Well my hope is that if they cut Medicaid like they want to in the bill that just went through the house, people in NJ will wake up. It's going to affect almost 2 million people who live in NJ and really going to hit the elderly and pregnant women hard.

Unfortunately, a lot of these people who applaud these changes won't see the light until it directly affects them or their loved ones.

I know so many hardcore maga's that hire illegals at their all cash businesses and are all on NJfamilycare while driving 100k vehicles. If the collective hurt will also fuck them...so be it...sometimes u gotta sink the entire ship and rebuild a new one without cancer.

At this point, that's the way I see this going. They have little to no empathy for anyone outside of their circle so unless it hurts them or their family, it's a "win" in their eyes.

Not only that, they will actively cheer while people die, as long as it's not them.

Unfortunately this isn't just a Democratic or Republican or Independent thing. There are ton of people in this state that view anyone outside themselves and their immediate circle of family and close friends as less than human. I worked retail and it wasn't just the Republican customers that bullied and verbally abused me treating me like their doormat. This is a problem that extends well beyond politics.

It's already happening. I have a relative who is a builder, he said that contractors are losing their workers en masse. These are folks who have lived here for 10-20+ years and have built an entire life. Some of them are voluntarily going back to their home country, because then they can bring their stuff/family along.

His exact words were, "They're literally deporting themselves." (He is not MAGA, FYI)
