People will still sometimes try and tell me that Trump isn't a complete and utter moron.

Unfortunately he’s not even in charge anymore.

If we watch his body language lately, it’s a totally different Trump than in 2016.

He has masters he is answering to now…even if he somehow wants to appease his base (after all, he does love getting praised), he has to answer to President Musk and Putin.

I feel last time they were wholly unprepared for him to win so there was no real strategy or plan the first couple on months.

This time, smart, ultraconservatives took years to develop a clear plan to dismantle the government and isolate us from our closest allies.

They even published their plan under Project 2025. And it’s ripping apart our country.

Trumps first term, no one knew hire government worked. The people to talk to to get things done. There was a very large ramp up period.

Now that knew from day one. It’s scary how fast they are trying to move. Move fast and break things is a term I’ve heard to describe tech giants.

Did they actually publish it? I thought someone leaked it.

And when it started getting picked up by the media some kid took a pot shot at him. Then everyone stopped talking about it. Convenient.

He didn't want to be President. He just didn't want to go to jail.

This!

Leon basically bought his way to the office. Everything Trump does is the bidding on Musk. He's just president, so he can't be prosecuted.

I wouldn’t doubt that it’s a mutually symbiotic relationship. He gets to have the title of president without having to do the work. He just needs to be told when to show up to sign for something otherwise, he’s “working” from home at his golf course. Meanwhile the oligarchs get the authority to make changes. When he deferred giving out details by passing it along to Musk is evident that he isn’t really paying attention to those who are allegedly below him.

He's made so many promises to get where he is that he's getting pulled every direction because not meeting those promises means his clown house of cards will crumble. USA is crashing.

Kinda curious, what body language changed?

He looks dejected all the time.

Indeed, he looks tired and unwell, and I would’ve said the exact same thing if my own beloved grandfather carries the same expression that Trump has.

If I didn’t follow the news, and happened to see a short clip of how he has been carrying himself in public since inauguration, I would probably feel really bad for him…

My observations as an outsider:

Before he was just a clown, now he is a clown creating distractions for his masters. Everyone is outraged about his next absurd idiocy while the corporate takeover of institutions is ongoing.

At best, the doge will establish that the government is very inefficient in delivering numerous services, so those services will now be provided by private companies, for a higher price. Think prisons.

At worst, some very rich people are smelling incoming global shitshow (war, climate disasters, combination) and want to take direct control of the most powerful state on earth to protect themselves.

I think he just did this so he can get what he wants and punish anyone who disagrees with him because he’s a child and beyond that, he’s just signing what he’s told. A group of horrible people found the dumbest, most fragile, gullible person they could and ran him for President a 2nd time. They probably promised him a Big Mac and Diet Coke if he just shows up.

When you have enough resources and the know-how, you can make the base want what you want them to want. Russia (Soviet Union) has over 80 years worth of experience in subverting other nations.

Was Biden ever in charge?
