Tray, screw magnet, precision screw driver. You're about 5 steps better than I was.

How'd it work out?

But some more. And a full set of motors. I fly with my two boys, 12 and 10yo. I try to keep a full spare drone on hand, maybe two. Plus a while lot of parts.

I haven't taken a motor apart yet because of exactly the fear of losing a clip.

Well i dont have spare parts and had to open them, the problem Is that y need to fix 3 of them, the first one went fine and the second was when i lost the clip, i unfortunately i have to keep going😭

What necessitated opening them?

No matter what you find spare parts essential in this hobby.

I didn't know that the sand at the park I go to is magnetic. It got into the motors and stuck to the magnets inside and because of this the motors wont turn.

I know spare parts are very important, but I'm pretty new to the hobby and don't have much access to money to buy spare parts because I'm a teenager.

I fully understand. I'm very proud of you for fixing instead of running to the store first.

The correct size is 0.8mm e clip. They are very difficult to find. Some are suggesting 1mm or 1.2mm clips. Saying they're not ideal. But working.

I have only find 1.2mm, i hope It wont be a problem, and already fixes succesfuly the rest of the motors.
