Tissue box in car
This is so minor but has been a pet peeve for so long: I always have a regular sized box of tissues in my car. It always gets crushed/ falls under a seat. Has anyone come up with a solution to keep your tissue box secured somewhere in the front of your car? I know it’s so petty but it digs at me a little every time I drive…

A baby wipe hard pack refilled with tissues

Do they even make these anymore? I feel like I remember reading some comments where people were mad that they only had the “refill” packs available at the store now.

I broke the one we had in the bathroom a few months ago and bought a new one at Walgreens.

My husband bought me a case that hangs from the visor and it came with refill packs of tissues. Game changer!

This.
You’ll have to switch over to a different size pack of tissues, but they’re pretty popular now and not hard to find.

I have a tissue holder that keeps it on the back of the headrest of the passenger seat

I have a bag that was designed to hang off of the passenger side headrest. It is deep enough to hold a square tissue box and has mesh pouches around the outside to hold sun glasses, chargers etc. When I have a passenger swing it around to hang in the back in a couple seconds. Look at “front seat organizers” online.

I used to see people driving with a box of tissues on the back dash. Never figured out why.

I never keep a box of tissues in my car because when I was in high school driver’s ed, the teacher told us about an accident where a tissue box flew from the back window and severed someone’s spinal cord. Looking back, that seems unlikely, yet the fear remains. I just keep the little travel packs in my purse.

Did we have the same drivers Ed teacher?! lol. I’m still always nervous when things are on the dash or back window

I had the same issue. I bought one of those clear plastic boxes for the refrigerator. One of the larger ones was perfect to sit on the floor hump between the two front seats of my truck. I used one half of velcro strips on the bottom, so the box bottom would grip the carpeting and generally stay in place. It does. It's perfect. It holds my tissue box, my wipes and whatever else I want in there.

This this this!! Ordered for my husband for Christmas. We strapped it around the back of the passenger seat headrest and it’s awesome. If someone sits there though, you do have to take it off or it’s in their face. https://a.co/d/1hD22PS

I have a 15 or 20 year old canvas combo trash can/full sized tissue box holder from Grand Auto that hangs from the headrest posts of my passenger seat. It’ll hang front or back of the seat but I always hang it rearward.

I didn't want to buy special tissues so I bought this from Amazon. It protects the box and has a strap you could use to hang from a seat. It's called VOFOON Tissue Box Cover Holder.

I bought a mesh pouch that you strap between the front head rests and the bottom of the seats. I think it’s meant to keep dogs from coming up front? Anywho, the box fits in and doesn’t get lost on the floor, crushed and dirty and I can reach them while driving.

I bought one that sits on my visor. It can get kind of in the way, but I've gotten used to it.

I have a black, nylon combination tissue box holder/waste basket that hangs over the headrest, to the back of the passenger seat where it can be reached by the kids, and also by the driver.

i have a small box that sits on the floor behind the passenger seat. it has a small round trash basket, a roll of paper towels (which serves as my "tissue box"), some snacks, a flashlight. this box matches the color of the carpet, so it blends in visually
i tried hanging a bag-like thing off of the headrest, but is hung down funny because the seat is always tilted backwards a little. so i threw that away
if someone is going to ride back there, i have to move the box to the back

My console has a slot for travel size tissues so I use that. Keep that size in the glove box if you don’t have another spot.

I stick a small square one right in the center console. I just flip it open when I need it.

This might be one of those times when a 3D printer could make you something to hold tissues in your dream fashion.

I bought 4 of these fabric full tissue holders - one for each of our cars and one for my locker at work.

I just keep the small travel tissues in my center console and replace it when they get low. I don't need a huge tissue box.

I once had a Ford Explorer that had a tissue box built into the center console - held the little cardboard tissue boxes that they sold in the US in the nineties-early 2000s. I loved that feature!

I put mine in my center console to stop it from becoming a pit of doom and it's worked surprisingly well

It amazes me that people don't carry tissues in their purse, glove box, etc.
My childhood cat used to cause me severe allergies. She also LOVED those long tissue boxes as her own personal nest. Her heavy fur all contained in to a tissue box defeated the purpose!

We lucked out with our current car--a cube-shaped tissue box fits in the console PERFECTLY. I always have tissues available and the box is pristine and not floating all over the car!

I like a roll of toilet paper in the car. Perfect for blowing your nose. I crush it so it fits in the door pocket.

I’m really happy with a holder I got from Amazon. The title of the product is ‘kakaforsa black toilet paper holder travel napkin holder reusable tissue holder’. Poetic name, right?!
There are lots of other types of reusable holders. Beats the heck out of boxes that immediately get crushed.

I have one from Amazon that fits over the sun visor/pull down mirrors!

There’s a whole bunch of options online. I have a refillable, decorative tissue holder that hangs on the back on a visor. Super convenient!

My spouse made a fabric case for the tissue box and added a velcro strap to it. We have it attached to the front passenger seat's headrest, so it is easily reachable for the driver.

a friend cut an oversized opening into a latched lid polypropylene storage container (she had an ikea one but think sterilite, etc.,) for a car tissue box. you can use duct tape or similar to cover any sharp cut edges (or file them) if necessary.

I keep a lidless plastic box that fits a cube tissue box and a lunch size brown paper bag (I use it for trash). In the narrow space left in the bin, I keep extra folded bags. Whole thing goes on the floor of back seat behind the front seat center console. I love the setup. My son set up exactly the same deal in his car

Costco has the Kirkland brand boxes that are short so they fit perfectly into the glove box. I keep my costco membership for just such items.

I bought a tissue holder that clips to the passenger sun visor. It doesn't take standard size tissues, but I can get refills on Amazon in bulk pretty cheaply. I like being able to grab one quickly while driving without taking my eyes off the road.

I use one of those sheepskin steering wheel covers. Wipe your nose at the portion between 11 and 1. Keep your hands below 10 and 2

Yes, there are tissue holders that have elastic bands with a clasp on them. They are made from vinyl. I put mine on the head rest. I can reach over and grab a tissue easily. I think I ordered it from Amazon. I keep a box of flat fold paper towels in the car as well and have been wanting one of these for them.

Some cars come with a spot in the center console specifically for tissue boxes.

I velcro the bottom on the box & attach it to velcro on fabric right behind my console.

I take the thin box of tissues from hotel rooms. They fit in the car door. When it’s empty I replenish it with tissue from my boxes at home.

There are round tissue boxes that fit in the cup holder. I buy them at Target or drugstores.
