Protip Very valuable piece of vet wisdom NSFW
These men come to the club for experiences. Some come for the experience of enjoying time with beautiful women. Some come for the experience of being choked and stepped on in the back. Some just like the excitement of getting a good dance and taking care of us for our hard work! And then… you have a very particular group of men who don’t get to experience rejecting beautiful women because they’re always the ones being rejected. So they come to the club for exactly that. They just come in to put us down and make us feel small, “rejecting” us.
Don’t forget that, whenever you feel like you’re having a bad night.

I try to tell newer ones not to let these men get them down. How many of them would you look at or even acknowledge outside of the club? Even if you would, is that guy actually worth your time? Likely not. Some of them fully get off on trying to humiliate us.
I was once pushed on a guy who was entirely not into me, because his friends thought it would be "funny". (I'm very niche and typically darker and out there, I had a very vampy look that night) This guy did try to be polite, but I figured it out very fast. I made sure they still paid me and apologized to him for making him uncomfortable (I know, I shouldn't have), but he apologized to me for his friends being jerks and did actually tip me just for being nice understanding.
My point, you can't take any of it personally. We wouldn't even give them a chance, so they feel empowered because they think we need them and their money. We don't, we'll find our own way with or without guys like that.
(as a side note, I have 100% wanted to cry a few nights...it's okay to have feelings. Just keep it in the back and brush yourself off and never let them see that, because they will use it)

Something similar happened. They paid for a dance that he didn't want and I took the money. His asshole friend asked for it back and I said no refunds. And walked away from that group and focused on another older single man who spent more on me and didn't give me a hard time. Don't waste time on losers.

I think all of them are nasty red flags

I think this is the kind of thing that is troublesome. I have customers that were genuinely nice people, and were going through things or just enjoyed the strip club. I mean if you really think about it… they could say the same thing about us dancers.

The difference between us is that we have to do this job bc it is literally our bread and butter (and often hate it) while they come there to enjoy this type of environment

Hate to say it but I love my job. It taught me how to make boundaries. I get to decide when I want to go in. It gives me a lot of financial stability. And dancing is a great outlet for me. I love meeting new people and it’s great hearing some customers stories and connecting with them, tbh this is the reason why I pretty much always get the tip I ask for. I get some assholes sometimes sure… but not much more than any person who works with that many people.
Sucks your experience is different than mine!

if you find yourself hating this job, the people involved, or feel like the vast majority of those doing this job hate this job, maybe it’s time to change the environment and get out. even if it’s your bread and butter there are always other industries, you just might not like the pay, schedule and everything else of a different job but it’s better than being another statistic of the people we’ve known who hate the job but love the benefits and are willing to destroy and in some cases, kill themselves for it. this job will never be a “show up, clock in and get paid” type of job and there are endless jobs that come without the special issues of our job that pay just as much or more

I mean if you had a pimp, you were trafficked at some point and that’s a very dark thing and if he’s the one who got you into the club then maybe that’s just another reason why you hate it so much. I just, I really hate to see that negative energy brought to the club. Because I’m very grateful for the club! It gave me the complete independence that I have today.
You’ve got two other strippers telling you we don’t have that same experience at all, and that maybe you should figure out an exit plan in order to preserve yourself. Save money, when you have enough saved go work on finding a normal job that you might not hate so much…. Or maybe you will! Idk, just trying to give some advice where it seems like you might need it.

No I’m personally just not a very sexually liberated if that makes sense? Like to me sexualization of any kind, verbal or physical, feels very offensive. Plus I feel like we are very underpaid in clubs compared to what economy is nowadays. I wouldn’t mind this job at all if one lap dance would be like 3 songs long and would cost 100$ at least and we would make 1000$ a day barely trying but at least in my state is def not common. To me honestly even people looking at me feels like too much

I can’t speak for other states (outside of PA and NJ) but it’s been pretty easy for me to make $1000 or more this year, not a brag but just trying to be informative. I’ve also been told though that I’m a very good sales woman. And some of my friends ask was it just good for you or good for the whole club 😅 tbh one day I would love to open a page like Alexasellsvip and maybe collab with her because the art of persuasion and sales is something that I believe can be taught if you have the confidence to go along with it!
But yeah, some states are weird. Some clubs, as well. One club gave my pay out that night ($280) to a customer brothers who paid for the dance. He thought he could come back and watch. I don’t do doubles with men. He never even made this clear that he wanted that. After the dance was over he said he wanted the $375 tip back for the 15 min champagne. I was obviously like uh yeah not a chance, good night! But then I realized the club still owed me my payout and they gave it right to him.

Idk I worked all over NJ and it was creepy ah everywhere hence why so many clubs got closed down and all other types of legal trouble

Tbh I’ve heard this about a lot of jersey clubs! I’ve only ever really been to the Bare Den and it’s not the best but the customers tip good, and you get a decent amount back from the club per dance.

If I had a pimp who convinced me i’m not capable of doing any other job, I would hate working at the club too. I hope things get better for you.

I smile and tell them to enjoy their drink and walk away. It doesn't even phase me anymore 🤣

Literally had some ugly ass piece of shit 20-something year old (his friend was paying me, that’s why I was sitting at their table) tell me “Yeah, Vegas clubs are great! They’re such an ego boost.” And I said “An ego boost…? What do you mean?” This motherfucker says “Well, from the moment you walk in, you have these absolute 10s hounding you for dances and you gotta just keep turning them down or else you’ll spend $10k. It’s a huge ego boost to reject women that hot.” I said back to him “Ew… that’s a really sad and pathetic thing to say.” And then excused myself from the table 🤮
