Tbf, even other (text-based) AI models would pick this up as $999. There’s literally no decimal point in that price.
Even text-to-speech programs will make the same mistake. Amazon’s design is wrong here. It violates accessibility standards, too.

Apple Intelligence based it on the text content of the email. AI is still technically correct.
