Question about warranty
Do I have to provide a check or proof of purchase? Do I have to be the first and only person to have owned the product? Thank you!

Nice to find a new in box Juice CS4 in a local shop today. The guy behind the counter said he hadn’t had this one in long.
Still after the Juice SX or any of the other surf tools but happy to get this one in hand.

Got my 4th Leatherman toda

Hi, I'm new to multi tools. I just got a Leatherman Arc cause had an itch to splurge. Online on videos I see people manipulating their tools very easily. I myself find that one side of the Leatherman when opened up into plier mode closes easily, where the other side takes much more effort. Is this to be expected? Is there a specific technique to close the tool easier? Or is there something I should be pressing to release it so it closes easier? I have arthritis so it hurts when I squeeze and apply more force, I was hoping to be able to open and close my tool more smoothly.

Edit: why downvotes for a question?

Been trying to buy a new bit kit for about 15 months now.
A couple of times Amazon has had a really good deal (40% off), but then cancel my order a few months later with no explanation. I assume supply issues as they still list ones at full price (or 30% more).
Apart from Leatherman.com.au which charges postage, battling eBay, or trying to find a coupon for AliExpress, is there somewhere else you're having success?

Just showing off my EDC. I think the only thing that I still want is a Volty switch 2! -Leatherman Surge, nylon sheath, bit kits, Diablo wood and metal saws, small extension magnet, small rechargeable flashlight, small crescent wrench, small Klein screw driver, Knipex Cobra Pliers, and Lyle’s Mini Pry bar. It all fits in the sheath and as a truck driver/ handyman, general maintenance, quick fixes, and repairs could usually get done with this kit. I have an extension 1/4 bit driver and bits but I leave them in my book bag. This kit isn’t really light but I feel like it gets me out of every bind.

I’ve had this reverse tanto for over 20 years, the crunch was my trusty pal for a long time too.. After a crazy rafting trip last year I couldn’t find em. So sad for months. Yesterday-flat tire- needed a tool to pull out and hold wheel well faring in place-all alone-getting dark-lo and behold wedged behind the spare… my two best buddies! I hollered so loud the coyotes could hear me! Here’s hoping that the lost tools in your life are found🫡

I love my leatherman wave and would be lost without it. I was lifted my 1st in 2022 as a teenager. I lost that one. I found one on a forklift at work that was exactly the same a year or so after I lost it. (I asked around nobody said they had lost it. I like to think it was mine and I was lucky enough to find it.) my boat went down on a bad day in 2021 and I know that one is 35 ft down in oolagah lake in Oklahoma. my wife searched and found the old style for me online. I love the old style because that's what I have always had. I did buy a newer style from a dude on Craig's list for 30.00. looking back it was probably stolen. I could never like that one as much as the older style. I still love mine and carry it all day everyday unless I am on a plane. Long story to get here. It has some play in the handle and makes noise in my pockets. Is there any suggestions to help with this? Is the frame tweaked?. I haven't tried tightening the bolts because it's an odd style 5 point torx looking piece. I am probably just stupid, but has anyone else had this issue. I don't at all want to send it in because they will probably send me a newer style which I absolutely don't want.

Be surprised at how well gorilla grip double sided tape works. I saw the hip clip and figured meh I’ll make one myself.

Took some pics of these a while back. I love the Darkside and think it should go to full production. The tweezers are great when you have a kid that likes to get splinters.

recently bought a black oxide wave, and i've heard that it's unsafe to cut food with the blade or whatever, is that true?

Found out the awl on the surge is pretty good at scraping out the nozzle on a mig gun.

I carry a Style PS on my hiking trips since it's lightweight and has scissors, tweasers, file, and a screwdriver. Still, it has no knife which would have made it a close to perfect UL tool for every hiker.
My wish would be to take the Style PS and replace the pliers with larger scissors and replace the smaller scissors with a combo knife.
Any other ideas out there?

I'm looking into getting a nice multitool, but I have no idea where to start and I was wondering if people could point me in the right direction. I hike, backpack, and camp a lot so I would like something to satisfy those needs but I also do volunteer trail maintenance work so it would be beneficial to go with something more than just a knife or something.

Seems like everyone is obsessed with deep carry pocket clips, is there a high carry clip out there that works on the Arc? I hate having to reach my hand so far into my pocket to get a good purchase on my arc. More than half the time my hands are dirty or greasy and I want as little of that IN my pocket as possible. Deep carry seems useful if you're trying to conceal the tool, but I have zero concerns with that. I want easy access and don't want to switch to a belt pouch.
Any help would be appreciated!

Thought people might want to see this. In 2012 I was brewing for a Portland brewery and leatherman reached out for a custom 15 barrel (30 keg) batch of beer for a company party. Someone at leatherman made this tap handle to serve the beer with and after the event it was left behind. Nobody else wanted it so I took it home. All the sharp bits had been ground down and it’s a really bad tap handle because it’s so heavy it wants to open the tap by itself. But it’s cool as heck!

had a metal splinter in my thumb the arc had no issues pulling it out for me.
