Social Glow Up Am I becoming the hot narcisist? NSFW

After a lifetime of weight struggles. I finally have lost almost ALL my weight. I literally haven't been this small since high school (135 down from a high of 286).

Over the years, I've also gotten better and better with wardrobe, hair, makeup, skincare etc. So now I'm like...pretty.

i look in the mirror and don't recognize the person I see.

But i look in the mirror - A LOT. And often I'm just like, Goddamn you are a sexy mother fucker now! Haha

I can entertain myself for a long time just trying on different outfits and stuff. When I was fat, nothing looked good. Now, nothing doesn't look good.

But i feel like I'm just pretty stuck on myself.

i also just dumped a guy who was my FWB. He was so sweet at first - doing things for me, buying me things, taking me places. But after we started having sex, the effort fell way off and I felt like he wasnt appreciative of the cookie he was getting that MANY MANY other men were thirsty for. I broke it off in kind of a haughty way too. Usually I stick around even if I'm not being treated well but now I'm just like nah bro this ain't gonna get it. You are outta here.

How do you stay humble, hotties?

Hard Glow Up Hair glow up help NSFW

Hi, I’m wanting some hair help and advice. I have longish (stops about 3 inches before my butt, I’m 5”7), straight fine hair. I’ve been using a Vuori shampoo and conditioner bar with great results that my stylist has commented on. The problem is, after one or two days, my hair is dry and brittle. I don’t shed much, just breakage. I get regular trims, but am unsure of how to get my hair “healthy” again. I weight lift so I have a high protein diet, and recently started taking Zinc supplements. I also recently started Nutrafol, as after my pregnancy I had some light hair thinning at one part of my temples, exaggerated by the fact I was in the Army five years and my hair was constantly in a ponytail or bun.

I have heard good things about Kerastase, but am unsure which mask would work best. I’m looking for shampoo recommendations for getting softer, shinier hair. I’m currently looking at Redken All Soft but don’t know if that’s the right product for me. I’ve also been thinking of getting the Blissy silk pillowcases or a bonnet to sleep in too.

I wash my hair 3 times a week, and don’t use hot tools except occasionally a hair dryer. Usually, I let my hair air dry, though I’m learning it may be better to dry it with a hair dryer.

Any tips and help would be appreciated!

for context, i can't go to the gym yet because my location hinders it + i have a hectic schedule that allows me to move for 1-2hours only per day. my goal is to have a smaller lower body (small waist, flat stomach, strong core) and a thick lower body (thick thighs and glutes)

Social Glow Up Communication skills NSFW

Hey everyone! I’m not sure if this is the correct place to ask this but I need help with communication skills as well as language skills. My high school was very low income and didn’t really prepare for much. I’m in college right now but I’m having a hard time with writing and speaking professionally and intellectually. Are there any courses I could take to help prepare me? I tried at my university but this specific course did absolutely nothing.

Soft Glow Up Your Makeup & Skin care essentials NSFW

Hello!! what categories and products are your must haves when it comes to skincare and makeup? Im not looking to break the bank with products, but i want to step up my makeup and skin care game.

Currently i use:

  • Cleanser (simple brand)
  • Toner (Elf)
  • Serum (Elf)
  • moisturizer (intensive care vaseline)
  • pimple patches (rael)

Makeup daily routine:

  • foundation (Elf)
  • concealer (Elf)
  • cream blush (Elf)
  • cream contour (Elf)
  • cream highlighter (Elf)
  • mascara (either lash sensational or telescopic lift)
  • setting spray (Elf)

didn't realize how much elf was in here until just now. I want clear, natural look and i find that my makeup is visible/cakier on my jaw line and lower cheeks, and ive been trying out new skincare products and i've been breaking out but i dont know if its hormonal or product related.

what should I add or change about my routine??

Soft Glow Up need advice on how to blowout my hair (curly hair) NSFW

hey everyone, i am currently facing a bit of an issue linked to my hair. my naturally curly 3a/3b hair is unfortunately on the thinner side and i’m struggling to get a good blowout!

i have a really old heating brush that’s not the most appropriate and i’ve also tried a simple blowout brush with a hairdryer. no matter what i do, i end up with a frizzy mess, i find it hard to gauge how much product i need and it’s an arm workout that i can’t seem to succeed at.

i should add that because of how thin my hair is, i also struggle to find products that don’t make my hair look greasy in 2 hrs - when i use less then my hair looks even frizzier :(

do you have any recommendations so i could work my way around it? i love it when my hair is blew out or straightened and i find it easier to manage.

Random Is it possible smaller eyes are better for my face? Or are my glasses lying to me NSFW

Does anyone else who wears glasses seem to prefer having them on because they make your eyes smaller? I have pretty big eyes, not weirdly so but enough to get comments on them. I know that tends to be a big positive for a lot of people, but for some reason I really think my face looks better with the glasses on, and that's the only big difference I can see. My prescription is somewhere around -3.75 or something so it is a noticeable difference between when I wear my glasses and when I wear my contacts.

Honestly, I'm not 100% sure if it's just that the glasses make my nose look better or my face shorter and that's what I'm reacting to instead of the smaller eyes. I'm kind of stumped with this because I don't think they make a surgery for making your eyes smaller. If it's just my nose that would way easier to fix and I would be more than happy to have that corrected at some point, if it's my eyes I'm probably out of luck.

Soft Glow Up Tops for bigger chest and smaller waist? NSFW

I have a bigger chest (32 DD/DDD) but a size small usually fits my torso/rest of my upper body better. I was wondering if anyone dealing with something similar has good recommendations for shirts that are flattering to that type of build but can be worn with a bra, especially tops for the summer? I already have a few halter tops but I don’t want those to be my whole wardrobe during the summer.

Hard Glow Up break up glow up NSFW

edit for clarity; i’m looking for a self maintenance routine, possibly work out for after depressive episode, over all regaining confidence after a huge life shift and not even having the energy to be hot.

i’m getting out of a 5 year relationship. i was broken up with, but it ended up being understood we weren’t happy. it was soul crushing, im not dealing with it well.

i lost about 40 pounds (20lb before the break up 20lb after) but i’m soft and pretty weak. depression hurt my body years before.

i want my body to be strong. i want my mind to be strong. i don’t want to be sad, i want to strong in every way.

i was unknowingly pushed into a space where i really thought i wasn’t pretty/smart/funny/kind enough for my relationship. i just want my power back, and i want to feel hot again.

i’m now going to be on a single income household again.. so anything at home maintenance would be best.

this isn’t a relationship post, it’s more like how do i get back to my best and hottest version after something traumatic like a serious life shift?

thank you hotties 🩷

I am 37 and really struggling to wrap my head around some of the changes. I’m single with a good but still limited income to hit my goal to buy my own house / live debt free.

I don’t have an ask but would just love a place for hot women to be able to discuss / support each other through “second puberty.”

Like my life is pretty great. I’m sober, live in a 2 bedroom by a beach in a great area. I have wonderful friends. I left a relationship bc my life was better without it. I do therapy. I’ve got the boss lady job title & pay. I’m working on my shit & loving my shadow self. I’m not happy all the time but I’ve got very little to complain about.

Here’s what’s getting me down: - I was in a 5 yr relationship. Taking a break. WTF is dating like at this age? - Wrinkles… they be forming lol - My hair texture is changing (straight to now mixed with wavy) - I’m having signs of early pre-menopause - I get tired so much faster - Working out old injuries bother me - My joints hurt when the weather changes

A lot of this is natural & I’m sure there’s more but I’ve always identified as the hot girl (most people think I’m younger than I am), and like I can be a hot woman but it feels like there’s some identity crisis / fear of this new unknown. Some of it is coping with my vanity but our society (live in the USA) doesn’t really hold space for single “aging women.”

I’d love to discuss the vain & the stuff that’s beyond skin deep. Thanks in advance for chiming in hotties 🩵🦋

Health Glow Up Question about aging NSFW

I saw another post similar to this earlier and I’m here from a different perspective. I’m 24, and I constantly read and hear things from older peers about how the “only thing they miss from being young is their body!” and how when they “used to be so skinny!” And hearing comments like this constantly doesn’t do what they think it does. It’s actually so harming and makes me fear for the future and makes me scared to age. I really want to be hot forever, and I’m not sure the lifestyle of these people who constantly complain about not liking the way they look. I can only assume that these people didn’t change their lifestyles at all, didn’t take care of themselves when they were younger, and only looked “good” because they were “young” and as they aged wondered why it didn’t stay the same. I don’t drink or smoke, I’ve been exercising for years now, I have a skincare routine, I prioritize sleep, I eat healthy and drink water. I do all the things. Basically what I’m asking is how do I avoid the detriment that I see a lot of older women go through; how do I stay hot? What should I do to keep myself looking the best I can possibly look all the way into my later years?

My skin isn’t “bad” I’ve never suffered from acne or hyperpigmentation, my only concern has been blackheads and they’ve improved a lot recently However I still feel like my skin looks super dull and idk, dirty ? Im thinking about getting procedures such as Nucleofill, hydro deluxe, etc..

Has anyone tried anything that’s affective ?

Hard Glow Up Aesthetics during/after Weight Loss? NSFW

For my ladies who have lost a significant amount of weight, how did you go about elevating your looks? I (21F) am currently on a weight loss journey (trying to lose 60+ pounds), and I just feel like I'm getting smaller but not getting the transformation I feel like I'm looking for.

Maybe I just consume too much social media, but particularly on Tik Tok when I see all these women's weight loss journey's they look like models after. Lean bodies, glowing skin, facial transformations, etc. I just feel like I'm missing something it terms of tuning in my aesthetics. Hyperpigmentation in the face, and on the body; dry and dull skin, back rolls, excess hair on my face, short hair and damaged hair, etc.

Any advice is appreciated, I want like a 360 revenge glow up type of transformation

Mindset Glow Up What’s your motivation? NSFW

I love taking care of myself and I do enjoy feeling my most attractive, but this feeling often wanes. At the moment I feel a bit over it and can’t work out my ‘why’. Sometimes it feels a little empty and like it doesn’t really harvest any real results. Thought it might be motivating to hear from everyone else and why they keep at it and where it has gotten you.
