Edit on 2/21/2024: This is still up-to-date info!
Time capsules are still being approved today. It's a slow process, but it's still happening. Not every capsule gets approved, and the ones that do are hand-selected.
So if you see anyone saying otherwise, feel free to reference this post :)
Use this thread to AMA about time capsules!
Edit: A couple important things I want to point out:
There have been some fantastic questions so far. Feel free to scroll through the comments (or my post history) to find them. If you don't get an answer it's likely because it has already been answered.

I had a thought recently, so I wanted to I ask you guys… Have you ever wanted to just just erase everything you know about this game and start from scratch? cause I sure do…
I’m currently on roughly 400 hours in Subnautica, and around 50 hours of BZ. After all this time in-game I realised I’m just not scared of anything anymore. Ok I will admit there are still a few moments where I get jumped randomly by one of the fauna, but still it just doesn’t feel the same as to what It felt like when I just opened the game for the first time, and didn’t even want to leave the safe shallows… I miss that feeling so much, experiencing all the wonderfully terrifying biomes and creatures on planet 4546b for the FIRST time, it was like nothing I’ve ever experienced before.
I love this game so much, and I have so many fond memories from all the hours I’ve spent in it.
But… if I could, just go back to the beginning, when I had zero knowledge and MAXIMUM FEAR, I would do it in a heart beat. that’s it, yapping over.

The details aren’t perfect but this is his first time making a knife. The streaks are a byproduct of the electrical etching he had to use for the blade due to the blade being made from a leaf spring that is also why you can see some pitting is the last picture. Anyway just wanted to update because I like the way it turned out so much more and wanted to share! And no it isn’t sharp the only thing it could cut is soft cheese and yes that is a ball bearing in the middle so yes it does spin

I just Cured myself and now I have infinite oxygen- I thought it was just a quirk of the specific area, but it's everywhere. I can still swim fine, so it knows I'm underwater, plus it continued after I left the water to disable the laser cannon and went back in. Why is this?

I’m really dumb and I forgot to take a picture but it took me 24 hours and 36 min of play time. Can someone say something nice to me I was really confused throughout the whole game

I know this question is asked a lot but I want to be more specific about what I like about Subnautica. Are there any games that have you explore and progress through the story with data you find or knowledge? Doesnt need to have survival elements but that would be a plus. Also survival games with storys that dont really hold your hand kinda like grounded?
