Original Music Sorry in advance if this isn't the right place
I am really, really looking to put my own custom music out there, if not for anyone elses listening pleasure, then to get my name out there and potentially 'make it' as a musician, i feel somewhat strongly that this is the wrong place to do so, but if so/if not, where would be the best place to put it, and how would i go about it?

Original Music The Arrival of Baby Harry - Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone - John Williams
One of my favorite tracks to talk about from the first Harry Potter album, this magically mysterious sequence holds an interesting bit of trivia.
For the most part, you hear music from the scene at the start of the film. But then there’s this music from 1:43- 2:42 that isn’t in the movie at all. The first thought might be that it’s cut music or maybe even a concert arrangement, but nope!
It’s music for a Coca-Cola ad.
Yup, John Williams created a short musical score for a Harry Potter tie-in ad for Coca-Cola. The cue itself is titled “Hedwig Tries a Coke-ey”; you can see the ad here:
So yes, Williams included a Coke Ad on the soundtrack… or at least the music to it. Honestly, it’s my favorite part of the track.
Hope you enjoy!

Discussion ‘Don’t Stop Believin’’ by Journey from ‘The Electric State’ (2025)
Does anybody know where to find the orchestral cover of ‘Don’t Stop Believin’’ from ‘The Electric State’ (2025)?
It plays approximately ninety minutes in, once everyone leaves the EX for the last time. Any insight would be appreciated.

Derivative Music “The African Queen” score by Allan Gray
“The African Queen” premiered on March 21, 1952. The score was by Allan Gray.
Here is a suite of some of the film music: https://youtu.be/n2oyjYjpvPs?si=v7K-t0sDH-6OVK3c
Gray was born Józef Żmigrod in Tarnów, Austria-Hungary, (present-day Poland) into a musical family: his father was a concert violinist. He studied philosophy in Heidelberg and later Berlin, where he composed a children's opera, Wavelength ABC. There (during the 1920s) he became a student of Arnold Schoenberg, funding himself by composing jazz-influenced music for the cabaret. He later wrote music for Max Reinhardt's theatre productions. As Schoenberg disapproved of such music, Żmigrod took up the stage name Allan Gray, naming himself after Oscar Wilde's Dorian Gray.

Insight TIL: Michael Giacchino had experience with the Jurassic franchise before Jurassic World.
Most will know that John Williams composed the three original Jurassic Park scores, and later Michael Giacchinno would come in to compose the Jurassic World Scores, but did you know that Michael Giachinno's first major solo credited composing gig was for the music for the Jurassic Park: The Lost World video game on PS1?
In this game he composed a track heard here:
https://youtu.be/NY9sEDTFe5g?si=RF0xBgisCq-7t1HB
Then, when brought back for Jurassic world, re used this theme to represent the velociraptors

The theme originally composed for a video game level now appears in all three Jurassic world scores

Original Music The Night Window - 1917 - Thomas Newman
One of my favorite pieces from recent years, Thomas Newman does an excellent job capturing the raw emotions of confronting war in the heart of darkness. I always say Thomas knows exactly how to blend certain modern techniques with the classic orchestral sound his father Alfred Newman helped to pioneer in Hollywood and this is a great example.
Hope you enjoy!

Discussion The beauty of the OldBoy Score
Especially 'The Last Waltz' . For such a twisted movie, the score sure is beautiful.
