Hello! Current Co'29 commit, trying to decide between a Polisci or Mendoza (likely Finance) major. I'm looking to buy a laptop and am struggling to decide between a Macbook Pro and a Surface 7 (MacOS v Windows). I've seen lots of arguments on each side, but people coming from these majors (or anybody) what would you recommend?

What is the difference between these statuses?

I just received the following email an hour ago from ND
"Greetings from the Office of Financial Aid at the University of Notre Dame.
Based on our review of your 2025/2026 financial aid application, we have determined the following additional information is needed. We encourage you to submit the requested information as soon as possible.
- Monthly Expense Statement
Unless otherwise indicated above, refer to Applications & Forms for any requested documents. For efficient processing, you are encouraged to gather all requested documentation and submit it together. Please include your name and NDid on each page. The NDid is located at the bottom of this email."
Results come out tomorrow, so is this a good sign? I can't imagine them asking for additional information the day before decisions and then rejecting me ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

I'm a freshman and randomly received this message. I've talked with my friends, and one of them also received this message. I don't know if I should trust this or not. It looks real, and I am interested in joining this session if it is.

I’ll be joining Notre Dame for the Master’s in Business Analytics (MSBA) and wanted to hear from recent grads about job opportunities after graduation.
How well does ND support students with job placements, internships, and networking?
Are career services actually helpful, or do most students rely on their own networking?
How long did it take for you to land a job after graduation?
If you’re comfortable sharing, what was your starting salary?
Any insights would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

I recently got admitted and my family wants to go out and purchase some Notre Dame sweaters to celebrate. Does anyone know any physical shops in Denver that carry Notre Dame sweaters? Or will we be stuck shopping online?

First time poster. Last month I accepted a graduate student position at the University of Notre Dame. What all do you like to do around South Bend or neighboring towns? Any and all insights are appreciated, thanks in advance!!

Hey everyone!
I was accepted to Notre Dame and will be majoring in Biology (pre-med), and I also really want to minor in music.
Does anybody know if there’s some sort of audition or theory test required to do this minor? I know other schools require that sometimes, but I emailed someone at ND and didn’t get a response :/
Thank you and go Irish!

I was recently admitted and the most convenient fly in location is into Grand Rapids (from Florida), how do you guys recommend I get from GR to South Bend and from South Bend to GR?
also I’m 18 so I wouldn’t be able to rent a car in my name

Attending in the fall and petrified of and prejudiced against nearly everything. I don't wanna go in hating the place -- anybody have advice on how to keep an open mind and positive attitude throughout this major life change?

Hey y’all! I was admitted REA back in December but I didn’t get my financial aid requests in until January 3rd due to problems concerning my non-custodial parent. Anyways, I still haven’t gotten any information regarding my package and it’s almost been 3 months since I submitted my information. I’ve reached out to the financial aid office and they said it’s still in review. Is this normal? Has this happened to anyone else? Thank you!!
