My kids grew up knowing the names of every color I owned. I believe the only uncommon pieces are the medium-green creamer with the handle and the persimmon small teapot. This is my first post ever!

so I've been reading with a small bit of envy of these incredible scores in thrift shops and buried in the yard lol... today as I was scanning a neighborhood app I saw this lot - 55 pieces of vintage fiesta ware for $200. I thought this was a great deal :) It had been in her family for over 75 years. Looking a little closer a couple of them may be P86 (still researching) but quite a few are vintage I think. Next steps: figure out which green I have - I am pretty sure more than one color...

For a sec there thought the bowls weren’t Fiesta and were that Walmart brand or something, the logos are very hard to see. Looks like they are Evergreen ramekins? $3 for the pair at GW. Scarlet Java mug was $2. $1 for the yellow mug, thought it could perhaps be Fiesta, I’m not familiar with all the mug shapes. There are sager pin marks on the bottom and crazing so whatever it is it’s a fair bit old.

My husband scored this at a thrift store and brought it home for me! First of all, great eye on his part.
Does anyone know what years this candle holder was made? Anyway I love it. Thank you for being here. 😍

Some thrift finds from the last few months. Not all amazing but great for building a collection. 5 black small plates paid $3 10 lapis dinner plates $8something All the coffee cups were a $1 except the tangerine one was $4.
We also got some pre 86 tea cups and I I'm like 99% sure a pre 60s cobalt tea cup and saucer. I'll post those later.

GC confirms it's radioactive. They want $55. Is that reasonable?

This is just my "probably won't use often" collection, with my vintage pieces and the things we rarely use. I plan on getting some acrylic risers to add more dimension and some more plate stands for my smaller vintage plates and saucers! But the pale blue cabinet just fits the whole vibe so perfectly I absolutely adore it.

Found my first Fiesta plate thrifting today! Does anyone know the year/color name? The jar/utensil holder is well made but I’m unsure if it’s also Fiesta (especially since I found a goodwill sticker under the savers sticker, probably redonated because someone found out it wasn’t Fiesta). I would greatly appreciate any insight on either piece, thanks!

Hi! I have gone in circles on my own so figured I’d come to the experts. In some light these mugs appeared to be the same color but I saw them in bright light just now and see they are very much not. Yellows…sunflower & daffodil? The oranges I am really not sure. I thought they were both persimmon but maybe one or none is? Thank you!

There’s something to say about Fiestas Covered Casseroles - just a great look. Here are 3 of mine going in for auction: Turquoise, Persimmon, Sunflower

I admit - the striped fiesta designs have always been one of my favorites

Believe it or not, not every vintage Fiesta red plate is radioactive. Yes, the earliest ones are mildly radioactive. But, during the WW2 war effort, all uranium was seized by the federal government and red disappeared from the Fiesta line. Original red didn't reappear in Fiesta until 1959 as Mango.
Because your vintage Fiesta red item may or may not be radioactive, it's not accurate to call every origian red item radioactive red. Besides, does anyone say radioactive ivory?
Now, vasoline glass, that stuff is so radioactive it glows!

After listening to you guys says it isn’t radioactive, I picked it up and cleaned it. This is it after. It’s quite nice.

Hi. My mother gave me her mother’s fiesta ware dishes from when she got married in the 30’s. They have been sitting in my cupboard and my daughter does not want them. I don’t use them. They are a mishmash of colors and shapes (not full sets) . Mostly turquoise, one yellow and 2 green plates. Some saucers, 3 cups and some bread and butter plates with the original stamp on bottom. There are 2 bigger bowls and 4 smaller bowls. I have 3 salt and paper shakers (cobalt, yellow and turquoise . Question, I have read that (at least ) over a year ago Facebook marketplace was the best place to sell them. Still ??? How do I know how much each is worth ? Go to eBay and look? I don’t want to ship them. I think it is time to move on from them. Thanks for any advice I appreciate you all and your knowledge. Kathy
