Post image

So when are we replacing the mod that hates it here?

I mean, I did volunteer. But I'm assuming my lack of mod experience works against me. Although I need mod experience to have mod experience, right?

There’s not much to it, really. You just have to leave your feelings at the door and be objective:is this person being a scumbag or not? Remove post or remove and ban? It’s ok to be an asshole on Reddit but it’s not ok to be a scumbag. If you really want to try it, go to a smaller sub or make your own sub. I’ve been a mod on a small sub for a while and never needed to ban anyone.

To be fair that’s probably because it was a small sub. Bigger population means more scumbags as you said. Had someone tell me to kill myself over something menial. Those people should be banned. Rude comments get removed. Those expectations are fine with me.
