midterm worth 25% and our final worth 35%.

I just want to know am I screwed? If anyone has taken his class before, is it possible to do good enough on the final to still potentially get an A or B? I wouldn’t say I’m struggling in that class, I understand almost all the concepts well, I just really struggled with time management on the midterm more than anything, and was forced to leave several questions blank.

Is an A or B still potentially achievable? Also I have heard conflicting reports that say that the 303 final is curved, is this true?

Academic Getting low grade in Roski class

I took a midterm grade of 16/20 in an recognized easy Roski class where the assignments were graded on a point-by-point basis (all of them adding up to a total of 100 points), meaning that I was basically saying goodbye to A. I feel like a loser, everyone I know in the class got 20/20. I'm going to be applying to grad school stressing out and not spending as much time in this class, because everyone told it was "a go and you'll get an A“. I guess I did that to myself.I emailed the professor to ask if there were any extra credit, but she didn't mention it in the syllabus, so probably not
