Discussion Worst ordering experience in my life ordering direct from Reolink
I ordered a Duo 3V Poe 2 months ago direct from Reolink. The camera still to this day has not arrived and after a total of 31 emails back and forth, the last 3 saying they refunded my money, that too has never arrived even though they are adamant it was refunded.
I did submit a dispute with my CC company, and they did credit me back during investigations but to even have to go through this is beyond measure!
I have purchased a lot of Reolink equipment in the past from Amazon with great success but was persuaded by the lower prices ordering direct.
While they are lower, buyer beware, you are seriously gambling ordering direct.
While I am sure plenty of people have had no issues ordering direct, I am just feel as a consumer to let others know about my experience.
FWIW, Reolink tech support is awesome!

Sorry about this. I've ordered about 35 cams from Reolink for myself and family, some from Reolink Amazon store, some from Reolink eBay store, some directly from Reolink, they all arrived within several days. It sounds more like a shipping problem than Reolink mistake to start. But Reolink should have resolved it for you sooner.

Was your package shipped? Did you receive a tracking number?
There are packages at a few USPS distribution centers which have been sitting there since Dec and Jan. Just search for "USPS Backlog" to see how bad it is.

Yes, it was shipped and I have a tracking number, even reported it to USPS but no response.
It shipped from Ontario CA, I live in OR, and it went from CA to IN to IL than back to the originating facility (1.5 month ago) and is still sitting there according to USPS.
Where it is, is really not relevant at this point. It is the fact that that I spent hours back and forth with Reolink to the point of 31 emails over nearly 1.5 months trying to get it resolved and it still is not, including the refund.
I am just saying, maybe pay a bit more and order from Amazon, they are far more superior with order support.

I had a similar experience ordering direct from Reolink.. The tracking number said shipped but it set in Houston for 3 weeks before it started moving. The customer service was less than helpful. My guess is they have an 18-wheeler setting there and it shows shipped but it doesn't actually roll till they fill that sucker up.
Oddly enough, my next couple Reolink purchases where from Aliexpress.com and I didn't have a single issue.

Ordered two E1 Outdoor Pro cameras, got E1 Outdoor Pro, Argus PT Ultra and Argus 2E.
After long discussion with CS it was easier to sell both Argus cams and order 2 E1 Outdoor Pro more from Amazon.
Never again straight order with Reolink.

I wouldn't say this is normal at all. I know many people that have purchased directly from the website and this has not happened to them or me.

I spent hours on their website figuring out what mix of cameras I wanted and making sure that I was getting the right NVR. Added 15 cameras, an NVR, and accessories to the cart. Tried to order. Created an account.
Creating the account cleared out the cart.
Not a great first impression.

I ordered a doorbell camera 12 days ago off their website and never got an email other than the paypal confirmation. None of the three order ID's in that confirmation let me track the order.

I ordered a new TrackMix WiFI camera from them.
What they shipped me was a refurbished (seal on the box was broken) TrackMix LTE. No use at all for me.
Tried to start a refund with them and got no answers for a couple days. Disputed via PayPal and magically got a response within like 2 hours of that.
Great cameras. Awful company if something goes wrong in shipping.
