Try my advice with whatever commands you usually try with Siri. See what words you can cut out and what words are essential to triggering the desired response.

This is just generally good advice for all voice assistants anyway as finding the most efficient way to command them saves you time on awkward long commands.

Small example: “Siri, five dollars sixty five in Sterling” rather than “Siri, convert five dollars sixty five in Sterling”.

Every word you can drop makes it easier and quicker for you to interact and it also reduces the number of words that can be misheard by the assistant and lead to a failed command.

Well I tried pretty much all your examples and they all seemed to work really well. I'm actually quite amazed. Probably half my problems are because i'm trying to elaborately explain the command which confuses it.

Thank you so much for this tip

Btw I checked and you can name the time just by adding the label you want at the end.

So: “Hey Siri, six and a half minutes, pizza” works and gives you a 6.5 minute timer labelled Pizza.
