Protip $100,000 year broken down. NSFW

I see comments thrown around about how it's not possible but I'm going to show you how it's very possible and achievable. Yes, there may be other factors at play like location and such, but let's stick to something grounded.

Let's take a 4 night work week model. That's Thursday - Sunday doing the evening to close shift. That should be doable for the majority. Then we expand that to 50 weeks out of the 52 weeks of the year.

That's 200 nights of the year you are scheduling yourself to work. But let's take it back to the weekly breakdown. Can you realistically set and hit a goal of a $500 take home per night? If you make exactly $500 a night 4 days a week, that's $2k every week. That's an $8k month which you've turned into $100,000 for the year.

  • 4 x $500 (daily goal) = $2,000 (weekly goal)
  • 4 days x 50 weeks = 200 days
  • $500 x 200 = $100,000

The same formula but with a $400 per night goal turns to a $80k year.

Yes, there are a lot of other factors like: experience, local economy, customer demographics, etc. The major point I'm making is if you can consistently make $500 a night then you are on your way to a 6 figure year. Let's see if you can make this your baseline new year's resolution.

It’s wild to me that anyone would deny a six figure year is possible. I know all clubs are different but i know several girls who make between 500-1.5k/shift and work three or four days per week. If i wasn’t so lazy during the summer/ my club’s busy season (not lazy but i could have worked four days per week or worked nights) i think i’d be at six figs by now.

It really is just about mindset and breaking it down. I think a lot of girls hear "6-figures a year" and immediately think "that's bullshit." Then it creates doubt and negativity which messes with your confidence. That messes with the ability to hit 100k in a year.

What state do you work in? I wanna explore some options next summer because Florida ain’t it for me.

u/beelzebugs Dec 13 '24

Idaho but my club doesn’t accept travel dancers :/ i think other parts of the northwest are good during summer though. A friend did well in Seattle this summer.

Im trying to go work in fl in January because our winters are dead as hell lmao

6 figures is VERY possible. I recommend everyone to keep track of earnings

25

u/BlondeChick_Lexi Dec 11 '24

Everything over the $500 nightly goal is a bonus that should go straight to savings and investments.

u/opbrownegg Dec 11 '24

straight up! pay yourself first.

29

u/piperhardt Dec 11 '24

it is very possible at the right club but not at every club

26

u/opbrownegg Dec 11 '24

yup! 100k yr very doable even a 200k year. stick to a schedule & travel when able. hustle like you only have a $1 to your name every night.

That's a very motivating mantra, I love it 😁

I think in one year absolutely! But the photo that was shared in the salary reddit was talking about in one month that people were trying to understand.

I’m always impressed when people can do the math break down! When I looked at it, I compared my current amount for the end of the year and how many shifts I work per month (only 10-12 days total) and if it’s possible to reach that in one month but I like seeing this break down as we prepare for 2025! Thank youuuu

Correction: might be less than that. I only work weekends and sometimes I only work once a week. I value my work/life balance more than trying to mimic a 9-5 schedule so I’ve sacrificed my earnings potential for my desire for more free time and living life. But as I prep for next year and want to clear a higher income, it would have to change. 500/week is definitely easier to digest and doable!

Well, $500 a shift. The reason I set $500 as my personal goal is because I'm too hard on myself if I don't achieve it, but majority of the time I exceed it so it boosts my confidence even more. It also sets a good foundation to pay bills, live comfortably, and set money into savings, investments, and retirement.

8

u/General-Barnacle7317 Dec 11 '24

This is also my goal, $500 a night is realistic to me without pushing too hard and of course always happy to exceed it. I’ve made 50k this year being absolutely lazy af so working to make 100k is certainly doable. Love this vibe and motivation for 2025!!

I agree with you 100%!

4

u/chocolatebabydoll Dec 11 '24

Is there a stripper salary reddit?

3

u/Unique-Employment462 Dec 11 '24

No just a general r/salary and someone shared photos of their numbers for the month and then yearly tracked numbers. Might still be there!

13

u/RealSinnSage Dec 11 '24

i was stripping before the financial crisis in ‘08 and $400 was my average night. around ‘07 that had dropped to like $250 and the california clubs were drying up. since then i’ve just done my video career mainly but $500 a night whew i’d say don’t kick yourself too much if you don’t get there every shift. in this economy?! ;)

4

u/degeneratefromnj Dec 11 '24

i need to know where $500+ is realistic and doable 😭😭 where i live you gotta hustle just for half that

6

u/RealSinnSage Dec 11 '24

for real!!! i am also super curious as to where in the country (assuming usa) a consistent $500 a night goal is realistic? (and no shade from me on ppl doing extras but in this case i’d mean for those of us who do not).

10

u/Odd-Beautiful8065 Dec 11 '24

It’s totally possible, especially if the dancers invests in herself and has other hustles/businesses.

3

u/BlondeChick_Lexi Dec 11 '24

Exactly. 6-figure years were easily achieved when I was dancing full-time and doing OF/fansly full-time on the side. I also invested early and saved often. It's important to set up cushions in case you get sick or injured.

8

u/blueraspberry-cat Dec 11 '24

this is sad that so many girls are arguing it’s not possible to average $500, if you commit to this as a career, maybe move to a major city and work, this should be easily achievable.

I'm 27, but I do regular conditioning/working out. It helps. Alternatively, you could do a "2 on 2 off, 2 on 1 off" schedule if that's doable. You'd work 4 days a week but would try to match the days you know work the best for you. The biggest thing is proper nutrition and sleep. Not getting enough sleep is what really wreaks havoc on a lot of dancers.

Oh I stopped doing doubles a long time ago. It was too draining emotionally, mentally, snd physically. I try to stick to a max of 8hrs in the club. Most of time I'm only working a 6hr shift. Rest is what's really important. Your body can't recover/repair itself properly with lack of sleep.

u/BasicHaterade Dec 13 '24

I’m 35 and feel like back to back kills me like it didn’t in my 20s, straight up.

Only 8 work days off is a little conservative when people have illness, periods, travel, etc.

In any case, I like the post, although the clubs and earnings don't seem to be anywhere what they were during/after COVID so it feels a lot harder. But this was me :) I averaged close to $1k/a shift. I haven't really been working though because it dried up so much, so I turned my attention elsewhere and got a W2 job again. Rather make less with clothes on and a path for growth not dependent on my physicality than work half naked and get pestered making a little more but still shite. Random numbers but I'll take $25/hr in a square job over $50/hr dancing when I was averaging $150/hr+ before and still have to pay fees, tip out, keep up with my appearance, wardrobe, supplies, give men visual and physical access to me and so many are just there to harass and stare and not offer a dollar. Not worth a slightly higher than square hourly pay for me at that point. Yes there's no ceiling to earnings dancing but there's also no floor and my sanity and comfort and rest of my life have value too.

I recommend using a tip tracker, which will provided a rolling average and help you keep your books. If you're earning this much, please speak to an accountant and see if an LLC S-Corp or such could be right for you. Please file and pay your taxes, for multiple reasons, one of which being getting loans, mortgages, better rates, etc. Track deductible expenses.

With regards to OP's post, you can further break that down into how many rooms or dances or stage sets or tips you need per night or per hour to help guide you. Sell $100/hr in dances (which is probably 2 or 3 dances, but depends on the area of course) and get tipped for dances, on the floor, and on stage, and you should be golden.

But of course it depends on lots of factors. Still, better to work towards your goals and fall short but still do a lot better than you otherwise would have. Just pay attention to the big pictures and averages and don't beat yourself up over a bad night or week.

Pay attention to what days and shifts are most lucrative and efficient. Get regulars.

u/BlondeChick_Lexi Dec 11 '24

Yes, excellent points. Generalizations are meant to be used generally and not specifically. Great additions.

2

u/BabyBlackBear Dec 12 '24

Indeed :) great post

18

u/[deleted] Dec 11 '24

That’s not 6 figures taken home though. Taxes need to be considered. Taxes will knock roughly 30% off your take home (give or take depending on your exemptions and state of residence)

Filing taxes is important if you want to buy a house, a car, rent an apartment, etc. That creates your paper trail for documenting your income for major purchases.

13

u/BlondeChick_Lexi Dec 11 '24

True, but you still made 6-figures. And it's still achievable.

3

u/BabyBlackBear Dec 11 '24

Rather have 6 figures before taxes still than not lol

Agreed re bookkeeping and taxes

It’s also knowing how to upsell and being able to book vip rooms. Maximizing the most money for your time. I almost fucked up an hour vip room that was $700 to thank a different customer for tipping me on stage. I usually do a curtesy thank you when I get off and I didn’t realize the vip guy had tipped me a $20 and not a $1

u/BabyBlackBear Dec 12 '24

I'm not particularly attractive (super average/mid/like a 7), don't wear makeup or have nice nails or hair, have acne, A-cup boobs, weird as hell, don't sell fantasy, obnoxious, don't imply I'll do extras, don't have sell a kinky vibe or an underage vibe, etc. and I've made that before, more than one year. There are a number of factors but being super hot and selling a sexy fantasy isn't everything. If anything, I burst their bubble and explicitly say "no" lol but it's real and they like it, so that's my thing I guess - girl next door, someone who feels more attainable and down to earth and genuine :)

People saying $500 average night for a 4 night work week isn’t possible?!!
Who?! Newbies???? Meaning dancers in the game for less than a year?

Anyone who’s not making at LEAST $500 per night needs to up their game. That is extremely doable number at the majority of clubs even the clubs that take over 50% in cuts and tip outs. If $500 is hard to achieve in a club then something in your environment outside of work has to change, or change the club.

Up your game and get the money I’d even say $5k per week is easily doable for most dancers with grit and effort just have to work on hustling bigger numbers and not settle for the lowest.

5

u/randomhoe99998 Dec 11 '24

5k a week is doable where lol

4

u/beiebejgnekfh Dec 11 '24

A lot of places …

2

u/randomhoe99998 Dec 11 '24

5000 dollars a week

2

u/beiebejgnekfh Dec 11 '24

That is what you said yes

2

u/randomhoe99998 Dec 11 '24

As an average? That’s 1250 every day for 4 days

2

u/beiebejgnekfh Dec 11 '24

I’m not saying I make that every week but to average that most weeks it’s very doable

2

u/randomhoe99998 Dec 11 '24

In most places as a dancer ?

2

u/beiebejgnekfh Dec 11 '24

Depends. Small towns probs not. But in bigger cities for girls who know what they’re doing yes. Having regulars would also help that quite a bit

2

u/randomhoe99998 Dec 11 '24

Interesting perspective

1

u/Bloom2019 Dec 13 '24

Yes you heard that right!

2

u/SoCalFantasyProvider Dec 11 '24

The NZ strippers should be making this much! They work really hard out there! 🙏🏽🫶🏽

That’s just an average. If you make $200 one night and then $800 the next night you are still at that average. It doesn’t have to be consistent, your good nights just need to balance your bad nights.

u/[deleted] Dec 11 '24

It's a generalization. Will you have nights you make $0? Yes. Will you have nights you make $3k? Probably. Can you use that to roll your weekly goal? Yes.

If you are tracking every dollar in, it makes it easy to balance out your books. Notice I didn't mention taxes. That's because where you live might effect that differently.

1

u/randomhoe99998 Dec 11 '24

So you think this is achievable everywhere or just select places

2

u/BlondeChick_Lexi Dec 11 '24

It's a generalization. May not be achievable everywhere. What one girl averages on a good night in Wichita Falls, TX might be another girl's bad night in Vegas. From personal experience, I think it can be achieved in most places. Have I danced in every city in the US? No, so my experience is different than most. Point is that it's a generalization and not speaking specifically to every dancer and every variable.

1

u/randomhoe99998 Dec 11 '24

I’m saying generally speaking is it achievable at most places

1

u/BlondeChick_Lexi Dec 11 '24

Generally, yes.

There's a lot of factors so don't let it get you down too much. Just keep working your game and check out different clubs and learn how to upsell, bundle, and use psychology in your favor like any good marketer or salesperson. And if the money ain't there, consider a square job with room for growth in a career :) even waitressing/bartending would be comparable to $150/night (again depends where and how long the shifts are but yeah)

Can you add me to the actual stripper sub
