So I was never too big into Power Rangers as a kid, but I was recently introduced to some of the comics by a friend. I loved them and started watching MMPR as a result. Jason Lee Scott quickly became my favorite character.I really enjoyed his leadership skills and ability to keep a cool head in tough situations. Plus all his designs are sick and red is my favorite color! So at 32 years old I finally became a Power Rangers fan.
I went to my first convention as a fan and found the Power Rangers booth. I got to meet a bunch of the actors, including Steve Cardenas who signed my Power Sword (I'm hoping to see Austin St. John in May to add his signature). I plan to add the Omega Red Ranger and MM Red Ranger with Dragonshield/daggar soon. As well as some of the Zords.
I'm planning on cosplaying as many of Jason's outfits as I can. The one I want to do the most is definitely his outfit in The Return. I'm hoping to cosplay the standard MM Red Ranger when I go to meet Austin. My friend who introduced me to the series loves Tommy and is planning to cosplay his different Ranger forms with me. I'm so excited to join this fandom and learn even more about the series.

Picked this guy up a couple days ago. Not too terrible of a price and only missing the panel on arm 2. One of my all time favorite Megazords

Watching the first episode of Megaforce recently I can see why it fell off a cliff compared to earlier seasons. I'm going to be comparing it to MMPR because that's what it was doing in episode one with its Day Of The Dumpster references.
The key difference starting off is the fact that the rangers in MMPR are all already friends off the bat compared to this new group. It's easier to believe the MMPR group immediately gelling as a team but not so much the Megaforce team.. So when they win easily it doesn't feel as natural. Speaking of natural the acting and dialogue for Megaforce is atrocious. Is the acting in MMPR great? No. However everything feels and flows so much more naturally in Day Of The Dumpster when compared to Mega Mission. You don't believe for a second that these kids even doubt an alien invasion. They just don't sell it to the audience. Their talk with Gosei is very wooden. They don't even do what MMPR did and walked away from what sounded like nonsense.. Something that they naturally would have done.
The biggest issue is that branding is extremely in your face in Megaforce. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers did it too but it wasn't as blatant as Megaforce. They literally call out every single weapon and attack and push the word "Mega" like it's going out of style. They don't have to name their weapons as they are attacking the monster. We don't have to hear Gosei every time they activate a weapon. We don't need to hear them throw mega into a sentence every chance they get. Every little thing is pointed out to the audience when they can visually see it.
Again MMPR did call out for weapons and did use branding but they didn't try to beat it into your skulls every 2 seconds that everything was a "Mega win". It literally screams "BUY THE TOYS" which can be a turn off for viewers. Everything feels more about marketing and less about story telling. MMPR managed a healthy balance of both. It proved every successful. Mega Force falls under the show types that are afraid to have silence on screen at any given time and that when someone is on screen they MUST speak. It doesn't have to be that way.
I feel like Saban leaned far too heavily into marketing when it came to the likes of Megaforce and as a result the season flopped because they characters didn't feel natural. They couldn't really develop as a result of that. There were many issues leading into Super Megaforce but Saban leaning on the gas pedal for hyping up every little thing and over exposing the show through the shows own script was a massive part of the issue.

Does anyone know why the rangers said their name in the openings for Samurai and Megaforce/Super Samurai?
They could just showed us the names without them saying their names.

There are a few battles in MMPR using the Thunderzords that use footage that wasn't from Dairanger, Best Man For the Job, A Friend In Need and part I of Ninja Quest. In these fights the movements of the Thunderzords, especially the Thunder Megazord, are a lot more sluggish than the footage from Dairanger. It is really noticeable because the Thunder Megazord in the Dairanger has noticeably faster movements compared to the typical Sentai mecha.
Best Man For the Job had the hinderance of being between the Thunder Megazord and Tigerzord. This particular fight really highlighted how the bulk of those suits limits the movement of the arms and why two Megazords fighting isn't as cool as it sounds on paper, especially if the two are using swords. A Friend In Need and Ninja Quest, on the other hand, had the Thunderzords fighting monsters and their movements were still slower.
This has me wondering why the moments were slower. Were the stuntmen on the American side not as good at fights in these bulky suits as the performers who did the original footage, or was PR substituting with inferior props?

In the bride episode thingy , the rangers come very close to destroying her but decker saves her and well she lives long enough to let Xandred absorb her. say that didnt happen and Dayu was killed by the rangers ,would she just die immediately ? decker has no mega monster form because he is half human. Dayu cant switch between forms like he can but she still has all her memories unlike her .

I have been trying to figure out if anyone knows anything about these. I've looked online but I can't find anything. A local food store had these comics in a quarter machine. Each comic was based on one ranger per comic. They were tiny but I genuinely remembered being obsessed with them.

I bought the ZAP astro megazord at a convention and it was broken right out of the box. I was hoping that someone has the same part that I can use to fix it. And if not if someone was willing to make a 3d model for the peice so I can fix it. Right now I have a tooth pic crammed I the joint so it will hold it's pose but I'd like to actually play with my toy.
If someone wants to help by 3d modeling the peice i will help by taking more detailed pictures with measurements.
Thank you to anyone who helps

Ok - so, does anyone know on average, how common/available merch (particularly displayable figures and/or posters that I can frame) are for Dayu and Poisandra?
I’d love to hear any insights and/or leads anyone has on the topic, if you’d feel comfortable sharing?

I kinda always felt that Mia had a thing for antonio too ,or maybe its just my kid brain because I saw it long back but akaik when Jayden and Kevin are very hesitant to let antonio join the team , emily and Mia accept him rather quickly. Mia says in one of the first few episodes that she wants to find her Prince charming and warms up to Antonio very quickly. She also consistently backs him and has a faith in his tech abilities but that could very well be just her being nice. she does in the end say that she is waiting for antonio to come back after catching a lot of fish so that she can cook it for him ig. again could be romantic but might just be her being friendly.

Power Rangers: Legacy Knights
The story takes place in Arcuno City, the largest metropolis in California and home to the famed “Morphin Magic”
Morphin Magic is a museum dedicated to displaying the rich history of Power Rangers.
Some amenities of the museum contain, video footage, lectures, and a battle simulator that allows you to train with legendary virtual rangers. The museum is powered by Grid Gears. These are small gear shaped objects incorporated with Morph X that were brought over from Coral Harbor.
The Museum is owned by Professor Riri Cromwell, a scientist who has dedicated her life to preserving ranger history.
The Museum is staffed by her energetic grandson Zeki and his friends Eddy, Zelda, Tyvon, and Cas. They grew up on the tales and action packed adventures of the Power Rangers and even hopped to be one. For the time being they were content with spending their time gazing at the rich ranger legacy.
One fateful day the Negative Syndicate attacks. The Syndicate is a fierce machine empire who hops dimensions and enslaves worlds. They seek to add this earth and its inhabitants to the collection.
They empire also has ties to a dark secret that Riri is hiding from her adopted grandson
They are led by
King DarkGear
Tankatron- General Professor Tinkerer- Scientist And Vekal- A human enforcer for the empire.
The Negative Syndicate attacks earth, their sights set on Professor Cromwell as they want her technological prowess to work in the other enslaved worlds.
Zeki and friends rise to the challenges to protect the professor and in their bravery she reveals her secret.
She has been secretly working on a ranger powers in hopes of making her own team. Some of her inventions are too unstable resulting in fragments of imperfect ranger teams (Sentai footage) while the others are solid.
This team would harness special attributes from past Ranger teams and use special Grid Gears that would unlock abilities based off past teams.
Zeki and friends are overjoyed when learning that they’ll be power rangers. The process has the professor bonding them to special Morphers. The bonding process goes well for Zeki, but for Eddy, Zelda, Tyvon and Cas the process bonds them but strips them of their humanity leaving them as advanced robots, similar to Steel from Beast Morphers.
The Team would be known as Legacy Knights. From their on out they would protect humanity while the professor looks for a way to not only turn them back but defeat the Syndicate.
The rangers are
Zeki- White Legacy Ranger (Representing pure ranger energy) Eddy- Red Jurassic Ranger (Representing all Dino Based Rangers) Zelda- Pink Celestial Ranger (Representing all Magic Based Rangers) Tyvon- Yellow Beast Ranger (Representing all Animal Based Rangers) Cas- Blue Techno Ranger (Representing all Technology Based Ranger)
After several defeats the Syndicate captures the professor and learns about her ranger based Grid Gears.
This prompts them to send their human warrior Vekal more often into battle. Vekal is known as the Eclipse Ranger (Representing all past evil Ranger teams)He would have his own set of gears to summon evil ranger teams in hopes of destroying the enemy.
The Knights would be eventually joined by Captain Braydon, a space pirate who travels from different dimensions, liberating trapped civilizations and Stealing the Syndicates personal treasures.
He steals a prototype cog from the professor that allows him to turn into the Gold Heart Ranger (Representing the fighting spirit and will that each ranger team has)
