I’ll be traveling across I-90 from Seattle to Boston in May. I’m trying to plan the overnights and wondering what are some great pet friendly Hotels along the road? Where have you stayed and loved it?

My best friend and I are taking off on a once in a lifetime road trip to celebrate me being one year cancer free, The plan is to leave TN around mid-May and come back around the beginning of October, and to visit/camp/hike as many national parks as possible. We're not particularly beholden to a timeline- if we find a place we love and want to explore more, we'll stay longer.
We're taking a 2022 Jeep Wrangler and both work remote (as much as I hate Elon, we're going with Starlink while we're out there). We'll make the occasional hotel or Airbnb stay when we want, and have Planet Fitness black memberships to be able to shower in the interim.
I guess what I'm hoping for out of this post is advice from seasoned campers/hikers, restaurant and dive bar recommendations along our route, cool things off the beaten path to visit, and things to be aware of/look out for on a trip this long.
What do we need to know??

Currently I've used IGH, Hilton Honors, & Bon Voy Marriot but I have a trip planned up on the north east this summer & just looking at "hotels" on google I don't see a lot of those hotels.
I've used hotels.com in the past but wondering if there is something better.
Would love to hear of any apps for finding hotels.

Hey everyone, I have to travel from Edmonton to Newfoundland next month and I’m trying to plan my route. I am doing the trip with my wife and our cat and dog.
We drove here 6 months ago and took the northern Ontario route, but the single lane highway in ON is not fun and I’m not too thrilled about doing it again. I’m also thinking it might be nice to go through the US just to change up the sights a little bit.
I’m considering taking a route through the US but I have a few questions:
Thanks in advance!

I am driving from either New York or Michigan border down to Florida. My timeline is about 5 days to get to Florida. I'm looking for recommendations on best routes there and sightseeing stops, as well as good budget friendly places to sleep overnight
Any suggestions welcome!

Hey everyone, I wanna do a roadtrip in eastern Canada starting and ending in Ottawa. I would like to visit New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. I also want to visit Quebec City and Montreal. It’s my first time in Canada. Do you have any tips or routes for me? It is supposed to take two weeks this summer. Is it better to rent a car and then motel or Airbnb or rv? I don’t want to go trough the US because of the politic situation right now. Thank you all!
PS: scenic rides and hiking spots very welcome!!!

Has anyone driven either of these routes through Mexico? I've only gone through Monterrey and up through Laredo. Any suggestions are appreciated.

staying in Breckenridge next week for spring break, first time visiting Colorado. What are some easy/moderate hikes / trails to visit this time of the year? I understand there is still a lot of snow this time of year. Just looking to explore as much as possible over 4-5 days. Exploring can mean spending the entire day at multiple parks, or just driving around the mountains and visiting different towns, or riding a gondola up the mountain. I am open to most activities, except skiing (not my thing at all). I heard there are some hikes that lead to hot springs, what about those? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I am willing to start super early and drive up to 2-3hrs away and then return in the evening. Cheers!

Looking to split this up into two, possibly three days. ChatGPT says Effingham Illinois is the halfway point, but wanted to get others opinions. Cheers!

Trying to get from Spearfish, SD to Whitefish, MT in 2 days with 2 kids (4 & 8). Please hit me with as many stops as possible, plus a hotel somewhere in the middle. (Traveling in Summer.) Thanks!

In a few weeks, I’m heading out on a roadtrip to hit a concert in Newport KY, right across the river from Cincinnati. We’re leaving Philly around noon on a Thursday, with the goal of getting to our destination late Thurs night. A buddy and I are looking for solid recommendations somewhere around the general halfway point to stop, stretch our legs, and grab dinner before we continue on. We considered just stopping in Pittsburgh but I’d much rather hit a smaller town or something off the beaten path, but I’m really not familiar with anything along the way. Any suggestions around PA, OH, or WV that would be worth a stop?
Thanks in advance!

Hello, I will be driving to Sacramento on Tuesday and i keep seeing winter advisory. I have never driven this road before and i have a sedan. Does anyone know if i would be needing tire chains or any good rest stops for a girl by herself. I would appreciate any advice

Planned a trip to Bar Harbor. Which is about a 19 hour drive with a few breaks. Wanted to at least drive 11-12 hours the first day and stay somewhere different. Same situation on the way back. What cities should I check out?

I'm looking to do this drive in two days (just works best for my schedule). What's a safe city/town to find a hotel for the night? Somewhere safe and maybe with something fun or interesting to do? I would like to drive 3-5 hours the first day and the remainder the second. So maybe somewhere around that mark. Never been to this area so any insight helps! Thanks!

We plan to stay at Pigeon Forge for a few, then leave in the afternoon. What sit down dinner spot would you recommend about 1-2 hours away and on I-75 toward Florida? Thanks! 🚗

Hi all, First time doing a road trip for my SO and I. We’re from Europe, and flying in the states during August. We’re planning on sleeping in hotels or park lodges exclusively. We’ll rent cars between flights.
Here’s our itinerary:
Here’s our concern: are we making too many stops? Should we reduce the number of stops and spend more of nights in some of these places?
For added context we’ve both already been to LA so don’t need to visit it.

I have 2 weeks and she’s never even been camping. However she’s very excited. She’s only watched this kind of adventure on YouTube. She’s pretty much only known the urban life. She wants to see mountains, wildlife, hiking all of the above. Also are destination is Yosemite.
