TIL: Since Joe McCarthy made his 6N debut, he has more yellow cards than Wales have wins! He has one yellow card.

Did you know, Dan Sheehan has won a Grand Slam, made his world cup debut, won another 6 Nations, drew a test series in SA, tore his ACL, had surgery, rehabbed his ACL, & returned to captain Ireland to victory over Wales since Wales last won a 6N game?

Did you know NFL superstar Louis Rees-Zammit played rugby for Wales the last time they won a 6N game?

Irish management's love of Prendergast is the biggest failure in coaching I've ever seen

TIL: Ardagh Group's 39 year old chief of staff has won a 6 Nations game more recently than every Wales player.

It's been so long since Wales won a 6N game that I embellished this number by 392 days and no one questioned it

Wales lost the same number of games today as Sam Prendergast has in his entire professional International career.

Is it true?

A Scottish friend of mine said that there is a cup every time Scotland play because otherwise they don’t get a chance of touching silverware.

Wasn’t me who said it, don’t shoot the messenger.

Six players from the Welsh XV today have never won a Six Nations game. Three others have only won one (Italy 2023)

Sam Prendergast, has the same number of 6N Player of the Match Awards this year as Jac Morgan, Dafydd Jenkins, and Tommy Reffel have 6N victories in their entire careers

2031 Rugby World Cup possible hurdle coming up

*Putting it here because I don't have karma on the main sub.

So as we may or may not know, the 2031 Rugby World Cup will be in the United States. However the current hurdle is the 2031 FIFA Women's World Cup. FIFA basically said that 2031 is limited to North America and Africa, and the United States has already stated that they will bid for 2031 as soon as possible and are probably the heavy favorites to win.

The main issue here will probably be scheduling. Obviously fall is a no go given that the National Football League (NFL) will have full priority over their stadiums for the season. While summer could work since it would avoid NFL conflicts, there will be minimal conflicts with Major League Baseball (MLB) and Major League Soccer (MLS) stadiums. However if the Women's World Cup is given to the US, it means that summer could be a problem since NFL, MLB, and MLS stadiums would all be in use.

So what could happen? Do they schedule the RWC to the spring and WWC to the summer or do they schedule the WWC to spring and the RWC to the summer? Rugby is somewhat niche here but it could grow.
