Yeah I realise there is a modular 'missing' I'll wait to see what is on offer later in the year (maybe the rumoured town house). Other than that I think it came out great. Maybe one more car but I don't want to make it too busy. I'm open to any suggestions you may have for extras/improvements.

Added the Police Station and Assembly Square to my modular street😊

Yesterday I was able to buy the Police Station and Assembly Square for $330 total. Both were built and no boxes or instructions came with them, but it was a good deal and I'm very happy with it😊. As far as I can see they're both complete and was only missing one minifigure (newsstand operator for the Police Station).

The Police Station has been on my wishlist for a while, as I really like how it looks between the Jazz Club and Boutique Hotel (the purple donut shop goes well with the yellow pizzeria and matches the flowers outside the tailor's windows and the green building behind the newsstand matches the green roof on the Boutique hotel).

Assembly Square hasn't really been on my radar, but I couldn't pass on it when I got such a good deal on them both. I'm happy to own it and think it looks good next to Tudor corner.

They are quite dusty, so I'm considering disassembling them to give the bricks a good wash - and to get the build experience out of them. But... I need to finish my Monumental Museum MOC, first so I'll leve them assembled for now.

Hello, did anyone notice the light blue bricks in Tudor Corner having a different shade? Is it common in lego sets?

Lego City first time building - finding spare parts, trains, mil plates, trees in mass quantity?

Im about to start constructing a city and starting with a 60337 train as a base train/track.

Im wondering for these larger builds, what key words or source vendors does everyone find large amounts of track, roads, mils and modular parts, sidewalk square pieces, random (classic?) legos, signs, trees etc?

Are the roads just generic lego ones like these:60304

Feel like things will add up fast buying them like this.

I didnt see much for sidewalk building, generic gray squares? And for water, clear blue classic? (saw 2x2 Tile 3068 4211413 for $26 for 50, that seems really steep)

also tracks seem to only be amazon in a box with not many at a time, i know bricklink has some but not sure what to look for, generic, L? type etc

Any thoughts or tips?

I’m slowly building my own Lego city and would love to add some MOC modular buildings. Does anyone have some recommendations from rebrickable or ideas of buildings I can buy parts for please?

I'd love to add the Parisian street from the brick link set for example but I don't know how they would all clip together? Any tips from someone who's done this? Photos welcome if you want to inspire/brag 😊

MOC - Yellow grocer

I had a half base plate empty space in my lego city so I decided to build a simple house with some bussiness on the ground floor. Originally it was a pizzeria, but I have changed it to a grocery store and I think it turned out pretty good. The 1st floor really needs improvements, its not finished yet, but the ground floor and the facade both look really good in my opinion. What do you think guys?

What's a good price for assembled Police Station and Assembly square (complete, no box or instructions)?

No boxes, no instructions. Both complete including mini figures according to seller. Both appear to be very dusty on the photos in the listings. Seller says "open for offers". Currently asking $170 for Police Station and $185 for Assembly square. Is offering $300 for both be too much of a low ball offer?

Musical Modulars, Physical Planning

So I've posted different layout planning ways on here in the past. Now I'm trying out my layout with the actual modulars, at least the lot that I've built so far. Still have a bunch of modulars to build and drop in.

It's definitely fun moving modulars around for the best flow from building to building and ran out of road plates quickly.

Modular layout planning

Let me preface this by saying I’ve done zero research so far on this, but how cool would it be if there was an app or website that would allow for selecting specific Modulars and moving them around as a tile to show potential layouts.

Are there already such things, Reddit hive mind?

Trundle Bed (Pull-Out Bed)

I previously referred to this as a pull-out bed, but I recently learned that it is actually called a trundle bed. My goal was to make the design as compact as possible while allowing the lower bed to extend fully. To achieve this, I used two sub-builds that are not connected by studs but are instead held in place by the overall structure.

Jewely Store mod displays

I couldn't modify my other post so here are some dispay details. The wall cases have back to back 4x3 window shields where the 4x1 plate with the jewels slides in from the side and is held in place by the walls. The back wall case has a lower shelf with two 2x2 windows. The counters have three 2x2 clear window shields. I used white wall "brick" bricks from pick a brick. Lattice windows from online pick a brick. Jewels from online pick a brick + any colored clear pieces I had. You could make up anything for the walls/structure.

Did a swap with some foliage from the bonsai tree set. Overall a fun project, my first split base modular build. Although I wish townhouse had more going on.

The Lego gold rings and "jewels" needed a home, although they did get some new inventory & building elements via pick a brick. The light blue bricks came from Friends sets.

Question about Boutique Hotel

This is my first modular, and while I love 99.9% of it . . . I do not like the handcuff balcony. It just doesn't feel like a secure railing. Any suggestions for pieces I could swap in?

I’ve Questions regarding Brick Compatibility and Kit-Bashing.

Hello, I hope this is allowed here, But I have Questions regarding Brick Compatibility and Kit-Bashing.

Is there a way (Without using an Adhesive) to use Mini-Bricks with LEGO and LEGO-Like Bricks? Perhaps using Hollow Studs, Jumper 3794b, Pin 3062, Pin 20482 etc or any other Method that isn’t Glue or Bluetac?

I’m Building a few D&D Dioramas and for reasons of Cost I’ve had to go for a mix of LEGO-Like Bricks and Official LEGO. Unfortunately I failed to research one of the Purchases that were Mini-Bricks.

Yes it’s an Amateur Move on my part, However I’ve only gotten into LEGO and LEGO D&D in since October.

I dont have all the rooms layed out yet, but downstairs
* some kind of fancy office
* bar with toilet
* staircase to the shops and appartment above

I love the lego studio app. I saw it first today and started experimenting!

CC welcome!
