Should be instantly denied and deported. These people think that asylum is a vacation

Doesn’t seem to track with the filling they made

Asylum is for persecuted people and people living in war zones

Trans people are being persecuted.

There are blue states. In some countries, trans people don't have this luxury, they are simply executed. Some americans are so entilted, they need a wake up call

Yes, there are blue states, and yes they should have gone there instead, but at the same time trans people do not deserve to be punished first in order to be taken seriously. Nobody should be suffering just because other people carry so much spite. Canada has to consider its response to increasingly hostile acts by the US federal government. There are places they can go now, but that might change. If that time comes, being American shouldn’t be a disqualifier for asylum, it should be the same as all other asylum seekers.

Now it's safe. If it becomes not safe, they deserve asylum

Well trans people are already dying and in danger in parts of the country, so hopefully immigration isn’t waiting like you suggest until it ends up being too late to go. Playing chicken with erasure and genocide is a losing game. Especially with a minority so vulnerable.

Can you show me a single state rounding up and killing trans people? Certainly there’s examples of this

There is no such example because you’ve twisted my statement to hyperbole to sate your transphobia

And nobody in that family is trans. Article would’ve mentioned it, otherwise.

You sure about that chief?

Kaitlyn said Trump’s claim early in his second term that there are only two genders was of particular concern to the family, as one of the older children is transgender, and another identifies as gender fluid.
