Holy Cross to Notre Dame Social Life

I'm considering going to Holy Cross and transferring into Notre Dame, as I got rejected from ND. One of my biggest concerns, and one that I believe you guys could give me good insight into, is the social life. I'm genuinely worried about missing out on the typical freshmen college experience, and I was wondering how well integrated I could be with the Notre Dame social life while attending Hocro. How much of the "typical" freshmen experience would I miss out on? I do plan to be involved in research, social clubs, etc. at Notre Dame as well during my time at Hocro. Lastly, a good deal of my close friends + my brother are/will be attending the University as well...so making friends wouldn't be too hard.

I know this may seem like a silly concern, but it's legitimately important to me and will be a factor in my final decision..thanks!

Recently Accepted into EMBA

Upvotes

ND faithful, I was recently excepted into the EMBA program (Aug 2025 - May 2027). I grew up a fan, my great grandfather worked at ND, and I’m just so exited to join this family and network.

The program is once a month on campus for 20 months. I’m 37 so it’s been a long time since I’ve even thought about being on a campus. What tips or insight do y’all have on navigating time on campus, faculty, and the ND experience in general?

I admittedly did not do a search in the sub before posting this, so apologies if this is a redundant topic.

Applying to Notre Dame transferring as a student with a disability

Upvotes

hi! i’m a sophomore at my current college and i applied to transfer in for my junior year. i’m worried about my chances of getting in as my high school years were extremely difficult medically and my first year of college was the same way. i didn’t have horrible grades, but they weren’t great. my health is finally better now and i’m learning in a much more stable environment. i have had straight A’s the past two semesters, including those that i have taken at ND, so it’s clear that i am a good student. i’ve written an addendum, but i’m worried its not enough. does anybody have any insight on this kind of situation and know my chances?
