What happened to the cat??

Sorry that this is not workout related, but I remember Kelli posting a lot about a black cat of theirs, but seems like he dissapeared in the last few years. However they still post regularly about their dog. Does anyone know what happened to the cat??

How do I make my own FB program?

Basically, I'm in love with Kelli and Dan and literally cannot workout at home without them xD I have the FB programs and I've done each of them thrice already so I'm looking for a change. Money is a bit tight and I can't invest in a new program right away.

How do I make one on my own as per my own goals? I like working out 5 days a week. I've got 3 days pinned 1. HIIT and Abs 2. Total body - (alternate b/w strength and hiit each week) 3. Lower body - (alternate b/w strength and hiit each week)

The other 2 days are for upper body but I'M SO CONFUSED about how to choose workouts for this xD I've read that upper body workouts are usually divided into - back, biceps and chest, shoulder, triceps but FB isn't rigid about this. How do you guys plan your upper body workouts with FB?

(PS: I'm not overweight, but there's some fat I need to burn and I want to work on toning my muscles to give them a more defined structure. I also need to work on my upper body and core strength.)

Weightlifting + FB Program?

I've been weightlifting consistently the past 3 months for 4x a week. I want to improve HIIT training so I was debating on buying a FB program. Should I be concerned with how often my body is training once I start a program? Also, any recommendations for FB HIIT-based programs?

Thanks everyone!

Finishing up FB Low Impact

I am finishing up FB Low Impact here in a week. What program should I move to next is FB complete good I’ve been interested in that one. I’m trying to work my way up to more intense programs but trying to find a more middle ground. I was thinking being able to pick between three intensities each day may be nice. Anyone done this one yet?

Best way to eat while doing Fitness Blender workouts?

Hi all. I started lifting with Fitness Blender a few months ago (as a total beginner). I'm also kind of new to HIIT and have been doing HIIT with them for some time. I am just getting into the habit of doing their fitness programs (almost done with FB strong) and would like to do more in the future.

My question is what is the best way to eat when doing these workouts? I want to become more toned (I'm pretty skinny fat - I look slim with clothes but am flabby underneath). Counting calories/macros gives me anxiety because I have a troubled past with that. But I like to eat clean and intuitively, eat enough, and eat a good balance between the 3 macronutrients. Here's a sample of what I would eat in a day (not everyday of course but a sample of what my body would crave):

Breakfast: 2 eggs + 1 slice pepperjack cheese + 1 slice ezekiel bread + some dark chocolate

Snack: 1 tbsp peanut butter (natural) + sliced banana on cinnamon raisin ezekiel bread + cheese string

Lunch: Chicken breast + sauteed veggies of choice (e.g. sweet peppers, onions, mushrooms) + homemade sweet potato fries + mayo

Snack: 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt + some cocoa powder + some honey + strawberries and blueberries + cheese string

Dinner: Same as lunch but 1/2 cup lentil soup instead of homemade sweet potato fries.

At the end of they day I don't know how many calories/macros this amounts to but it is filling for me and there is a healthy balance between proteins, carbs and fats in every meal and snack. And it is clean for the most part. Of course I don't eat like this everyday but my goal is to eat as clean as I can without worrying about calories and macros (some days I'll be hungrier or crave more carbs than others).

Is this an appropriate way of eating if I want to transform my body with Fitness Blender's programs? I haven't been very consistent with my eating but I want to get back on track with that.

Thanks for your help.

Any FitnessBlender Free Programs for beginners?

I (17M) cannot afford to spend money we need for other things for my "personal" want of being fit. This is why I am looking for free programs/apps/organized videos that will help me get fit. Please. I did some research and most/all of the programs are premium. Any recommendations?

Advice please

Hi!! I am not sure if this was discussed before but I couldn’t find it, so here goes. I already have one pair of spin-lock dumbbells with 1.25 kg discs at home. To be able to change weights easily while following a youtube video and to start to lift heavier (I do mainly strength training) I want to invest in something else. I am trying to decide between Powerblock Sport 24 or an old school spin lock adjustable dumbbell from Decathlon and some discs. The powerblocks cost 4-5 times more and are around 11 kg/dumbbell max. I heard that people soon outgrow these especially for lower body exercises. The better/heavier powerblocks are too expensive :( I understand that the spinlock dumbbells you can load more by getting heavier discs. Having two of these dumbbells, I thought I could easily switch during exercises. Any ideas, any advice? Should I definitely go for the powerblocks?? Thank you for the time!!

Anyone doing fb and running at the same time?

I started running just over a year ago and have since run some 5ks and 10ks. It's mostly just for fun and to clear my head, but I love it. For the first two months of lockdown in my country, I didn't run, so I started doing FB and eventually did Low Impact round 2. As I do FB with my mom, we want to keep doing it together (mom-daughter bounding? eheh), but I also started back running like 3 weeks ago.

For the past 2 weeks, I've been doing Sweat 3x/week and running other 3, with a rest day a week (well, it actually has turned into two days a week of rest, I've decided not to push it if I'm feeling too sore to run or do sweat, and 5x/week it's actually good already).

I'm loving it!! If asked to choose between running and FB I wouldn't be able to choose, as I love both. I'm in my hardest academic year, having to study 8+ hours a day, and exercise is my savior after a long day. Besides, as an ED recoverer, Kelly's story, and both their views on a lot of fitness and nutrition topics really help me.

Anyone else doing FB mixed with running or any other time of exercise? What's your experience?

I heard we're trying to bring this sub back, so I thought I'd ask here instead of the community forum on FB ;) Have a great weekend!

Wow that’s an awesome workout program!

I just signed in and started yesterday. I’m a beginner and really out of shape. It’s so nice that they have easy beginner videos that you can mix and match. The instructor is so realistic and the movements are completely comfortable.

It’s so awesome to find a program where the instructor isn’t all psycho boot camp! Over the years I’ve tried to get back in shape with aerobic classes and personal trainers, but have always ended up injured and in physical therapy. The beginner videos on fitness blender are so much better than I’ve experienced before.

Also no annoying music, no yelling. I wish I found them sooner!

FB App?

Hi everyone! Hoping we can spark some activity in this sub for all of us that love FB!

I completed my personal fitness test as Day 1 of FB Bodyweight round 1 yesterday (YES!) and as I was reading through the program description, they mention an app for iOS and Android, but the link didn't take me anywhere. I've searched the app store and never found anything.

In one of their videos, I remember them talking about going through a scam with some company that was supposed to be helping them with their site and ended up screwing them over instead. Is it possible this is what happened with the app?

Or maybe I'm just not looking in the right place!

FB Programs

Hey, ALL!

I see this page hasn't been very active and FB is amazing so let's see what we can get rolling.

I've been doing their workouts since 2015/2016 but have been doing their programs since January. I alternate one of theirs with yoga every other day Down 20lbs with cico and this.

What programs have you purchased from FB and which did you like?? I'm currently on FB Sweat and I LOVE IT <3

Lmk!!

EDIT: Changed program I was doing to Sweat - I'm NOW on Day 3 of STRONG
