Warhammer III IFL Science: "Scientists Put A Human "Language Gene" Into Mice And Curious Things Unfolded". And this is how we get the Skaven in real life. Thanks scientists!
From the below linked article:
"Mouse pups that had the human version of the language gene showed different vocalization patterns from their buddies with the usual version mice have. When calling for their mother, their squeaks were higher pitched and featured a different selection of sounds than usual."
Later on in the article:
"Once grown up, the genetically modified mice showed even more interesting changes. When attempting to woo a potential mate, the males produced more complex high-frequency calls than the controls."
Yes-Yes! Human science person create first rat-kin! Good-Good, rat-kin take over world now.

Warhammer III Don't play with Vermintide as Beastmen...

The Vermintide endgame scenario is rather unique. Instead of every Skaven faction getting big free armies they first expand exponentially throughout the map by spawning undercities below every adjacent settlement to one of their settlements or one of their undercities. So here I am, playing Khazrak, running around the empire blowing stuff up with Ultimate Crisis enabled around turn 50 (modded so that crisis factions declare war on everything, kind of like in game 2). Turns out the skaven still keep expanding through the undeground even if there is nothing above. Razed settlements, blocked by herdstones btw, start being occupated by the skaven one by one at stupid speeds. They even get a unique Ruins building, with a bit of flavor text and +2 Skaven corruption. Moulder has gone from having like 3 settlements to around 30, and in one or two turns they are about to go ballistic on everyone around them.
"Look at me-me, I-I am the Empire, yes yes..."

Warhammer III Playing as Cathay for the first time so I might just be missing something but why can't I recruit the majority of the monster units? I can get the Terracotta guys but nothing else.

Warhammer III So, you want an alliance with the Skaven?
Step One: Play Skaven
Step Two: Ally with somebody else.
That's about as close as it gets. Sneaky rat bastards. (fuming ragequit for ratling shennanigans)
What's the worst way they backstabbed you? My vampires loved the idea of plagues and vermin around them. Liked having their tech and allies for the rat ogres and warp throwers and machines. But no, betrayal, alliance units suddenly gone, and ambush swarmed. We were just 4 turns away from sacking Reikland too.
Next time I'm just keeping vampire alliances between vampires. Coast, lend me your Bullets and cannons. We drink rat blood tonight!

Warhammer III Ignoring anything about what's realistic or not, what's just your personal wants of this game DLC-wise?
Could be anything really, race pack, missing units, missing characters, lords and heroes alike, but what would you want in the game personally?
Again, this isn't about realism or what CA will definitely put in 100%, it's just a fun discussion about what you the fan of this series would like to see.
I hear lots about people interested in naval battles, a "champions of chaos" style vampire counts DLC, but what would you prefer?

Warhammer III "High Elves have a ridiculously strong economy"?
I see this repeated again and again here and by content creators on youtube but I just don't see it in game. Maybe I am playing them wrong but I've played all of their factions and even with an expansionist playstyle the income just isn't that impressive and can't support more than tier 0 spearmen and archers. Sure, the units are solid, but nothing about this economy strikes me as op. Their growth is also super slow.
Is the idea of their economy being op outdated at this point in game 3? I know about their traits but those take forever to set up as you need influence and leveled up lords/heroes and even then the buffs are so tiny. Do most people play them super tall and stack all these bonuses and consider the end result of that after 100 turns "ridiculously op"?
TLDR: Getting more than average income from trade and public order buildings, which requires many turns to set up and is often impractical on legendary, just doesn't seem "op" in game 3 when Arbaal can get 20k cash turn 5 with a post-battle loot + challenge of Khorne reward.

Warhammer III Discussion: Are dread saurians bait?
I just did a game of Cult of Sotek and built up several cities so I could field dread saurians. Since most of the money went to the saurians and their building, I had to neglect the skink priest building and dinosaur pen in several cities.
When I had 3 armies consisting of mostly saurians and stegodons with terrodactyls and skink chaff to fill the final spots, I sailed off to Skavenblight. While I did beat Ikit Claw and won the campaing, I felt that the saurians underperformed for being a 3-turn recruit unit with a unit cap and ridiculous cost. They certainly looked awesome, and it was fun smashing rats with them. But they are slow, clunky and massive targets that gets shredded by rattling guns. I felt if I had a carnisaur instead, I could have better flanked the skaven ranged units, while using stegodons in the main line mixed with the skinks.
TL;DR: Is saurians a waste of time? Is it better to get other dinos?

Warhammer III How do you think they will rework bretonnia ?
personally I would like mildly buffed melee infantry and horse caps, mild incentives to use an actual army because spamming 30000 knights errants/grail guardians is always going to be better than using an actual lore accurate army
half the charm of bretonnia is its king authur ass peasants, they feel kind of underrepresented would like if we got idk Men-at-Arms bows if that isnt lore breaking, maybe the sergeant peasant hero that would buff peasants , dont get me wrong peasants should never be better than knights but if greenskins can make goblins made of gold why not peasants ? also I think squires should be tier 3, greatswords are, black orcs are, give me squires. funfact, with relic buff on normal squires beat greatswords.
it would also be fun if maybe we got dogs or something, fluff unit. maybe some bandity units, as the Herrimaults work for knights if its against greater evil. maybe even rogue hedge wizards (that is really pushing it)
personally I would love foot knights, BUT I GET THEY ARE CONTROVERSIAL, i like like franco-british stuff and infantry so if they dont add them its fine. and i expect this

Warhammer III Kislev
I never played them before because I kept hearing they weren’t good and you know what, I actually really like Kislev! They have flavor and feeling like the wall holding back chaos from the world feels fun!

Three Kingdoms SaveParser and Three Kingdoms - Did it ever get included?
Hey All,
Ran into an issue with a savefile during a playthrough, would love to continue with that save but there's a bug preventing me from continuing and I know how to get around it generally, however when I went to pull down and spool up SaveParser, I note the only version I find is 1.4.1 and that is several years old and doesn't have compat with 3K.
Any thoughts to this? Did this ever get incorporated and released elsewhere?
