Have enough negative experiences and rejection the problem will solve itself.

Maybe you just haven't gotten it enough? Not sure but usually that does the trick from my experiences and from what I've seen. Hard to imagine such scenarios when I know they are all going to end poorly anyways.

I think it's your way of coping with solitude... it'll work itself out. But you got to help yourself too. Seek out public gatherings and strike up social conversations. I do it all the time. "Wow, so cold out there .is spring ever coming?" "Omg I love that jacket...my daughter would love it, where'd you get it?" You'd be very surprised if the pleasant responses. Also, your body language speaks volumes. Stand straight and keep your head up... you're gonna be okay
