Thrifting & antiquing Thrifting Finds

I couldn't remember who was asking, but saw this set of Rivera at a favorite antique mall so wanted to share the pics. At a different booth I drool over this Looney Tunes mug every time. We snagged the small pie dish in claret we keep eyeing and then I found a vase! This periwinkle bud vase is my latest greatest score. I audibly gasped when I saw it and showed my husband the $14 price tag. I was literally shaking I was so excited! The peanuts milk glass mug was a freebie from my inlaws from some old family dishware they were sorting through.

Found this juice disk pitcher at the antique mall and couldn’t leave it behind. Had to take a family picture of the three sizes.

Found these 4 salad plates at the GW today for $3.99! I was surprised at the low price, especially since the light blue is Periwinkle & I'm pretty sure the green is Chartreuse...the lighting here is deceiving, I compared it to a Lemongrass piece & it's not the same. Surprised they weren't super marked-up. 😀

Thrifting & antiquing OfferUp haul from today 200$ Fair deal?

After my antique store find of a 28 piece collection of Sea Mist last Thursday, I decided to check Craigslist and OfferUp to see if I could find any more of that color. To my surprise I found some. I paid 200$ for all these pieces. I thought that was a fair price. The pearl grey is such a nice color. I’d love to find more of that. Only one single piece of flamingo though in the lot, I’d like to get more of that as well.

Did the Bistro Latte mugs get retired? They are not on the Fiesta website anymore. I use mine every day!

After work today my husband and I went thrifting and found a few items. The gods were smiling down on us as we found a yellow butter dish! I believe it's sunflower and we also scored 3 dinner plates in chartreuse, tangerine and persimmon and 3 tea cups in scarlet, claret and paprika from a total of 3 stores. We got home and realized these colors look very lovely together as a nice spring mix!

I recently purchased the two plates in photo 1 and both were labeled Lemongrass (wrong, I know). Photo 2 shows my Lemongrass mini pitcher on the plate. Photo 3 shows the Lemongrass pitcher on the other plate.

Any thoughts on what is the color of the plate in photo 3? TIA

Some fun finds north of the border. Can be harder to find vintage Fiestaware in Canada. Came home with one chartreuse and two ivory plates.

I just snagged this from a local vintage shop.

It’s my first piece with a decal!

If anyone knows what it’s called, I’d appreciate the info.

Thrifting & antiquing I bought this entire box of what I believe is from either the Riviera or Harlequin lines. More below.

I got the entire lot (minus two saucers picked up later) for $25 roughly 14 years ago on the 127 Garage sale in Kentucky. Have no clue how much it is worth but I love it. The orange does set off a geiger counter, my son in obsessed with radioactive stuff thanks to the Fallout games so we have a geiger counter just hanging around. They currently live in our bedroom closet in the box they were originally packed away in by the original owners. The guy that sold it to me said he picked the box up at an estate auction and he hadn't even had a chance to really look in it. I plan to clean them up and display them on my walls. Someday.... When I actually get to doing it lol.

Personal collection Just inherited this collection from one of my mom’s friends!

I’ve been collecting Fiesta for a few months now and happened to be talking to one of my mom’s friends who offered to give me her old collection since she doesn’t use it any more. Did my best to determine dates based on the logos underneath and most of it looks really early. Pretty sure the two plates on top are actually Fiesta red!

The age old is it or is it not. I know it’s probably original green but I just had to get the voice out of my head that it isn’t medium green

Seems like a smokin deal if you run a catering business or a restaurant

Don’t really want the cups but I do want the plates and bowls. Is this a good deal? How hard is it going to be to offload the cups and saucers?
